Great food and service every time!
We enjoyed our dinner so very much!
Always a great meal. Quality food. Attentive service.
Brian was amazing ! Food was great ... EXEPT . They sat us at table for 4 which we were very comfortable at being there was only 2 of us .... we loved it and ordered about $320 worth of food , truffle this , oyster that all the good stuff which tasted amazing .... as we were eating someone rudly came out of no where and took all our food off our second table and put it on our small table to re Arange tables in Resturant ...... they could’ve just sat us at a table of 2 from the start . Brian was amazing and looked sad for us but I guess it was ordered by the management or the higher up staff . Not like we were occupying 2 tables and ordered 1 drink
We literally ordered 3 appetizers 2 entres and 3 sides
Food was amazing in general ! Don’t make people comfortable and then when main courses come out, re arrange there tables .
First time dining. I was looking for a Rib Place.
Hostess and Bartender were courteous, and obliging.
Waiter and serving staff were also polite, attentive, and we were not rushed nor waiting too long.
Octopus appetizer was one of the best I’ve tasted.
Ribs were good, and I would order them again.
Sides were inventive.
We will be returning shortly.
No pun intended.
Great food and service. We love it there! Bacon app is a must.
Music was very loud!
Everything was excellent and exceeded expectations!
The servers were attentive, informative, and super hospitable! We came for my Husband’s Birthday dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious. The food came out pretty quick & the staff was so attentive. They did a wonderful surprise Birthday dessert with a candle. It was memorable!
We had an amazing night thanks to the amazing staff and delicious food. We will definitely be returning!
Thank you for a wonderful evening!!
This was our third time to BBG. IT was a quiet Sunday night. Maybe 2-3 tables were full. Our waiter came over to us to take our drink order. We had to ask for their famous garlic bread and numerous times for water and condiments (fresh pepper). BUT it wasnt the end of the world, and as usual, our steaks were delicious and the sides were very good. We will def be back.
I didn't love it. This was my second time here and they messed up my steak which was supposed to be in a blue cheese crust. 15 minutes after receiving my steak they brought me a side of crumbled blue cheese. Yeah, thanks what am I supposed to do with that? Baked clams and lobster mac and cheese was fishy as if it wasn't fresh. Food is average, nothing special.
Our family loves steak houses and we've certainly been to our share. But the first time I went to the BBG, it was just with my husband and I. I knew we'd have to return with our children and their husbands. They were not disappointed! Everything from the second you get into the bar right up to the end with their delicious selection of desserts leaves you counting the days until you can return. The filet mignon crostini appetizer is delicious. We also had some wedge salads, onion soup, the bacon slab and crab cakes. All wonderful. Half of us ordered the burger (I had it with the blue cheese fondue!!!) and the other half went traditional with filet mignon. Everyone was thrilled with the choice. Yummy sides too! And just when I thought we couldn't possibly fit one more thing, the waiter brought over the dessert menu. The 6 of us split the chocolate tower and the apple turnover! I had a martini adffogato, which is basically an ice cream martini! Who thinks of these things?!?!? The geniuses at the BBG. I"m glad we found them!!
Visited with whole family. Prompt service and outstanding meats. Excellent cooking and prompt service.
Fantastic food and great service that never rushed us.
I was disappointed when there was only one kind of beer on tap. To me that's one of the many reasons to go to a restaurant. I can have a bottled beer at home.
The appetizers (fried calamari and zucchini) were very good. The garlic bread was great, too. However, we ordered the "porterhouse for two" and were asked how we wanted it done. We didn't want it "gray" but didn't want it bleeding, either. Something in-between. Unfortunately the steak came to the table quite gray with just a little bit of red showing. It was also quite tough - I had trouble cutting it with my steak knife. We should have asked for another steak. Particular since it cost over $100!
The sides that we ordered - onion rings and mushrooms - were fine, but the overdone, tough steak ruined the overall meal.
Next time I will just stay home and grill may own steak and drink my own bottled beer. And save a lot of money.
didn't wait long for table with resv. food was great. steak house prices. a little confusion with getting drinks. ran out of a tap beer and had to wait for drink. food came out quickly. all was delicious. will definitely go back.
I was a bit apprehensive because there were complaints about the size of the restaurant or the wait (even with a reservation), but I’m so glad we chose to visit for Valentines Day!
There was no wait. We had a reservation and our table was ready within 5 minutes. Our server Ray was amazing. The service was great. He had a firm grasp on the menu, was personable, eager to help, and just seemed like a really great person. A+ to whoever hired him. If I had a restaurant, I would want to poach him. His service was THAT good. Also, everyone was welcoming and helpful, from the maitre D to the busboys.
Now the ambiance, the restaurant is by no means small. The photos online only picture one side of the space. The decor is really chic and the overall vibe is Hamptons meets NYC.
Now the food: everything was delicious and the portions were sizable. So, yes, it is not cheap, but you will certainly have leftovers. Everything was also served hot, which I loved. No lukewarm food here. We ordered:
Appetizers: giant meatball (amazing. The best we’ve had anywhere) and the shrimp tempura (this was also very good). There is also a free garlic bread with dipping sauce that is pictured in a lot of reviews that apparently on certain nights (like Valentines Day) you have to request it. I asked Ray about it, after we finished our meal because I was curious why we didn’t get any. And, of course, because he’s awesome, he gave us some to go.
Mains: NY strip with Oscar add-on (temperature was as requested. Truly tasty and plenty of crabmeat). Lamb chops (this was divine).
Sides: mashed potatoes (wonderful) and truffle fries (equally wonderful)
We ordered cocktails and they were strong and good. No watered down drinks here.
We didn’t have room for dessert, so I can’t weigh in there.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed, would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Always delicious! Amazing service!
Beautiful Valentine’s Day dinner! Food was excellent
Everything was top notch! From the attentiveness of the waiters to the special birthday surprise they gave my husband, I would definitely come back and recommended to anyone who wants a great dining experience. The food was also amazing. The porter house was cooked perfectly. Hats off to the chef!!
Nice service and ambiance. Very pricey!
We were there on a Monday. We ate at the bar. Great Drinks! Great Food! Great service!
Food is great, service was really superb. It feels expensive for Williston Park but I have enjoyed all my visits and I have never been disappointed.
The service was amazing and so was our meal.
Excellent pork chop Murphy style and app’s
Expensive but worth it
Had an amazing time, was not crowded, the drinks were great ,the food was incredible, wonderful night overall, service was very friendly, thank you again for a great night on my wife's birthday
Food was great. Waiter and bus boy friendly and attentive. Very nice ambiance. There was a party of about 8 across from us .... they were a little loud
The service wasn’t great, took a long time for each course. Drinks weren’t great. Good average, overall I wouldn’t go back.
Went for a nice lunch with my son. Filet was excellent and cooked perfectly.... Kobe beef hamburger was well worth it.... had wanted to get there for awhile.... very happy I did....
We came for an early dinner for 4 and had our pick of tables.
We shared a calamari to start and it was delicious, especially the wasabi dipping sauce.
Each couple shared the 22oz boneless ribeye and we had 3 sides for the table. They sliced the steaks for us in the kitchen and they were perfectly cooked. Loved the roasted beets! Our server was very good!
By the time we were ready to leave the place had filled up and gotten quite noisy. The valet service is very convenient!
Food was excellent and portions sizable. Services was also very good.
Terrible food that is way overpriced. Steak was extremely fatty, creamed spinach had way too much garlic in it, even humus managed to not have flavor. If you want steak, go to a real steak house.
Went for my friends birthday was great treated her so special.
Love BBG! Burgers are the best. The sides are a bit expensive but overall it’s terrific!
The steak was not done as we requested. The sides did not come out with the meal
The ambiance, service and food was very good. The price was right there with other Steak Houses. Our server was very nice and gave us time in between each part of the meal. I had petite filet mignon and my wife had lamb chops. As an appetizer we had octopus which was cooked extremely well. Over all I would recommend this restaurant to any one who wants a good steak.
Cancelled our reservation to celebrate a college graduation twice without ever offering an explanation or giving us a call to inform us. Complete lack of professionalism. I couldn’t wait to try this place, but now that desire is completely lost.
Neighborhood gem! Always a fun night out with excellent food and atmosphere!
The steak was not fit for a dog. Octopus and sides were great. The service was great; they took back the steak, replaced with lamb chops with No charge. They tried very hard to make it right. However, you cannot fix poor quality meat and tasteless lamb chops.
Very confused - fancy setting, expensive pricing but dance club lights and sparklers for birthdays? Is it nice or tacky? Ordered the filet mignon risotto and found a piece of plastic in my meal. They removed the dish from the bill and a round of drinks and the bill was STILL $150. For the price, I would’ve expected everyone involved to be paying more attention and care to our experience. For example, the waiter did not know the menu nor the alcohol list, and there were no specials.
