The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Arlington
The food and ambiance is amazing. I was highly disappointed in the service, which was very slow. I am not sure why, they did not appear to be super busy, but for whatever reason it took such a long time to get our food and ticket. Had it not been for this I would have given all 5’s across the board.
I like the waiter to take the order, serve the salad, serve the main meal and desert and present the bill and not a third party do parts.
The food was fantastic as always. William is always a great server. We have never had a bad meal or bad service at The Keg. The attention to detail and the servers knowledge (all of them) along with high quality food is why we come back over and over. See you soon.
Had to change reservation one hour before due to flight related delay and had no issues. Staff was great, young waitress was knowledgable and simply wonderful. Food was well prepared, dishes well designed, excellent wine collection. Will be back!
We went to the Keg for our anniversary and they were very accommodating. Food was fantastic and they even brought us our champagne. Would definitely recommend anyone to try them out.
Great 3 course meal at an outstanding price for restaurant week. Prime rib was excellent but the ice cream pie was even better. Excellent service, too.
We were there on a very slow night, admitted by our server and the service was still very slow. Out of several items ordered and staff was not aware along with not being familiar with menu.
Second time eating at The Keg and it was just as outstanding as the first time! We could not have asked for a more perfect evening out as a family.
Awesome experience. Great food and great service.
Atmosphere was very nice, not too dim and not too bright. A great place to take that special someone and food and service was top notch. Will definitely return.
We love going to the Keg! The atmosphere is awesome and the food is delicious. I always get the pistachio crusted salmon and my husband got the strip steak. The salad is generously portioned and Riley was a terrific server. She was very friendly and she took care of us. We’ll definitely come back!
We have been going to The Keg for years and have always had great service and food. This New Year's Eve, however, was not quite up to par with previous visits. We requested a table near the fireplace, which we got. That was great! But the table itself was an oval shape, and the plates (dinner, salad, bread) couldn't all fit on the table with four of us. No group of four should ever be seated at a table like that for dinner purposes. There is simply not enough room. My husband ordered a filet, but what he was originally served was most definitely not a filet. We don't know if they got his order mixed up with someone else's, or if the cut was of poor quality. The meat was not done, and it was very tough. Not the quality of a filet. He sent it back, and they brought him a newly cooked filet that was just right. Great again! The manager also took my husband's dinner off the bill, which was very nice but certainly not necessary. They'd made it right by bringing him a new steak. Then we realized we had not been given steak knives like we usually do there. Not a big deal, but definitely not the usual. Had these things happened later in the evening on New Year's Eve after several people had already been there, I could understand it a little more. But our reservation was for 6:00, which is certainly not late on NYE. Our server was wonderful and very accommodating. We appreciated his hard work and attentiveness. All in all, not a bad dinner, but definitely not up to the standards we expect of The Keg. Hoping this was just a fluke and will not be the norm.
We celebrated NYE at The Keg. I put in the notes of my reservation that it would be 4 adults and 3 high chairs. When we arrived at the restaurant I reminded the host and after 5 min of waiting she told us our table was ready. When we got to our table there were no high chairs. I informed the lady seating us that we needed high chairs before the adults could sit down and she seemed surprised. We stood in the middle of the restaurant for almost 10 minutes until she and someone else brought us the high chairs. Ridiculous. Our waiter was nice but service was extremely slow and our waiter forgot to bring us the children’s appetizers. We ordered our steaks medium well and all 4 steaks were overcooked and so dry. Not worth the cost of our dining there.
The Keg never disappoints. The service is amazing and the food always comes out prepared the way that you wanted. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food at the Keg is always spot on. The steaks are great as was the seafood. Great selection of wines and beverages. Service was top knot he’d. Can’t wait to go back!
Service was excellent. Food was average. It was edible but nothing special.
We get what we expect at the Keg. We have not been disappointed.
Miss our faithful server George.
Made a reservation at 7. Got seated right away, but then didn’t see a waiter for 10 mins. Manager came out to apologize right away and gave us free appetizer and desert. Great service and the food was outstanding. Definitely will come back!
Average, little disappointed in food
Reservations were running one hour late but the food was worth the wait
Great waiters and waitresses.
Reservations at 730, had to press to see the manager at 745 b/c hostesses making excuses about seating us. Manager got us a table in 2 minutes and comped dessert.
Dined at The Keg for a 25th birthday celebration.
Service was really slow but the food was excellent! It was very busy so being slow was understood
We arrived for our reservation a few minutes early. We were asked if we wanted to be seated or wait for the rest of our party. We indicated that we would wait for the rest of our party since we were early and were the hosts of the event. Everyone arrived and we approached the hostess to say we were ready to be seated. She indicated that they were waiting for the table to clear and it would just be a few minutes. 45 minutes later we were still waiting to be seated. Finally seated, I selected wine forthe table and the waiter brought 4 glasses (there were 6 of us). He indicated that the kitchen was behind and he was waiting on more clean glasses. I have never heard this before. Just wash two more glasses and bring out 6 glasses. It was a precursor for how the night would go. We ordered 2 plates of appetizers. We were still waiting for the appetizers and then the waiter came back to take our dinner order. We ordered some salads, entre's and sides. A bit later the salads arrived but no sight of the appetizers. Our waiter returns and apologizes that the salads arrived before the appetizers. Eventually the appetizers arrived and we were just getting started on those and the entrees arrived. However the shareable sides did not arrive.
They came out about 10 minutes later. After dinner we were interested in coffee and desserts. The waiter informed us that they were having a problem with their water (all coming out as salt water) and so they could not offer us coffee. We ordered dessert. When the dessert came out the waiter indicated that they only had 4 spoons available...he didn't offer a few forks and never came back with two more. The waiter was pleasant and tried to add some comedic relief during the evening but the place was out of control on every front. What a mess.
The Keg is an annual tradition each time we go to Dallas for a Cowboy game. This year, both the game and our dinner were winners.
Everything was fantastic! The staff was incredibly hospitable and accommodating! They went out of their way to honor all my requests and ensure the quality of the food and the event! We couldn’t have asked for anything to go any better!
The food and service was above par, as it always is at The Keg. Our server was Awesome. He took very good care of us and our guests that dined with us.
Had to wait an hour for our table even with a reservation. Waiters were nice.
Our server was a very sweet young lady who was very attentive and helpful. It was my husband's Birthday and the manager came over with a complimentary dessert for him. The food was excellent and the steaks were cooked perfectly. Great experience!
The Keg is my favorite place for prime rib and quiet atmosphere. Service is always excellent. I highly recommend!
This was our first time at The Keg. We went for our anniversary and everything was fantastic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable when we asked questions and even gave us a menu tour. The food was exactly how we had ordered it and was amazing. I am so glad we decided on The Keg to celebrate our special day. I would love to go back.
This is one of our favorite places to eat out. It never disappoints and the service and food are always wonderful. We love the consistency and know that we can expect the same greatness anytime we dine here.
My wife and I love coming here. This is our favorite place to dine.
Everything about this restaurant was five star. I will definitely be going back. It was our 6 year anniversary and we were treated very well.
Annual Anniversary dinner at The Keg. Everything was amazing as usual!
Always good food and service. Our standby for holidays and birthdays.
Our family experienced a wonderfully memorable Thanksgiving lunch at The Keg. The greeting staff was so friendly upon arrival, happily helping my 92 year old mom in and out of the door. The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy. It was a cold day and they had the fireplaces on and that was so nice. Our waiter, Anthony, was so polite, so nice, extremely professional, always had a smile on his face, and was very prompt the entire time. Please ask for Anthony should you visit here, and tip him well (he deserves it!). These employees sacrificed their Thanksgiving day to make ours special, and they ALL said it was their pleasure to of service. So very nice and professional of them. This restaurant must have a very good manager as every employee here was top notch.
The chefs in the kitchen deserve props, too...the food was absolutely spot on. It was delicious. My favorite was the Ahi Tuna appetizer, but those that got the steak (and turkey dinner) said it was perfect. Portions were hearty. We plan to revisit The Keg-Arlington since this may be one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in the US, including NYC and California.
Our server, William, was the best! Our whole experience was super!
