Sunday was my wife’s birthday. She received special attention by staff including a complimentary Happy Birthday treat - chocolate dipped strawberries. Food was delicious and prepared to perfection.
A fine evening with Covid precautions in place.
The food was outstanding as was our server and assistant.
We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. With the pandemic, we chose to stay within Pennsylvania, and stayed at the Hotel Hershey.
The food and service were excellent, although a bit pricey. Overall, we had an excellent experience.
We appreciate the details of fine dining and The Circular never fails to deliver. The amuse bouche was outstanding; creative and delicious! Our dinners of Chateaubriand and the Ribeye were both prepared perfectly. As a couple we both enjoy cooking and my husband raved that this was the best ribeye he has had in a long time. Nate delivered great service and he was attentive, but not intrusive. All the staff were pleasant and professional. The exceptional ambiance at The Circular lends itself to a memorable experience and keeps us coming back! More than ample social distance between tables.

First time taking the whole family to The Circular; we were all very excited. The food took quite a while to arrive, for some reason; and my steak was to be medium but came out fully rare. Not to be deterred, the staff comped the steak and gave some other perks for the wait. Very surprised by their generosity. Food is always impeccable when we come, as is the service. It is nice they remedied the situation for us; obviously they weren't happy with it and they made it right. I'll be back for sure!
Oh, by the way, our kids LOVED the whole experience! Especially dessert!!
My wife and I come to the Circular Dining Room every Nov (her birthday), Dec (my birthday) and January (our anniversary). Over the years, our experience has varied. That said, this year made up for all the bad memories. The service was beyond EXCELLENT. Michael, our waiter, was superb. We had him two years ago and loved his relaxed, funny, and entertaining mannerisms. Our seating was intimate. We were seated away from others but still had a fabulous view of the outdoors. And the food - Crab Legs for her and Chateaubriand for me - were to 'die for'. We both highly recommend The Circular.
Not much to say. It is The Circular at Hotel Hershey. Server went to another eatery in the hotel to get me a Yuengling Chocolate draft. Food was delicious.
We typically love the circular but this time although our server was great and very attentive the food was lackluster and bland. I had King Crab Tagliatelle which was fishy and the texture of the crab meat my rubbery. My husband had the pork which was basically flavorless. We were very disappointed with this visit.
The blonde female manager was at the door. She really wasn't friendly from the start. I ordered a $46 crab pasta which was very small and over priced. It did not come with salad or bread. I just asked for one piece and the mgr said no I had to buy a loaf for $6. I did not feel like a valued customer. Love the chef. He stopped over. The dessert was very good.
Good food! Great birthday service every year! We look forward to celebrating there!
Was told by server the Lobster Pot Pie was 1.5 pounds of lobster for $55, which is reasonable for the restaurant. It turned out to be one claw and half a tail with peas and mashed potatoes served room temperature. Very deceiving.
Excellent dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Salted caramel bites at the end of dinner are the best.

Because of Covid protocols, table orientation was a bit strange but under the circumstances, okay. Service was excellent as was the food. Celebrated our anniversary here. Since it was the last day of Hershey food week, there was a reasonably priced prix fixe menu.
We were there for Hershey Restaurant week. The service was wonderful. We missed not having bread. Presentation was outstanding. We have enjoyed our visits to the circular.

The ambience was the highlight. Everything else was average based on the price, which we thought was high ($38 prix fixe - each) for the Dining in Hershey Week. The waiter was very good but the other staff seemed like they were new to the industry. Almost like some of them were interns?
The experience was absolutely perfect for our engagement dinner. So pleased with everything and treated really well. Highly recommend.

So missed dinner at the Circular during the pandemic. We attended during Hershey restaurant week. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I especially enjoyed the pear and warm brie salad as a starter. Love the signature chocolate martini.

Excellent experience during Restaurant week. Food was great and customer service was above the norm of what you would expect. I had the hanger steak with pome frites and my friends had the scallops. Both entrees were great! We also had the lobster bisque and peanut butter pie for dessert which was out of this world. 3 courses for $38 which is a great deal. Hershey Hotel is gorgeous.
We are lifelong Hershey residents and remember The Circular when it was special. It's not as special anymore. The last two times we've been disappointed. Before Covid I ordered a filet that came out completely burned or scorched. They made another one that wasn't much better. I had to cut all of the outside off to be able to eat it. The food was better this last time but when I asked for bread it had to be ordered and there was a charge.
We went to The Circular after learning about Restaurant week in Hershey. We chose this restaurant because of the menu options that were offered and we were not disappointed. We were provided excellent service and the servers were very mindful regarding Covid regulations. The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every last bite. We ordered all 3 options from each course because we couldn’t decide on just 2. We will definitely go back!
The dinner was very good. The desert was not. When this was mentioned to the server his comment was sometimes the deserts are better then others. It should have been taken off the bill.
Beautiful evening out.... circular never disappoints... I had the lamb which was cooked perfectly ....husband enjoyed the hanger steak as it was restaurant week! Always a special experience!

We were there for restaurant week, and the prices and portions were very good. The food is always wonderful, and their Lobster Bisque is a wonder
We have dined at Circular for 20 years, and gone thru their many changes in that time. It was once considered very upscale (for Hershey), in every restaurant aspect: service, price, ambience, dress code, extra touches, etc. Today, although the food is still excellent, I would rate Circular as just a nice restaurant, but overpriced. Our server was friendly and willing, but perhaps had too many tables to take care of, because service was slow —and his “helpers” seemed bored and disinterested . No doubt the current health crisis has had a negative effect on Circular’s operation. Too bad!

The meal was outstanding. Chateaubriand was perfect and the Veal stew the same. Arugula and beet salad provided a nice side dish.

Other than the food it was not an outstanding experience. It had just reopened due to Covid restrictions. However they were out of many spirits and beers. So drinks on the menu were not available. Also desserts on the menu were not available. Our server said they were using inventory left from when they closed for the pandemic and no new inventory was purchased . So they should not list on the menu things that are not available. Also very bleak with no tablecloths just bare wood tables. One would think a 5 star restaurant would at least have tablecloths. Even in pandemic one would think tablecloths would be safer than bare wood tables because they can be washed in hot water. Wiping down a table top doesn’t guarantee no virus. But the meals all were fabulous which saved the evening to a degree.
Prices have increased due to covid capacity limitations which may make you think portions should be larger, but quality and flavors are fantastic.
The chicken breast was dry. They changed the type of chocolate soufflé they have. It was very bitter. We liked the old version much better. The waitress was fine but very unenthusiastic. Not up to its usual high quality.
