Excellent as always!! Chris, our server was the best!
Always good food and they are being very observant of safety rules during the pandemic.
Excellent Food
Excellent Service
Great atmosphere
Cute place with beautiful plates and decor, and the food was amazing! Rabbit pie, chicken and liver parfait!!! Everything is contactless - menu, paying bill, etc.
One of the best burgers of my life. Go for the burger, and the homemade ricotta as an appetizer.
Consistent in my experience. New outside tables which will be a great option for any occasion. Wish the beer selection was larger, but understandable that it is not during COVID.
Liver pate app is a must.
Amazing brunch, some of the best service possible! Highly recommend
Dandelion's atmosphere is really nice; I love the inside, and the outdoor huts for Covid are great. I used to love this place for happy hour, but just went during Covid and they do not have happy hour any more, which was disappointing. The food and cocktails are really great, but personally out of my price range (although I do think the value is fair if you like fine dining). Will be back if happy hour returns!
Excellent food. Confusing hours.
We had such an enjoyable COVID-safe lunch in one of their private outdoor dining pods - everything was great - service, food, weather.
Fantastic! Server was polite and patient. Overall great experience!
Lunch INSIDE with my daughter ended up in the Bar area which was in a straight line with the front door so that every time the hostess opened it to talk with prospective diners a blast of frigid air hit our table. Food was wonderful and this remains a favorite spot!
Quaint place, like dining in someone’s home.
The housemade ricotta appetizer with sourdough was tasty. Who doesn’t love sourdough? Would have liked a less creamy ricotta - more of a textured consistency is what I was expecting but the flavor was good.
The mussels were delicious! I honestly wanted to drink the broth. Very tasty.
The only downside to our visit was a table next to us with a little girl that had just had it with being out to dinner with her parents. She also kept falling banging her head on the wooden bench so that didn’t help with the screaming. Certainly the fsult of the restaurant, but not the energy we wanted to be around.
Overall, a cute place with pretty good good and service. Server was friendly and attentive. Good job all around.
Birthday brunch, my Father came in from out of town and my sister surprised me. Everything was fantastic. It was our first time there, definitely want to go back.
Great food and nice atmosphere
The food was great, however it was hard to enjoy due to the cold weather, our table was outside and they did not provide enough heat for us or our food. I would recommend any one to go for the food. However I would suggest to book for inside dining
The Dandelion was very nice! Service was great, our server was attentive & friendly. Drinks tasted great, food came out rather quickly, & it tasted delicious. Overall we enjoyed our experience there, & loved the ambiance!
It was freezing but everything was good. The heaters weren’t really close to us so we were pretty cold. I would only recommend this place if it was indoors after COVID-19.
Incredible food. Staff members are knowledgeable about menu items and dietary restrictions. The Burger is incredible. Great vibes.
This was my second time eating brunch at The Dandelion. My friend ordered the french toast and I had the English breakfast with a rose mimosa. Everything was delicious and we really enjoyed sitting in one of their heated outdoor houses. Our server was very friendly and quick. I am excited to come back!
It was a great dining experience...Yhe food was really good and worth the price...
We had a wonderful brunch in the outdoor cabin. Our server was knowledgeable and prompt. We loved all our dishes and were so cozy in the cabins! Can't wait to come back when we can dine inside!
The Dandelion is my husband's favorite restaurant in Philly. I took him there as a surprise for his birthday. All of the staff were great, food was amazing and (I think she was either a manager or supervisor) made sure everyone was seated 6 feet apart. She even politely asked me to switch the seat I was sitting in, as to give the table behind us the adequate 6 feet spacing. I was not offended at all. I was actually thankful and really appreciated her keeping an eye out like that. Some places don't take this Pandemic seriously enough, but the staff at the Dandelion do. Always a great time there, Pandemic or not.
We were there for our Valentine’s celebration and had a lovely time. Thank you.
The ricotta is a MUST. The fish and chips are incredible.
The Dandelion is one of our favorite restaurants in Philadlephia. Great food, great drinks. It really feels like taking a trip across the pond.
The outdoor setup felt safe and was quite warm. Great cocktail presentation. Plated a shared dish separately without us asking. The soup was delicious. Only complaint would be the time limit to our seating. Would have loved to stay beyond the hour and a half to have another drink!
Ate outside. Service and food were Perfect!
We had a wonderful lunch celebrating my husband getting his second Covid vaccine shot. We had a dining room on the third floor all to ourselves until almost the end of the meal. Adam took very good care of us. Bob loved his high quality hamburger and I thought the rabbit pie was amazing. Rich with mushrooms and nicely creamy. We will go back on a Sunday or another Bank Holiday to have the traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner.
Disappointing experience. The food and ambiance were their usual high quality, but the service and general caretaking were off. We had a late reservation, but a legitimate one. We were told we had to be out within 90 minutes, which is per COVID protocol, so fine. However, we were asked for last call 45 minutes after we arrived, dessert was brought before the main meal was finished, and the house lights were on a little more than an hour after we sat down, and we were asked to leave the building 10 minutes before out slot expired. No bread was offered, and when asked, we were told that they had run out. What restaurant runs out of bread? We were not walk-ins.
Overall, I felt as though the staff were trying to get on with their lives, and did not focus on delivering a first class experience to the diners. I understand that everyone wants to go home, but we had a legitimate reservation at a time the restaurant offered and the staff did not follow through on making the dining experience what I have come to expect from their team.
Note - I have been to the Dandelion many, many times, and this experience was an anomaly.
Lovely ambiance w excellent service - decent portion size for the money. Overall a nice casual place to take a date for V day
It was so good. The service was excellent and food was delicious. The steak tartare is out of this world.
Even with the time limit still set, it's enough to order a few rounds of drinks and some food. The service was quick so you didn't feel rushed, and the waitress was very attentive and honest with how much time "we had left". They are doing a great job considering we're still outside in the cold!
Just a fun time - we enjoyed the Sunday Roast, the steak frites, and a few of the cocktails. The "dog room" where we sat was quaint and funky.
Great brunch!!! The igloos were so warm and the food was fantastic.
Great Valentine’s Day brunch restaurant! We both ordered morning cocktails - a Rose Mimosa & Irish Coffee, I would have appreciated more brunch cocktail options but they were both yummy! We were sat in the dog room on the 3rd floor which we LOVED, such a great ambiance of dogs art everywhere! The breakfast menu was also on the smaller side but delicious! Thank you!
I had reservations for 10pm the eve of Valentines Day. Once we were seated, we were informed that the kitchen was closing at 10pm, therefore we had to order our entire meal, no extras or anything. We couldn’t get dessert because we didn’t decide at 10pm. We were told the reservation was for an hour and 30 minutes, yet they turned on the lights at 10:45... Never going back
Really cool atmosphere upstairs. Great food!
Great food and ambiance. Took me back to the good old days in London and eating out in a traditional pub. Sat on the top floor, bit cold, but really nice decoration. Could have done with mushy peas to go with the Fish & Chips and the draft beer selection was a bit more limited than I recall from previous visits. Will definitely go again.
Amazing food and service !
