   Family adventure trip to Wyoming with a celebratory dinner at the Gun Barrel. Selections were buffalo ribs, NY strips and Cheyenne Tenderloin. Meals were good but took almost an hour to get served.

   When we made reservation, we were asked if it was an occasion. I said yes, our 62nd Anniversary. No one ever mentioned it at all at the restaurant. My salmon was served raw. It was replaced. But took a long time. My wife’s filet mignonette was raw also. We asked for medium. Also we ordered soft drinks and they were never refilled. Neither the water.

   Outstanding game type of meat. I really like the sampler with the venison, buffalo, and elk. Worth the trip if you are in Jackson.

   The food was amazing BUT the mens and womens restrooms were absolutely disgusting. You would think spending that much on dinner the restrooms would be just as clean as the restaurant itself. WRONG! And to think you walk in the same shoes back to your table as you did in that nasty restroom.

   We were seated almost immediately, and given water right away. Our waiter then came and took our drink order as well as our dinner order. Our food came out rather quickly and was cooked perfectly. It was very busy as we were ready for our check and did have to wait a bit to get check. Overall the food was amazing, service was awesome and will definitely return on my ext visit to Jackson Hole.

   Atmosphere was nice & my server was very attentive. However the problem was the food. My order came out undercooked ( ordered med rare & it came out blue rare) also the potatoes came out so salty, I couldn’t finish it. Maybe it was just a off night in the kitchen, but still disappointed.

    Everything was delicious., just the size the New York strip was kind of small size for the price with just the bake potato, and also if you can provide menu for the desserts to look at it, but everything else was delicious and good. Thank You....

    Super food and super service. Highly recommend this restaurant. Be prepared for about $75 per person BUT it is a tourist town and the meals are well worth it.

    I think because the 20% tip was automatic, it affected our server. He was ok but not someone I’d want again. Seemed irritated easily. Everything else was great.

    Elk just had way too much char on it. Too expensive. But, hey! You're in Jackson. So, 4 stars. Decor and loud noise was great. But, no such thing as more memorabilia in a place like this Staff was very friendly for Jackson.

    The decor is very Western unique with taxidermy animals adorning the walls. The menu’s hallmark meats are elk and bison. Good service and interesting ambiance make this restaurant special.

    We had the New York Steak. It was a poor cut of meat with quite a bit of fat and tendons. I honestly think it was a sirloin steak and not a New York.

    We really enjoyed the variety of dishes with game meats like elk, bison and venison. It was a perfect place to try these local dishes while visiting Jackson on vacation. We also enjoyed the western atmosphere.

    NYS Steak was supposed to be medium and was cooked well done. Waiter never came back to ask how everything was cooked. Everything else tasted mediocre. Back potato comes wrapped in foil, butter and sour cream only. Filet medallions were not the best flavor.

    The food was overpriced and poor quality. The NY Strip was so fatty and smokey and over cooked. It was also delivered 20 minutes after my daughter children's menu burger. That burger was the best food of the night. We will not be returning.

    Amazing food from a long time resident. Ive gone to the GB over the years and it was always good. This time was next level. The elk lolipops with huckleberry sauce, the bison ravioli, the creme brulee, everything was incredible! Thanks for a great dining experience for my kids 18th birthday! Cheers

    A nice stop for dinner, kinda touristy but that's what you expect at a tourist destination, I tried the Mixed game grill and it was really good, But $69.00 I don't know. Service was good and we didn't have any issues. Overall a nice stop

    We walked in w/out a reservation. They would only seat us at the bar or outside. We hurried and got online and mad a reservation for right then. All of a sudden they had available tables.🤷🏻‍♀️
