Tilikum Place Cafe
Another terrific meal at Tilikum Place Cafe!
Given its proximity to the Space Needle, you would think the Tilikum Cafe would be a tourist hangout. But it seems to be a go-to for neighborhood locals. We had the whole bronzino, which was excellent - as was the service.
Great food! Perfect spot to catch up with a good friend!
Another great evening with fabulous service, delicious food and a very nice setting! One of our favorite restaurants!
We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant- portion sizes were very generous, very tasty. Service was a bit slow (in that our salad and appetizer took a really long time and basically showed up just prior to the meal). Otherwise, it was a lovely meal prior to theater. We will definitely return.
Lives up to the hype surrounding it - the food was fresh and very tasty!
We love Tilikum Place Cafe. It is a rare gem in the Seattle Center neighborhood. Just close enough to the theatres that you can enjoy a nice meal before a show. Feels like a European cafe. Great bar, too! Staff is always warm and helpful.
Very tasty and service was great!
This place never disappoints. Highly recommend.
Food was excellent and can not wait to go back!
Hidden Gem! Pasta, short ribs and skillet chicken were all amazing! Will definitely be back.
One of the best neighborhood restaurants in Seattle. Consistently delivers from the small but well curated wine list, the value for the entire meal, warmth of service, and comfortable space. This place makes you want to become a regular.
Everytime I dine here I am reminded what good food tastes like. The menu is tight and well procured. There is truly something for everyone without the menu losing some magic. The service is friendly and very accomodating. The ambiance is something to hold on to considering the number of wrecking balls that are taking away the charm of our city. This place retains it and makes me feel at home. I try to introduce my friends to this place as many times as I can. So worth the jaunt to Belltown.
My boyfriend and I came here for brunch and we had the best experience that made our day! First of all, the food is incredible. Everything is made there, except their baguettes. One of the waiters even gave us the extra nutella he had made (amazing). He even suggested that I mix the maple syrup with hot sauce, for the breakfast i had ordered, and it was sooooo good! Second, the people are extremely kind and friendly, as I stated above. The place itself is very nice and cozy. Make sure to make a reservation first. It’s also located in a really great area! Great experience! Great food! Great prices! Great people :)
The service was great! The food was equally as good. While the dining area is small the noise level was surprisingly low and the spacing between the tables was fine. I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to eating there again.
Great food. Love the Dutch babies. We had the savory and sweet versions. They really need a breakfast cocktail menu, though the standards of bloody marys and mimosas were available and good.
We love this cozy restaurant and the roast chicken is the best I've ever tasted- Bring a friend or loved one for a New York Bistro experience in Seattle.
In the top 100 restaurants.
Get the cucumber melon salad special at dinner and feel it crunch in your mouth, hand cut wide pasta noodles with creamy sauce, spread the pate on the toast and feel it roll against your tongue, phyllo cheesecake (cheese inside phyllo dough with salad on top, roast chicken (their signature dish), and salmon or halibut all with innovative sauces. Always check the specials and cheese board at the north and east walls.
For breakfast, get the pot of French Press and share, Dutch baby classic, and Tilikum Place breakfast, extra side of their sausage, and ask for extra Harissa Ketchup for your potatoes.
For dessert, share the chocolate polenta cake and upside down cake.
This place is a gem that does require some planning/reservations if you are more than two people. We had my two yr old and inlaws and the staff took such great care of us amongst the holiday hustle.
. Get the Dutch babies and order right when you sit down as they take a while.
I have recommended Tilikum Place to ALL my friends. It is an amazing place that is love manifested in its service, its food, its ambience and most of all its people.
Food was excellent, however it was very strange that one of the specials (Black Cod) was listed as a special, but it was not available, in spite of the fact that we were there at 5:30 pm right after the Cafe opened. If it is not available, then don't list it.
Not an unbiased view - love this place - the warm greeting at the door ... food is always imaginative a delicious- good wine, great service - why go elsewhere is always my question! And the black cod ( a rarity it seems anymore) was simply superb.
The Dutch Babies used to be much better with a lot more filling, now it's very little filling and relatively tasteless compared to what it once was. See photos for empty Dutch Babies vs what it used to be.
Go it was fantastic. Especially if you can get a table up against the window. Cocktails were excellent and made in a way to be a real drink! Love this place
We enjoyed a Holiday celebration at Tilikum Place for the second year. It's a real favorite for us and our friends. All the entrees very fabulous. I especially enjoyed the Duck Sausage.
Fabulous brunch as always!!! Had the special eggs Benedict with a French press and a mimosa and it did not disappoint. It was my boyfriends first visit and he now says this is his favorite brunch spot in Seattle!
Great service, delicious food
We were seated right away. The food is great. Delicious and not complicated. Service was professional. I will return.
Still one of the best breakfasts in town
The food (lunch) was absolutely delicious, I had one of the veggie specials and it was spectacular. We were not hurried at all, but the service was nice and fast.
I've been coming here for years and am always amazed by the great food served. Three thumbs up!
Simply love this place. try and take any friends I can and in this case I brought my ex father in law. we had a great night , wonderful service and terrific food. My neighborhood favorite.
Great food. But there were some weird restrictions on modifying if items on the menu (I.e we couldn’t add meat to an omelet).
Outstanding food and service, a Seattle gem! The past appetizer is always amazing.
We chose this restaurant because of its proximity to the Rep. Did not know anything about it and were pleasantly surprised, as it completely exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The service was attentive and they made sure to check our show plans so we could get out on time. The food was delicious and prepared creatively and carefully, but without pretension. Absolutely loved the butternut squash tart and Brussels sprouts appetizers, chicken, and the Chestnut crepes!
The dessert was delicious- a kind of pumpkin cream.
My mom was in town visiting and this was a perfect brunch spot to show off Seattle. She had the breakfast sandwich and I had the pumpkin-cream cheese Dutch baby. So good!! The middle of the Dutch baby didn’t have too much of a taste but still ate it all! Close to the space needle and if your lucky enough for a window you can see it! Definitely a place to take visitors.
You can always count on Fantastic Food here! The service was Awesome too.....nice table, seated right away....great fun!
It’s one of our favorite places in Seattle. Never had a bad meal or poor service.
