The Carlile Room
The food complements the ambience or vice-versa. Had the best vegetarian 3-course meal with a champagne toast on the house. I also tasted one of their cocktails and it was pure vanilla. Highly recommended and smartly prized
We went for breakfast and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!
We USED to love the Carlile Room, especially brunch. We decided to meet for dinner on a colder Saturday night. When we arrived, a few minutes late, we were told our table was not ready THEN since there is no standing room, to wait OUTSIDE... What?!? Forget the winter months! Plus we were asked not apologetically ( we're so sorry, have a glass of wine on us.. etc.) sort of demanding. Luckily the wait was doable... the very soft spoken server was sweet yet very hard to understand in the high noise level. My sis and I split the cheese platter and the veggie bounty. The later was five similar salads ( differing veggies yet more on the goopy side). Server portrayed more of a platter of veggies with sauces. Her husband order the cheeseburger- it was so greasy with the cooking fat destroying the bun. My hubby order the celery root salad ( swimming in butter) yet he enjoyed. His chicken was ok yet not spectacular. Would we return? Not with this menu.. you lost us for now.. hope you come to your senses sooner than later,,,
Outstanding! Very personalized attention for my Birthday Brunch!!
Fantastic experience, food, service for my wife and her friend before a show at the paramount this week. They raved about the vegan friendly dining and amazing wine. Can’t wait to return with her and enjoy it myself.
Casual great food and excellent service. Many menu choices for the vegetarians too, happiness all around!
Great food and fun atmosphere! The Carlile Room offered lots of vegetarian options and lots of flavor. Our server Melinda was awesome.
Great pre-theater option!
We had the rainbow vegetables to start...5 different dishes of very creative dishes highlighting a different vegetable...super-delicious, even my teenager was eating it. The price point for the bottles of wine was an excellent value. The location can't be beat if you're going to a show at the Paramount. We'll be back!
Service overall in Seattle is not great but this was awful. The waitress was RUDE and it took our party of 6 50 min to get a round of drinks. Then 4 of us stayed for dinner (the reservation I made) and it took another 45 min for dinner to be served and we had already reviewed the menus. The server rolled her eyes and pulled the menus out of the hands of one of the people when she asked for a certain Bourbon that they didn’t have. AWFUL
I had the best biscuits and crazy using Impossible meat. Great quality of food, very creative. Cocktails were fantastic. Just a fun place to go.
Just a perfect dining experience before a show at the Paramount Theatre. Great service, great food, great value.
Delicious food in a hip setting. Lovely Saturday brunch!
Such creative and unusual combinations, everything just delicious!
We went to dinner after a matinee at the Paramount and were early for our reservation. They accommodates us without a hassle (party of 5). The service was great and the food was wonderful. We look forward to going back again soon.
Service was really slow- it took about 20 minutes just to get our drinks (a diet code and a cider on tap.... not even a mixed drink). Only refilled my husbands Diet Coke once and never asked me if I wanted another drink. Service was slow and absent most of the time.
Started with the beets and the chips and dips. Beets were great. Chips and dip was way too salty.
For dinner I got that braised brisket- it was short tough and down right hard in some spots. Grits were good and the Star was the pickled mushrooms. But it was a brisket dish and the brisket failed.
The table we were sitting was along a long booth- one side was sunken down and the chairs on the opposite side were too high so I loomed over my husband. Just wasn’t comfortable.
Overall it was a meh experience and I wouldn’t return. At least the pricing was really great.
Great food, good drinks.
Great service, great food, very convenient for paramount theater.
Our server Danny was outstanding! Very pleasant but not fake, attentive but not over board, and super considerate....perhaps the best waiter my wife and I have experienced in a very long time.
I do have say, everyone on staff was super professional and attentive.
The food was very good, consistent with Tom Douglas restaurants....and being during Restaurant Week a great value. The portions were ample and presentation spot on....it was a treat.
We had a very friendly server, but it was loud in there and the food was just OK. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium and I got a rare steak. The vegetables I go with my steak were disgusting, I'm not even sure what it was but it did not taste great. The dessert was worth it though, the caramel apple trifle there is good.
The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! It's an excellent option for Seattle Restaurant Week!
Outstanding in every way. Kudos to Erin for being such a wonderful hostess
Fantastic experience. Our server was warm and friendly. Food came out quickly as we were seeing a show at the Paramount.
Absolutely delicious! Went for brunch on Sunday and had the waffle sandwich and I can't explain how perfect it was. My sister had a goat cheese crostini with pistachio pesto. Both of our meals were delicious! The service was just as perfect. Can't wait to go back to Seattle and dine at the Carlile again!
This was my fourth visit, at least, to The Carlile Room. The food was delicious and the service was very good with just enough attention but not bothersome. I had heirloom tomatoes with basil and pistachio and coho salmon. The restaurant is quite noisy.
The Carlile Room has delicious food and a lovely ambiance. Dinner was a great overall experience!
A group of us met at the Carlile Room before a concert at the Paramount. Could not have been handier - just a dash across the street. Didn't eat dinner but drinks and light fare. I had the beet salad which was absolutely delicious with the beets, quinoa, nectarines, hazelnuts, goat cheese. What a great combo! Thank you for a great meet-up location and good food and service.
Best food and best service as usual!
It was not our first time to The Carlile Room and it definitely won't be our last. Every aspect of it is always exceptional and incredibly unique. Volume can become a little over the tp, especially on weekends, but it has not hindered our experience yet
Our server was rude and very unfriendly. She cut me off when I tried to ask a question and walked off.
Food is outstanding! Service was very good as well! We went before a show at the paramount. It was perfect t! Also very good cocktails♥️
Great food and service!
Having dinner at the Carlisle was well worth the trip from Maple Valley. I've been telling all my friends how great the food was/is. Can't wait to go back.
Early breakfast, service was really quick and food good looking beside really tasty.
Food & service were excellent! The duck fat hushpuppies were amazing!
The bread and the pie were amazing! I might go to Dahlia Bakery instead to get an entire pie.
Great food; great service. Would recommend going a bit earlier to get the pre-show special.
We had a fantastic Anniversary dinner here. Our server was lovely! The food and cocktails were so good. They put a nice Anniversary note on the table and treated us to dessert.
Can’t wait to go back.
We had an amazing time! Food and server were great! Easy to book table online and they had everything ready when we got there for a surprise birthday dinner. Thank you!
