The Old Inn is a traditional country pub in the heart of the idyllic village of Holt. Situated close to the historic town of Wimborne Minster, The Old Inn is the perfect destination when you fancy a homemade, traditional pub meal. With real fires, a beautiful garden and fantastic service, this pub is definitely worth a visit. We have worked hard to put together a menu that offers something for everyone. Everything is freshly prepared at the Old Inn, from our Chicken Liver paté, to children’s chicken nuggets. We pride ourselves that all of our meals are traditionally cooked using largely locally sourced ingredients and our seasonal specials are definitely worth looking at too, as well as our delicious desserts! We aim to provide a prompt, efficient and friendly service and we can cater for all types of parties.

Main courses, the calf liver was great The Sea Bass was great. The starters however, were a little bit dated. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. We will surely be going back for a second visit.

My husband and I visited this beautiful pub with my son, daughter in law, 8 month old baby and their Labrador. We were made to feel very welcome and we had the most beautiful lunch. It was a very special time and we all had a wonderful time. The staff were very pleasant and the service was fabulous! We will be returning very soon! Thank you to staff and chef for the most amazing food!

Nice pub with a wide menu. Overall, good food, including pub classics, pizza and more. Most of our meals were good, if not outstanding. Scampi, chicken burger, Steak pie. The chilli is a little disappointing, with most of the plate filled up with (out of a packet) nachos and white rice. The chilli that there was, was tasty. On a positive note, good puddings in generous portions.
