The Blue Fish - Greenville Ave
Food was awesome as usual but this is the first time that I have had subpar service. I’m not sure if they were short handed but I was very ☹️ disappointed.
Great quality, selection, and service. Try the wasabi caviar if you're feeling bold.
They need a sushimi platter with mixed fish... Like every other sushi place on planet earth
Food was good. Ordered a hot meal, 2 pieces of sushi and a couple of rolls. Hot food and sushi arrived quickly, tools took another 15 -20 minutes so was not able to eat at the same time as my guest.
The food was good but there were huge gaps in the service at times which meant the three of us did not eat at the same time. Would try again, perhaps an off night?
The staff was great and the food was absolutely superb.
I had not been to Blue Fish in about 2 years - both my husband and I were disappointed. The rolls were just okay. The only thing that had any flavor were the stuffed jalapeno's. We had the samurai roll, and we had the volcano roll (which normally has a lot of flavor) - after that we generally see how much room we have to order the last roll, but we we so disappointed, that we did not order anything else. The sushi is so expensive - so sad - I guess that was our last visit. Such a bummer for us, as we really used to like Blue Fish.
We are always impressed with The Blue Fish. Excellent food.
They were out of the first 2 items we ordered. Waiter seemed a incompetent and spoke so soft we could not hear him. Food was not fresh nor flavorful
Love Blue Fish! Sushi is delicious and fun atmosphere!
Wonderful cool food on a hot day. Friendly, attentive service. Will definitely go back
Sushi was very warm and fishy tasting, like unfresh and held over...
Was expecting a lot more from this restaurant which I’d heard was excellent. Presentation needs a lot of work.
Food was awesome!!!!!! Drinks were great!
We all had something different and we all enjoyed our meals.
Great sushi as always!
Easy to get in and out. Service was quick. Good was very good and fresh!!!
The Blue Fish in off of Greenville Avenue is a great place to start your evening if you want hang out and do multiple things in one area. The dishes and ambiance are very good. For this particular night even though it was raining everyone seemed upbeat. They called to confirm my reservations and it was a good time for me and my spouse.
Great restaurant! Our server was great and did a really good job with recommendations, it was our first time there.
Server seemed to forget about the drinks and our sushi rolls were served before drinks. My husband got his steak and finished it before the kids bento box came out for our hungry 2 year old. It was my birthday and no acknowledgement was made. I had a $10 off birthday certificate on my phone/email which can usually be used pretty discreetly. The manager came over and said it needed to be printed so could i email it to her to print to staple to the receipt. All in all a good birthday meal, but the service left much to be desired.
Phenomenal. Great food, great waiter, fast service and perfect location.
It was terrible
Should have realized when the place was less than half full on a Saturday night that we were in for a mediocre time. Food was disappointing. Staff was super friendly but forgetful: promised refills that never came and served food with no utensils or plates so we had to improvise. We're a laid back group, and we went with the flow because we wanted to have a good time. I'm writing this review so the restaurant knows where it can improve.
The food was fantastic and the patio area was awesome.
Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and good sushi for the price.
We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. The food came out quickly and did not make for a leisurely dining experience. The watermelon drink was not very good. Okay sushi place.
Service was inattentive. Not what I usually experience. Had to request utensils, drink refills slow and order was delivered incomplete
Good was great! We had a mix of hot & cold fishes, so the hot food came a bit later than the sushi. We had to remind our waitress of a couple of missing hot dishes. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.
Good location if you want to have a nice dinner prior to an event at The Granada, as I did on a Sunday night. I would imagine a reservation is a must on a busier night. My first time to this particular location and the quality and quantity of food was consistent with my experiences at the Las Colinas restaurant.
Great experience. Very busy but food and drinks came fast! Awesome wait staff.
Remove the lemon pits from the lemon before serving in the drink or food
Additional Perk would be to have a cover under my plate for spills that gets removed in between meals
weird setting but the food was good. moderately expensive for a random night.
Waitstaff not very attentive. Food good as always.
Took my husband out for his birthday Saturday night. I made a reservation prior and mentioned in special notes it was his birthday but they did nothing. Server seemed annoyed and it was just sub par. Many better sushi places in Dallas.
Food was good. Very noisy. Service was spotty. The place was busy but not packed. Everyone was friendly but impression was that they were understaffed for the evening.
The service was quick and attentive. Great time. Will be back.
Although I made my reservations through Open Table, the hostess at Blue Fish did not have me on the reservation list. Other than that, my husband and I had a great night there. The food and atmosphere were really good. I would have preferred other music than techno playing though.
Effecient service, incredible quality, music low, high attettion to detail, clean bathrooms and again, the quality of the sushi was superb. Well worth the 1 hour drive, we will be back asap!!!!
The food was great per usual. Ive gone to the Greenville Ave location many times and always have a awesome experience. Sadly, this past experience wasn’t so great. It was really pack but that’s expected on a friday night. My waitress was definitely busy and took fooorrreevveerr to attend our table. I’m not one to make a big deal but sseisouly she was slow. I don’t know if it could of been the amount of tables she had but i knew she kept forgetting us. We ordered 1 drink each. Instead she sent us a bottle of wine. That probably took a good 20 minutes just waiting on drinks to be corrected and another 20 just waiting to place an order. Then we get our food but no silverware. We had to wait and flag her down eventually so we could eat. I just hate that i couldn’t enjoy my conversation because all i did was wait for my waitress to flag her down. I love Bluefish food and have never gone through this but i do hope they get more staff on busy friday nights.
Our server Ashley was really great. She was patient and polite. The other person in my party was a rather picky eater, but she made suggestions and accommodations. She along with the food made for a really great experience.
