I love this restaurant and have been going for years. Everything is good. One thing is seating. I think that given we are older it's important not to seat a large table of noisy guests right next to us given the fact the restaurant was really quite empty. I know restaurants like to seat people all in one area to keep it looking busy but the noise factor then becomes an issue. Just more discretion please on who is seated where. otherwise very happy.

I was pretty disappointed, first time going and it was for my girlfriend birthday. We sat outside and on the tiniest table, there was a bigger table that someone was about to set for us but then the host stopped them because it was for another reservation and this was at 8:15 so less than an hour before they close. Sat at the tiniest table and had to play Tetris to make space for our food and drinks. No one was ever sat at the bigger table that they didn’t want to give us . Had to go to the host and remind them it was my girlfriends bday even thought I put it in open table then the server stood by us awkwardly while she got her cake and stayed there to give us the bill rather then let us enjoy the moment so we felt like we were being rushed to leave. Overall a bad experience at a nice restaurant, won’t be back ever or at least any time soon.

I have been going to Teru Sushi since 1979. It has always been great and they serve top quality sushi. The crowd is always great. It has survived owner change with no lowering of quality. It is our go to sushi even though we no longer live in the area. We always stop in on our way to Hollywood to see a play. You won't be sorry giving this restaurant a try.
