Restaurant was booked for a private event despite txt the day before confirming our reservation.
The restaurant never called nor Open Table - they said they informed Open Table.
Extremely disappointed - we were left with no place to eat on a Sundance busy evening night.
New Year’s Eve with the family
I was beyond upset when I showed up for my scheduled dinner reservation to a sign on the door that said “sorry but we’re closed” and I had received no other communication cancelling the reservation. I went back the following morning for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing.
Great spot for lunch!
It was great! Went with the family and enjoyed the experience. The food was wonderful. We did ask for house recommendations which I think made a big difference. We ordered things we would not have normally ordered based on their suggestions.
Great food! Be sure to try the deviled eggs ! It was quite noisy as a private party was being held in the bar area, but service was good and our group of 8 was happy to be accommodated on a Friday night with late notice. We would go back.
this is more a breakfast / lunch spot. I would not recommend for dinner
The Eating Establishment is an ICON of Park City, UT. The food is great and reasonably priced. It's great for breakfast, lunch and dinner especially if you're attending a performance at the Egyptian Theatre.
Mediocre at best. Last minute reservation as little else available. Must plan better in the future...
A few mess ups in the kitchen and not rectified with any speed. By the time my wife's meal was fixed the rest of the family was done eating. My 14 year old son ordered the French toast and was apparently given the kids portion and it was so small (one piece of bread for $9) we had to order again. On the bill we were charged for non existent bacon. Waiter very apologetic and comped one meal. But this was no one off incident, there are obviously bigger issues afoot in the management of this place.
Slooooow they don't seem to have enough kitchen or wait staff to cover the tables - everyone is running around but food seldom emerges!
Burger was over cooked. Service just ok Burger was over cooked. Service just ok Burger was over cooked. Service just ok
Great meal after a day of skiing. Very generous portions. I was able to take half my meal back to the condo to enjoy for lunch the next day.
Beware that the menu on OpenTable isn't the actual menu. The menu is completely different.
Great place if you want breakfast for dinner. Limited choices for dinner.
My girlfriend and I needed some good food after a long day of skiing, and this was a place I had wanted to check out. I'm not very picky and neither is she but it was all around a great experience.
Had dinner twice at TEE while on ski vacation. Nice menu with a variety of comfort food. Breakfast menu served all day, if you like that sort of thing. Had the Pork Hash and Salisbury Steak, both were excellent. Dinner there is less expensive than lunch on the slopes! Enjoy.
Food was not good, daily specials were already gone at 6pm, waiter tried hard but was busy and couldn't make up for bad food. Wine was overpriced. Nice looking place when we walked in, then all downhill from there.
nothing fancy, just the best value, best food, best fun on Main Street without going broke. Always like this place breakfast, lunch or dinner---energetic and friendly people.
Great food overall. Nice alternative to the "Park City Style" restaurant experience. Upscale diner. Breakfast all day! YES!
Really prompt service, gave us honest recommendations and were really helpful.
We picked EE out of the hat while staying in Park City. We were able to make a dinner reservation on line and didn't expect/know much. We were very pleasantly surprised. They serve breakfast all day so I had eggs on a wonderful vegetable hash and my friend had the fish tacos. Nice beer selection too. The layout of the space is such that one side is the "nicer" bar side - you have to be 21 to sit/eat there. The other side is "family-friendly" but doesn't have quite the same dining ambience. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend! For breakfast too!!
The Eating Establishment came highly recommended to us. I guess we should have gone for brunch. Dinner was okay. The chef is too heavy-handed on black pepper, which is not one of my favorite flavors, unfortunately. The waiter was too busy, so the maitre d' took care of us. All in all, we could have used a little more attention.
The value of the meal was not there..we were charged an extra $1.50 for cheese on a burger. It was a frozen patty.
THEY NEED TO RE-THINK THEIR DINNER MENU: FOCUS ONLY ON ITEMS THEY ARE CAPABLE OF PREPARING. MY ENTREE WAS INEDIBLE. OUR WAITER TRIED TO EXPLAIN IT AWAY AS NEW OWNERSHIP INSTEAD OF OFFERING ANOTHER DINNER CHOICE OR AT THE VERY LEAST TAKING IT OFF THE CHECK.
Had to walk out the service was so bad.
Interesting menu, tasty food and good service. Our table was ready for us at the reservation time.
Great casual dining experience across from the Egyptian theater.
