Set in a 1780 Pennsylvania Stone Farmhouse with deep windows and a warm pleasant atmosphere this is a family owned and operated restaurant that is recognized as one of the Best of Lancaster for dinner, Sunday Brunch, patio dining, wine list, atmosphere and romantic settings. Although our building is over 225 years old we update our menu daily! Change is a good thing at the Greenfield. We specialize in next day delivery of seafood while we continue to cut our own steaks. You will enjoy selections from our wine list that has been recognized by the Wine Spectator Magazine for over 9 years. Our patio and balcony over looking the bar is among our customers favorite requests for lunch and dinner seating, while the wine cellar has two of the most romantic tables in the area. Love this restaurant so much history.The former WhiteHouse Chef John came out of kitchen to talk to us .He is so humble and sweet .His restaurant is beautiful and food was spot on .Love that he uses locally harvested veggies grown here in Lancaster.Our new drive to spot from Northern Va.Worth every mile and his brother made us feel right at home also!!!Dont Miss this restaurant if you are in the Lancaster area!!!!!

Clean and pretty atmosphere. Very slow service, drinks were mediocre. Food was not flavorful, nothing special. It was like a boring country club dinner. Wouldn’t go back.

Food was very good Service was good when we arrived (the restaurant was quite "empty") but became erratic later on (around 7:00PM on a Friday night) Don't pay without checking the bill: We've "discovered" some "questionable" items on it when we checked it at home.

We were looking for someplace to go grab dinner before a show at the American music theater outside Lancaster. Greenfield fit the bill very well. Fairly quiet atmosphere, very good service and the food was very very good. We go to AMT often and will definitely be stopping back at Greenfield for a pre-show dinner.

Wait staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. The food was outstanding, atmosphere relaxing and the overall experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend the Greenfield to anyone and will certainly return when in the area.

Overall, this dining experience was disappointing. Despite numerous invitations, we were seated next to kitchen area. Our water glasses were dirty, and we had to ask for them to be replaced. The menu is very limited. The food was good, but not great.

Had the most amazing dinner last night to celebrate my sister's graduation. We were given a beautiful table in the Wine Cellar of the restaurants renovated 1790 farmhouse. Food, Drinks and Service was top notch. The Chef was a former White House Chef who served 3 Presidents. You must go. A definite gem.

Had dinner on April 26, 2022, party of four, with great expectations from former years visiting this lovely restaurant. We were all disappointed. The service was extremely slow, and it took a very long time for our three courses to come. Food was just OK. All appetizers were bland. Salad was as if from a package - dry and almost bitter. Pork was nearly tasteless. Catch of the day overcooked and dry. Steak was good, but that was the only one. So, after a long time sitting and a bill of over $300, we don't plan to return.

What a nice place. Paige did a great job meeting our needs with regard to drinks and food. The crab cake my wife got was good she liked the fact that there were no fillers. I had the salad and quiche and it was great. They even made me a mock-tail bloody mary. This is our second time here for lunch prior to a show at the Fulton. We need to get back for dinner. Great food and service from top to bottom.

We were attending a concert at AMT so we were looking for a local place that accepted reservations. Our table was ready, so we were seated promptly. Waiter was okay, but I have had better. Ambiance was great. Steaks were delicious, but would have liked to have had better options for the sides.

We were pleasantly greeted and seated. It was a pleasure to be served by an experience a waitress of nine years. The owners brother Brian stopped by and chatted with us relating his experience in New Orleans and his brothers experience as well as suggestions for meals. The waitress was most helpful in suggesting the various items. The meal itself and the desserts were delicious. They truly made it wonderful. We will return.

LOVED it here! I had made a special request for my Mom’s birthday, and they not only fulfilled the dessert request I made, but they gave her a birthday card that all the staff had signed! It made her day! Highly highly recommend. Not to mention to food and the service were incredible. Our waiter seemed to be serving everyone by himself AND working as the bartender, but he was still attentive, fast, and everyone he was serving seemed to be well taken care of. I don’t remember his name, but we definitely noticed his hard work. Whatever he gets paid it’s not enough. Well done everyone!

We didn't end up eating "high-top style", but we did eat at the other end of the lounge. It was a perfect evening, and the food was excellent. It was the first time my niece and I had seen each other in about 15 years.

Once again, an excellent evening! Our server (Chez) was attentive and friendly. The musician at the piano created a great ambience. We enjoyed a leisurely cocktail with our appetizer (calamari) followed by a welcome salad (a rarity these days in most restaurants) and the delicious fish special (mahi-mahi.) This is one of our favorite places to dine. Never rushed, always delicious!

You can always count on a wonderful dining experience at The Greenfield. The food is well prepared and service is excellent. On this particular visit, two of us enjoyed the crab cake special for lunch, and it was delicious. Hoping it may soon be back on the regular menu. We would love to see the Sunday Brunch return too.

Wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary and chose Greenfield Inn for convenience and past experience. Great service and atmosphere. Only food issue was the catch of the day fish was cooked a bit long and was dry. Wife’s pasta dish was nice.
