Saturday night 8:30
Could not really understand our server but the food was great.
We love Trader Vic's! It is our go-to restaurant when we are in Atlanta. We'll see you at Dragon*Con this fall!
Ambiance was nice. Food just average.
Trader Vic's was a fun ride back into the Tiki culture of the 1940s and 50s. The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. The overall price tag was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but with the service and the camaraderie, a great evening was had. So not a cheap night out, but a fun environment. This one is in the bottom of a hotel so you have to go inside the hotel and take the main elevator to the basement to step back in time.
What a cultural and historic gem, tucked away in downtown Atlanta! The ambiance is mesmerizing, transporting guests to the South Pacific as it was imagined by Trader Vic in the mid 70s. The food is delicious and plentiful. And the drinks are the main attraction—the origin of so many tropical favorites. Everything was wonderful.
Fantastic service and wonderful food! Drinks were delicious and STRONG! Loved the fact that we could have a great dinner in the same hotel in which we were staying. Thank you!
It was my husband’s birthday and the wait staff were very friendly and professional!! The appetizers we not very good; cold meat items that should’ve been hot, chewy, hard ribs, etc. the main entrees were good and the drinks were delicious!
This is one of our favorite places in Atlanta. Retro/mid century vibe that makes you feel like a scene out of Mad Men. Amazing atmosphere and food. I have zero complaints about this place.
We had a wonderful time and the food was fantastic! Thank you for helping make my 50th birthday dinner fabulous!
Fantastic experience as always. Not over fancy and stuffy. Filet was fork tender and egg rolls delicious. Bananas foster was amazing! We sat with Ki and the service was perfect! This is a place I feel is way underrated
Great food & killer drinks! The rib appetizer was excellent
I waited over 20 minutes to be asked if I wanted a beverage. Had to ask for the complimentary basket of crackers other tables had. Waited longer then others for my meal, and no apology or even acknowledgement.
I love this place. The Mai Tais are the best! The food is amazing and the ambiance and staff are really nice. A bit smoky at times due to the slow cooking fire pit but after a few mai tais and the good Thursday live bands you won't even notice! They also validate parking! What are you waiting for? Give it a try!
Loved every minute!
The food was some of the best I've had. It was prepared correctly and was really delicious. The service however, was disappointing. We waited a long time for the server to come for our drink orders, then to take our food orders. Then was late to our theater performance because of waiting for her to come with dessert and bill. In fact, dessert had to be boxed and taken with us so we didn't get to enjoy it there. I would go back but I would hope the service would be exponentially better.
We loved this Trader Vic's! I had only eaten (several times) at the one in Emeryville, CA and was happy when I found that there was one in Atlanta, GA.
Our waitress (sorry, don't remember her name) was very knowledgeable about the drinks and recommend several different ones. Was also very knowledgeable about the menu.
This was on our anniversary and our waitress surprised use with a delicious dessert.
Overall a great experience and if we are ever in the Atlanta area again, we will eat here again!
From the reviews I thought the visible cooking space we provide a ‘show’ but it was more so just an open fire. The food was good, just a little pricey.
Traveled from out of state, I’m a huge Tiki fan. Loved the ambiance but the food was bland and sub par.
