Cosy friendly amazing food country winter atmosphere lovely for a Sunday roast dinner
Our third visit to this gastro pub. Fantastic selection on the menu, plus an additional Christmas menu. Portion size good, service good, lively and friendly atmosphere, 10 out of 10.
Not really for vegetarians had to ask the chief what he could do. Mushroom linguine which was greasy, small portion. Expensive evening, wouldn’t go again. Sorry.
Dinner was really good. There’s a real cosy intimate feel especially in winter with candles lit and the log fires. Food was terrific. Every course was lovely and beautifully presented, with the best of it being a wonderful Rabbit Casserole!! Service is prompt and friendly and overall thought it was excellent value for money.
We are regulars at the Queens Head which says a lot . Food / Service / Ambience were excellent as always. We are moving away from the area in a few weeks and this is one place we will miss going to 😢
Beautifully cooked and presented food easy comfortable surrounding will def be goin back
Regular visitor, food is always superb, high quality restaurant standard. Large selections of beers & wines.
Wonderful lunch as always
Never been disappointed
First time i have taken friends there
They were really impressed
Too many old pubs have missed the boat in updating to the current lifestyle of wining and dining. So many resort to full-on restaurants and lose the ambience and clientele for those who want their local pub. The Queen's Head is both a local pub and an exquisite dining venue. The warm, cosy atmosphere and cheerful, helpful efficient staff blended with superb food made this a night to remember for our special anniversary dinner. It may be small but it is a gem worth seeking out.
Yet another very tasty Sunday lunch at the Queens Head.
