We love this place.
Every time we come here we always have a very nice meal in a very nice atmosphere. The view is amazing and the venue is verily cosy
We always take here our Italian friends here for a meal every time they come and visit us here in Bath.

Never sit in the conservatory - no atmosphere, cold, loud.
Adjacent tables too close together.
Adjacent group consisted of three families against lockdown rules - poor policing by staff.

Great food, super polite staff, the French waiter who served us went above and beyond. The views are exceptional. A really lovely pub

Our third time to go here. Very nice food, got atmospheres, with Tier restrictions quieter than normal on our third visit. Staff are very nice and friendly, and very good Covid measures in place. Good for parking too!

We booked for Sunday lunch. It was a very safe and peaceful environment. We asked to move our original seat to a window seat which was no problem for the staff. We would book again.

Didn’t like the table in the conservatory overlooking the car park. Didn’t appreciate dogs being allowed in a restaurant albeit it was well behaved. Room was very noisy.
Carrots and sprouts were rock hard.
Hake was not a substantial meal, had to give half of mine to my husband who isn’t a massive eater.
Disappointing overall.

Worst meal ever in Bath. Very poor service, atmosphere and quality of the food is a disgrace. We tried again after two years not visiting but the disappointment was even worse than before.

Had a very nice meal on Sunday evening. We were not asked if we wanted a drink as we sat down. However, food was very nice as was the decor. The wrong food arrived but it was rectified promptly.
Would recommend and will definitely visit again.

Very nice but having been phoned prior to arrival to check we were all form the same household (which we appreciated), we were disappointed to see at least 3 groups that looked very unlikely to be from the same household. For example one group of 6 (3 young couples) arrived and sat together and were not challenged.

I’ve eaten here many times before and this was the first time i’d been back since March. The food was as expected- absolutely amazing and the staff were great as always.

Never been disappointed with a visit here and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed the meal, great selection, delicious food and the social distancing is the best we have experienced. The portions were generous. Parking was easy. Delighted we chose to go there.

Very nice meal. One of the best we’ve had for some time. Was very quiet but it was late Friday and Covid rules etc having impact.

Juan was brilliant, the food was delicious and the portions were spot on.

The menu was varied and something to suit all tastes. There was a good selection of wine. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Most importantly our dog was welcome and given water and a few biscuits

Roast pork: Good flavour, good mix of veg, skeptical about sprinkled crackling - obviously has to be dry - wasn't unpleasant however. Roasties were ok. I'd be after a better flavour and slightly more crisp...not sure the fat used, it could just be a case of slightly more salt, before roasting, to extrude the moisture and flavour the fat that little bit more.

I'm picking hairs on what was a good meal because it's ~£2 or £3 above average cost. Average price for an average plate would get a more favourable review!

The food was luke warm and gave the impression it had not been freshly prepared or cooked, rather it had been reheated.

Been 3 times recently and excellent each time. This time my mums 80th, just the 2 of us and meNt along that was special occasion and yet again, we were looked after so well and had a window table which was lively.

Enjoyed a return trip after visiting six years ago. Lovely pub, will definitely visit again as the setting was idyllic. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Absolutely beautiful location and food outstanding

This was just before lockdown 2, so we knew there would be a few things that weren’t as normal like the atmosphere etc. But it was lovely, great table by the window with amazing view, food was fantastic and dog friendly which is always nice too! Thank you!
