The meal was just delicious and surprisingly different in a good way. I definitely recommend the Sunday roasts. Wine was not as good.

Staff were very young and inexperienced, but helpful regardless. Chef was very unhelpful when I asked for a slight alteration to my Sunday lunch.

A consistently good pub for both a drink and a meal.
I liked the relaxed feel of this place. The staff were nice and friendly, and the service was very good. The food was excellent, a good wine list, I have to mention the wonderful homemade bread.

I'm not new here. Dining with a friend this meal did not disappoint. Excellent ingredients in both starter and main. Tasty and well presented on hot plates. Not common these days. I'll be back when occasion arises.
Sunday night roast
Never disappoint! Love their food and menu. Staff is cool and nice. Great address for a cosy and low key lunch
The Havelock offers an ambiance of a cross between a wanting to be gastropub without its smug flashiness. The staff are generally friendly but mostly not well informed of what the kitchen does. On the evening of our visit, the servers could not tell me if some of the items on the menu were available or what the changed prices of the whiskeys on the list were. The food we received, after a considerably long wait, for the kitchen had clearly backed up, was hot. The croquettes were the best I have had in a pub or restaurant in the UK. The lack of adequate staff was reflected in the delays from ordering to delivery.
We turned up towards the end of lunchtime, the restaurant was still very busy. Friendly staff, actually recommended a cheaper wine on the menu. Not a large selection on the menu, but everything we had was excellent, both in appearance an taste. Crevettes, ceviche, deckle steak and pork ribeye.
I will definitely be back.

I have been going to The Havelock since I moved to the Kensington Olympia area in 2012. During most of that time it has provided the best overall cuisine in the neighbourhood. The menu offers substantial choice and the seafood offerings are as well prepared as the meat dishes. The wine list is at a high standard and it appeals to an attractive client base. I highly recommend the Havelock, the leading restaurant in the
neighbourhood.
I love this place! We come here every so often for a roast on Sunday, and it’s one of the best roasts ever! The service is speedy and great and the staff are really friendly. There isn’t a huge amount of ambience, but the food and service makes up for it! Would definitely recommend this special little place!
The food is amazing. The bread with butter was great. The pea soup had good taste, even it is served cold.

Their menu is limited and the food is not really pub food but it is a lovely pub with a garden and tables at the front.
We had Sunday roast and sat outside. The food was very nice and service friendly. We would go back.

We stay in this area of London every 2 or 3 years and we eat at this pub at least twice a week while we are here. It’s that good.

The havelock is showing signs of laziness. Needs to look after cask ales better and offer a broader range. I’ve never met anyone who likes Green King IPA. The service charge is too high when the customer pays at the bar. Food still good quality but fish needs to come with something substantial for the price not offered as an extra.
Service is great, very accommodating. Yummy bread. My Nan has been going to this pub for lunch for years, her health has stuffered over the past few years and they make her feel safe and welcome.
I have been coming here for over 20 years and I always like the ambience and service. My only complaint is that they don't do many vegetarian dishes so I often end up having the cheese plate or a number of side dishes of vegetables for dinner.

This is my favorite pub in all of London. The food never disappoints, there are always a couple of great cask ales on tap, and the staff is very friendly: they treat everyone like a local. Service can be a little slow at times when it’s busy but it’s such a great room it’s hard to care.
Really lovely neighbourhood pub. No frills food, which always hits the spot. Lovely service and added bonus of dogs wandering around inside.
I have eaten at this establishment four times, always on a Saturday lunchtime. It is excellent, and I am always pleased to return. The food is of a very high standard - it fits the designation "gastropub" very well. The range of craft beers has always been good, too. Very friendly service, obviously keen to make the customer happy. Highly recommended.
