We were married at Bear Creek on August 3rd 2013. One of our favorite ways to celebrate is by coming back to Bear Creek on our anniversary and drinking champagne out of our wedding flutes. The staff at Bear Creek always does a phenomenal job and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We know these are weird times, but you still made our day feel special. Thank you!
I would like to Give 12 and 1/2 STARS . The Meal was just Absolutely Amazing ,Steak melted in your mouth, Shrimp was prepared Perfect!!
The Waited was Awesome No Complaint There!
I was just very disappointed with our Table Choice!
We were the ONLY people in the Restaurant??
And they had to sit us in the Hottest Chair and Table in the Whole Place??
we were ALONE.....Why did we have to sweat while we enjoyed 1 of the best meals of our Life?....Every thing was great but the Table!!
The Grille used to be our favorite “date night” location. We got married at Bear Creek, and it’s nostalgic for us. However, lately, it’s been completely overrun by people with little kids. We have two little kids of our own, and would have never thought to bring them to The Grille previously...in fact, we’ve always looked at it as a place to get a break from the little kid scene we’re usually relegated to as parents ourselves. It’s more like a “Friendly’s” now. Little kids were running around the restaurant completely unsupervised, and our sad little table for two out in the middle of the restaurant floor seemed to be where everyone thought to park their strollers...we were totally overrun. We’ll take our date night somewhere else, which is a bummer...we really used to love it there as our date night spot.
Food was not great, kids barely are their cheeseburgers. Charred on the outside and not appetizing. My chicken sandwich was just ok. Not worth the $100 we spent on sandwiches for 5 people
Great setting and the food is getting better... Wings were actually very good everyone enjoyed their main courses. Salad was overloaded with bacon.. Making progress....
Our table server was fabulous. However the 2 people working bar ( woman with glasses and top bun and guy with wavy hair who worked Sunday night were ignorant and mean. The guy walked head down and ignored people at bar who had money in hand to make table drinks. I left bar and sat at fireplace and asked the woman if I could place an order. She said let me put glasses down and I’ll be right back. She never came back. They definitely needed more help for the holiday weekend. Money lost on poor service
Used to give a small side salad with every entree, what happened?
Very good food. They took care to accommodate our vegetarian guest and food allergies. Wait staff paid special attention , food was cooked to order. We had to make several changes to a few dishes, and they handled with ease chef even make an off menu sauce for my daughter. Chicken dish was super tender. Cheesecake for dessert great.
I took my girlfriend out to The Grille on the Saturday after Valentine's Day for our first date in a while. We weren't truly expecting as much as we got, due to it being in a ski resort. However, from the very beginning, we were blown away by the service and quality of the restaurant. We were able to be seated half-an-hour earlier than our reservation and were swiftly met by Michael, our server for the night. Michael made the night go by very pleasantly, answering any questions we had with a smile. The food was truly amazing - my girlfriend couldn't stop talking about how good her gnocchi was. I would highly recommend coming to The Grille, and I definitely will be back.
Very nice and cozy for a special evening out. Fireplace was very nice and warm.
Bear Creek is always a winner and in our back yard. The kids went skiing while we ate. Will be back.
Food, service, atmosphere all great! It was extremely loud , but the filet mignon made up for it!!
It was great to have some terrific vegan options on the menu and they were all prepared excellently!
Will not be returning. Made reservations for window view for a celebration in advance and was placed in the corner. We were there 3 hours almost. Drinks were only refilled once and we left and went somewhere else because we couldn't get service. Staff seemed very young and was more motivated to socialize then work. I can find another place to spend 300 who cares.
Food was great and the first date went awesome! Desert was the best
We spent the day at The Spa at Bear Creek, which was fabulous. And then we decided to finish our day with dinner. The meal was very good. My date had the prime rib which was utterly delicious and I had the ribeye which was a bit too charred for my liking, but was still delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone at Bear Creek looking for a cozy dinner spot.
I was willing to ignore a lot from a restaurant at a ski resort. But once the entrees are north of 30, you have proclaimed yourself a serious restaurant. The food was not. Service subpar. Dirty plates were not cleared promptly.
Restaurant was super accommodating. The staff is lovely!
Took a very long time to get our drinks.
Still needs to up their game. Needs more seafood options and salad options. French onion soup needs fontina and Gruyere!!!! NOT CHEAP Mozzarella!!!!!
Ribeye was fatty.... hmmmmmm it’s just not what it could be!!! Sunday the bar was barely busy, 2 women behind the bar... I waited far to long to be addressed so I walked out to the main lodge and was served immediately at the drink station. Brought my drinks back in and sat with my family .... ridiculous.
Btw the appetizer/ bar menu needs more options as well.
The restaurant is nice, the view is incredible. So if you go for those items you'll enjoy it....the food not so much. The calamari looked like a small pile of left over fried crumbles, the carnitas on the tacos was soooo dry)
We have been to Bear Creek in several occasions..Tonight was a group of friends catching up and unwinding after the holidays..Great food..Great watching the action on the slopes, lots of activity! Always enjoy it here!
I ordered a Ribeye and it tasted of charcoal and was mostly fat. I expect Ribeyes to be on the fatty side but this was excessive. My daughter ordered a Filet and it was burnt and had zero flavor. For the price I expected so much h more. I ate at the Grille once last year and it was phenomenal. I had high expectations and was thoroughly let down.
Food was excellent, burgers, salad, fries and desert which was also terrific service was superior very attentive, environment is very nice ski lodge have been there many times and will continue to go back
I didn’t like our table at all. We were seated in a strange spot with a view of the door. We asked for a different table but were denied, the hostess told us they had no other table to give us. Seemed strange since the place wasn’t full. Food was good, but they need to bring back the meatloaf!
Nice evening chilling with my wife while my son snowboarded with friends. Really good service. Enjoyed a dinner of a few appetizers. Well made martinis.
Our server was great, but it took 1.5 hours to get our food. Food was good. They didn’t seem equipped for a large crowd.
Great meal. Server Phil did a great job. The restaurant is beautiful and we always like the food there.
Would have been better with more menu choices and special dining events.
Service was very slow.
One burger came out without the bacon and the burger was cooked rare vs medium (that was requested). The other burger was requested medium well and came out overcooked and dried out.
Overpriced for the quality.
Service and ambiance was nice. Menu was really lacking. Not enough variety.
Great outing with the extended family. Nice scenery. Food was superior. Service very attentive. We enjoy coming here. A favotite.
We very much enjoyed our dinner with friends the other night at Bear Creek. We enjoyed our meals, however the salmon was slightly overdone. Salmon should never be done medium or well, but always rare or medium rare. All in all however we had a great time.
It was our 30th Anniversary and we ate there two nights. Very beautiful. Great waiters. Excellent experience. Food was yummy!
Girls Night Out Christmas Celebration. Our close knit group of 8 women have been celebrating at The Grille at Bear Creek for years. We continue to do so because the food is fantastic, the ambiance is festive and the service is wonderful! Because of that we'll be back again next December to celebrate!
Other than asking for my fillet mignon to be medium rare and it come out well done overall experience was good I’m not one to complain that’s why I never said anything about my steak
We went for their Sunday night prime rib special. The salads had hardly any dressing, my baked potato was undercooked my order of medium beef came out medium rare to rare. I didn’t eat even half of my meal. I didn’t ask them to but they comped my dinner.
Bring back the Wild Shrimp Pasta dish. The replacement is just not the same. Good, but the Wild Shrimp pasta was awesome. Prefer the angel hair over the linguine.
