Lovely atmosphere and fabulous food. The service was excellent and they informed every little detail regarding the food
All invitees at the table were unanimous - our experience was outstanding from the reception desk until we left.
All bakings were accurate, well spiced and reasonably hot to enjoy the balance of the overall cooking of the dishes served.
The service was carefull without being annoying.
Congratulations to the all team!
Great food and cocktails!!
The service was excellent. We ordered non-vegetarian tasting courses with mango lassi. And there’s nothing to complain about the cuisine. My friends and I had a wonderful time there.
Great experience - all what we expected! Great food, attentive staff - the only "negative" I would mention is that there was almost too much to eat :)
While I love Quilon, I was surprised by how “light” the tasting menu was and how little of Kerala was in the mix give the variety that was possible just with Kerala cuisine especially given the price. Tasing menus at other Indian restaurants have had more courses and more variety.
A thought... would be to have a sadhya style tasting menu to get more flavours and Foods from Kerala...
This was my second visit to this amazing venue. The service is really outstanding- understated yet very attentive without being intrusive. The little extras are a super touch. The food is authentic, different and of outstanding quality. It is just the best place and I love it.
Rule #1 of having a Michelin Star is don’t mention the Michelin Star. Violated in first half hour at the Quilon. Went downhill from there.
We had a nice dinner. However we did a lot of very good Indian restaurant in London and I must say that I was expecting something more surprising
We had a great time. Our main waiter was excepcional his helpers need more training. We had the non vegetarian tasting menu. When it comes to tasting everything that comes individually was excellent but the main was not as impressive. We loved it and we are back sometime soon
Diwali lunch - wanted a place where they could also do food without onion and garlic for one of the people in the group. They couldn’t do that so a bit disappointed with it.
The serve was great and the food was amazing! Worth every penny!!
The service could use improvement. The table was not set properly upon sitting down. We were looked at funny when we asked for a wine recommendation. There was an overly-lengthly delay between courses. One of our courses (we ordered the seafood set menu) was not explained. I struggled to get water glasses refilled. I noticed other tables had water bottles on them, but we did not. I was SO thirsty I had to buy a bottle of water before heading home. Excellent food!!
Excellent service and delightful cuisine. The waiter ensured everything was perfect.
This place serves only a adequately decent menu. Nothing here to blow you're mind but still decent enough to visit now and again if in the area.
This is one of my favourite places for lunch. The food is good, service impeccable and it has a quiet calm ambience
Amazing service, with great explanations of each dish. The wait staff were attentive without interrupting the meal too often. The food was outstanding. Welcoming even if you don't normally eat at fancy places!
Always a pleasure to return! The best Indian in London! Authentic, service is top class! Don’t miss out on the Indian wine to match your lunch/dinner!
Everything about Quilon was superb. The staff was exceptional as was the food.
The place is amazing and the food is incredible; the evening was remarkable
I heard about Quilon from a regular diner there. Initial impression was that of confident understatement, subsequently complimented by extremely courteous, professional staff. Food is first class, both in quality and presentstion, and the waiters were only too happy to answer any queries and recommend dishes in line with palette preferences. A thoroughly enjoyable evening - I now understand why my friend eats there so frequently!!!
Excellent food and service as always.
Food wasn't as good as what one would expect from one of the top Indian restaurants.
Superb food and service. Expensive but worth it! I would definitely go again.
Mediocre food with mediocre service. Not sure how this is a Michelin rest
The food was very good. However, at the end of our meal, our waiter Raghby(?) kept asking us for tips on card even though it said 'no tipping was allowed' and service charge was included. Then he kept us waiting for a long time to get cups to take our wine (for which we paid over GBP350) to the bar area of the hotel. When I finally started walking out, that's when the cups suddenly appeared. I am surprised at the rude treatement by Raghby at a Michelin star restaurant where guests pay so much and expect a level of service rather than being bugged about tipping and then receiving slow service (we ordered a wine carafe AFTER ordering an expensive Bordeaux Pomerol bottle). Did not feel welcome and I don't think I will be going to Quilon again.
One of the best Indian Restaurants . Highly recommend this place
Great food, great service, would highly recommend it !
Amazing experience. Delicious food, Great service and Great price! The tasting menu was awesome 😊
Indian cuisine is not our favorite, but it was good, and the service excellent. We were seated next to the aisle to the kitchen and that was not the best, but still a good experience.
I have been coming to Quilon for the last 4 years, the service used to be amazing but it has definitely dropped.
My husband and I go for the Sunday special menu where the staff used to give us extra accompaniments and sides, a tea pot of chai per person. When we went with 8 ppl, we got 2 accompaniments across all of us and just one cup of chai, when we asked for extra portions we were charged.
I have recommended Quilon to so many ppl over the years, I am disappointed at the service.
On my previous visit, the waiter dropped a tamarind chutney on our table cloth, instead of changing the tablecloth, they just put an extra napkin to hide the stain.
The service is definitely not what it used to be.
From start to finish this was a first class experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was clever in its presentation with great descriptions by staff when presented at the table. We thoroughly enjoy the meal. I won’t hesitate to return
Great lunch for £27!
Five star cooking at a great price
We have been to Quilon several times. This was the first with my son who just turned 20. Surprisecake:-). We had wonderful chicken to start with champagne. The signatur Lamb shank was matched with Little Creatures Pale Ale. Outstanding :-)
Love to be back soon!
Food excellent as always. We had the seafood tasting menu and the quality of the ingredients and the blend of spices made every course a delight. The highlights were the turbot and the seafood biryani but I couldn’t fault any of it. Service is efficient and friendly.
We went to Quilon for my birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We are from the seafood menu and were surprised at how much food came with. We were practically rolling out of the door.
Although the food and service at Quilon were quite acceptable we felt that there was nothing outstanding about this restaurant. Quite disappointing for a restaurant with a Michelin star.
We had to ask to move table as the table next to us was very noisy with children shouting.
We chose the 'non-vegetarian' menu. The starter arrived BEFORE we had finished eating the popadoms etc....
The main course of lamb and chicken tasted as though the chef had emptied the salt pot into it by mistake.
The pudding was a piece of dry cake and tasteless pistachio ice cream
The four very small glasses of wine in the wine flight were very average and not worth the £39
The last beer I had in the beer flight tasted like a children's raspberry fizzy pop
Having eaten in numerous Michelin stared restaurants we wondered how you ever achieved your star!
Altogether we were very disappointed
As always delicious food and perfect service!
