Our food was beautifully presented, very generous portions and delicious! Server was nicely responsive and very good! We enjoyed it very much!
Went in with great expectations - took a client there for lunch. While we arrived around noon there were few people there yet we were seated near/next to the kitchen doors. My client had seated himself so I did not ask for another table - but should have. Many available tables in the room and we had the worst spot in the place as waiters/staff went through the doors. Secondly there was no buffet as shown on menu available on the internet- and we went on a Thursday. Finally I had the linguine with clams - awful - too salty and the clams had not been cleaned out well so the food was gritty - So I had salty sand/linguine. Client had the steak salad and he said it was good. Service was good and attentive.
Food was average and lukewarm.
This is the most elegant, well run, quality hotel and restaurant in Dallas. We love the outdoor atmosphere because it is serene and lovely. Our server was outstanding! The food is amazing. We have been enjoying Trevi's for 16 years ever since we had our wedding at the Omni.
Underwhelmed by the food, especially considering the price tag.
Good breakfast bar, omelets, fresh fruit.
The hostess immediately found our reservation and we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful arbor and the view of Lake Caroline. Our server Daisy was a very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were all served quickly and tasted wonderful. Overall a very enjoyable dinner.
this restaurant has the location and design to be fabulous, however there is no dress code whatsoever. customers ranged from flip flops & t shirts to business dress. there was a strong smell from seafood being served. our server was good but they need additional servers, etc to make this restaurant a 5star.
The food and service was exceptional! We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday.
The Mothers Day brunch was exceptional - the price is what you’d expect for Dallas for a fancy brunch, but the food and atmosphere were exceptional.
Love this place. My wife and I have been coming here off and on for 10 years
We had a very enjoyable evening and the food was delicious.
Very poor service. Food got delayed. Wine was not served professionally.
Easter Brunch was excellent.
Great location. Our waitress Dolores provided amazing service , she was super attentive , very thoughtful .. and friendly. She even bought chocolate cake 🎂 for my wife’s birthday. The breakfast buffet was also really delicious. I would have loved to have more options like waffles and pancakes for that kids and maybe a few international options.
Very Good food 👍
The food was amazingly delicious and was out in a timely manner. I will be going back.
We were looking for a breakfast location that would allow us to chat with out-of-town family members. The good reviews led and to Trevi’s and we were impressed. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and the food was both super fresh and tasty. We’ll return for other meals when chatting with our companions while eating good food with thoughtful service is key.
Food was good but overpriced which is typical for hotel restaurants. Service was slow.
The service was impeccable! The warm bread with roasted garlic is a nice touch. We enjoyed the calamari. Our entrees were where the meal became very mediocre. Perhaps my selection was poor, regardless, it was not to my taste.
Excellent service and food. Try the braised short ribs! Hubby had Chilean Sea Bass that was to die for!
Second time for us. We will be back.
Lovely dinner with family. Gerson was our waiter and he did everything possible to make sure we had s lovely evening. At the end of the meal the chef came to our table and it was nice to thank him in person for the exquisite dinner. VERY high end attentiveness.
I always pick Trevi's as my favorite place for special occasions ...Love it.
Breakfast there is an occasion in itself...Love them!
Have come here for breakfast for years everytime we are staying here in Dallas. This was the first time that the breakfast buffet was unavailable. Ordered off menu where everything was a la carte. Modest hot breakfast for two with juice and coffee, over $50. We are staying here 3 days, but going elsewhere for breakfast.
The bean soup was mushy. The mushroom ravioli was kind of dense but had a nice sauce
This was extremely disappointing. Omni hotel restaurants are usually outstanding. We gave up and went elsewhere when a table by us received an order of calamari which smelled terrible. It took away our appetite.
Went to the Omni at Mandalay for my birthday with family. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Beautiful view and the brunch was magnificent! Will definitely go again. Took beautiful pictures that will be treasured for years. Highly recommend for special occasions.
The food was incredible! The meatballs are huge!!! My fruitta de mar was delicious. The tiramisu martini was fun. The view in the back dining was very pretty. Listening to the other tables around me, they all had dined prior. The brunch looked incredible, may have that today.
Our server, wish I could remember his name will get an extra shout out for being professional, attentive and awesome. Saturday night approximately 6:30.
Oh if you are one of the few not falling for the keto fad, get the bread and roasted garlic, goes great with the porcini mushroom soup!
While the wine list looks good, watch the aging. We ordered 3 bottles of wine before we got on that wasn't turned. They've kept their whites way too long. The food was really good and the bartender worked hard to correct the experience. I wouldn't say you go there for wine; better for just the food and bar cocktails.
Beautiful outdoor and indoor dining space. Adored the antipasti dinner portion salad and wonderful view! Service was wonderful.
We did both dinner and breakfast there for our first year wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate! From the moment we arrived, to the moment that we left, everyone was friendly, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional!
I was looking for a nice Sunday brunch in Irving where the food and ambiance were good, the noise level congenial to an extended conversation, and not the $59 charged by the Four Seasons. Mission accomplished. Lovely setting, attentive service, and a good buffet for $22.
Very bad service, waiter forgot to order my main dish and when everybody was done with their food, I asked for my ravioli and he said he forgot to order them. Bad experience
Excellent service, food and ambiance. We even got on the house dessert, yayyyy. Thanks!
We were in the area attending a convention, so picked Trevi's for good Italian & we were not disappointed.
On a Thursday evening, we entered the hotel and walked down to the restaurant. The décor is somewhat lacking; although nice, it has a generic hotel vibe that I found bland and unappealing. We were greeted promptly and courteously, shown to table immediately; Server was friendly and took good care of us, being attentive but not overly so. She had some good recommendations and was pleasant as well.
Calamari for appetizer was better than most; Salad we chose was the arugula and it was very fresh and had just the right note of peppery flavor. Both of these came in family style which made great sharing for our table. Our main dishes were Pasta di Frutti di Mare (the shrimp were huge!), Cappasante con Linguini (6 large scallops, perfectly sautéed) and Cotoletta del Vitello (lemon-caper sauce was spot-on). We were too full for desert!
A little pricy, but considering it's in a hotel setting and the quality of the meal, worth the price. Would definitely return, perhaps for a special event.
Looking at so morning buffet window
Service was great
Restaurant was very cold and service very slow. Food is good.
I enjoyed eating here very much. I loved the sourdough bagette and the savory butter with the roasted garlic, promptly brought to the table. I tried the Faglioli soup which was rich and hearty. The caesar salad, served in slanted bowls for easy access, was an unexpected delight. My cabernet, suggested by the wonderful waitress Daisy, was perfect. I ordered pasta, but I made several deletions/changes to the menu item for dietary restrictions, and it was served perfectly and was delicious. I may have gone a little lighter on the sauce. I did not try any desserts as I was too full. The service was so good I made a special effort to let the manager know what a gem they have in Daisy. Thanks again.
