Terra Plata never disappoints. The menu is creative, the food fresh and delicious! Cannot recommend it enough! One of Seattle’s best.

The food, drinks, staff and ambiance was fantastic!!! Outside of the very salty side salad and the pavlova our dinner at Terra Plata was perfect!
Mushroom hash brunch was great! And the drink selection was solid. I loved the unique shape of the building and rooftop dining area. It’s also in a fun area of Capitol Hill with tons of shopping and bars nearby. It’s the perfect start to a fun day in Seattle!
The place setting was cozy and perfect. I would love to go there yet again. The bartender was kind enough to make a drink which I had seen on the menu sometime back but not on Valentines day menu. And it was amazing!!!
The house-made chips with chive cream was so delicious. I ordered the beet rigatoni and my date ordered the quail. Both were cooked to perfection and the presentation was excellent.
Would definitely recommend this place for a date night.
Terra Plata is the best dining experience in Seattle. Excellent food and always dependable, top-notch service. It’s my No. 1 recommendation for guests from out of town, visiting Seattle.
We were a party of three and came for lunch on Feb. 14th (Valentine's Day.) We were greeted very warmly by the hostess and shown our table. Our server arrived soon after and explained the restaurants farm to table concept and answered questions from the menu. Two of us had the steak salad, meat cooked perfectly as requested and found it very delicious. The other had the Moroccan sandwich and was quite satisfied. Tanna, the Chef came out and talked with us and was a delight. How she had time to visit with us, I don't know as they were expecting a huge Valentine's night. Tamara, as busy as she was with the opening of a new restaurant and the big evening ahead came to the table and talked with us. The three of us are or were Chefs so are particular about our food and found the whole Terra Platta experience to be outstanding. I am already making plans to come back for dinner. What a great restaurant to represent our City. Thank you Tamara and staff!
Interesting food. High end prices. Not overpriced for quality and the vibe is "high end casual". Very Seattle
The service was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday at brunch, and they asked for the birthday guest’s name to print out custom menus with a personalized birthday message. They also brought out a free dessert with a candle at the end. Very much appreciated all the nice touches to make the day special.
As for the brunch food, it was fresh and delicious, but almost too decadent. We tried the Brussels sprouts, biscuits, churros, burger, Dutch baby, mushroom hash, and lamb hash. We dined family style, sharing between 8 people. The amount of food was perfect for our group.
The sprouts, Dutch baby, and churros were highlights. The burger was a good restaurant burger, but personally I feel like burgers are not that hard to match or beat as a home cook. The biscuits were average, though the spreads (butter and preserves) were excellent; butter was smooth and airy, and the preserves were balanced, not too sweet or sour. The hashes were both quite buttery, and honestly I couldn’t taste much of a difference between the two. Neither the mushrooms nor the lamb were dominant flavors in their respective plates. Both tasted like buttery potatoes with the occasional burst of umami. Their decadence exhausted my pallet; after tasting these and switching back to other dishes, I felt underwhelmed, and everything just tasted like butter.
All in all, the restaurant provided an excellent experience for our special occasion, and they do make great food, but I’m not antsy to try the brunch menu again. I’ve been for cocktails before and have loved the drinks, and the ambience of their rooftop patio, so I will definitely be back when it’s warmer and would like to try their dinner.
Great service and even better food. The octopus took us back to our honeymoon in San Sebastián. We will be back.
On a recommendation fr we went for mixed Paella on a Monday night. and it was wonderful! All the ingredients were cooked exceptionally well . It was seasoned somewhat subtly which made it possible to appreciate the flavors of the different components. My sIgnature cocktail , Seattle Raindrop, was a tad pricey but delicious. They had an extra unclaimed order of brussel sprouts that they brought to our table for free. My friend who dislikes brussel sprouts loved them! I thought the tahini gelato was interesting but I wouldn't order it again. If halvah and gelato had a baby, that's what it would taste and feel like in your mouth. If it were on my block and I had unlimited funds, I would go there a couple of times a week. I want to try nearly everything on their menu! And it's a very attractive. comfortable environment.
The food was super, super delicious. The wait staff were attentive, kind, and informed. The music was a little loud, but the playlist was on point.
We made an 8pm reservation at about 6:30pm for a special occasion here, and not only were they able to accommodate us, but they printed the day's menu with a special note for our special guest! The food was outstanding, and we ate our faces off. They are smaller plates, but the dishes are rich and flavorful, and the entrees are substantial and still suitable for sharing. Excellent cocktail program as well. Would definitely go back!
Way too limited menu....I looked at menu online, but thought menu changed with food available. Staff were friendly, service was fine...maybe consider adding a chicken dish and more farm to table salads.
Our meal was creative and delicious. We shared small plates and were not disappointed. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
I loved the food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere. I docked them on price not cause the food isn’t worth the money but because people should know it’s a pricier restaurant before going. It’s worth the money if you want to have an excellent date night, the ingredients are super fresh and very local.
We totally had a horrible experience from service to the food it was very disappointing our first waitress was Soo unbelievably rude we could tell she hated us then she sent over another waitress to deal with us and she was actually very good she had curly hair and was from Kentucky was 1000 times better then other female with long light brown hair with large eyes . Definitely wouldn't recommend or go back.
We have recommended Terra Plata to several friends and family. Another great evening with delicious food and excellent service. WE had beet rigatoni which was tasty but some felt a little spicy. at least deserving a spicy dish warning. The winter greens and the carrots were unique and also delicious. The Lamb ribs also very good - we ordered a couple of those plates. Favorites were the brussel sprouts - wish i could make them like that! And also for me the mussels. Our standard go to is the Pork dish and chorizo and it was again superb.
Our custom menus to celebrate our friends from the East Coast was a very nice and surprising touch! they were impressed. overall a wonderful evening with tastes that are unique and definitely make you come back again and again to see what is new!

The winter greens salad was phenomenal as were the carrots with myzithra. The scallops were also fantastic!! The staff were all very polite and seemed to work as a team. We thought it was delicious and look forward to a return visit!!
Love Eden Hill! We have been here a couple of times and it is always a experience to remember. The counter is our favorite as we get to hear more about each dish, what went into it and all the components. Recently we had the five course menu with the non-alcoholic pairing and it was great, we will be back.
Terrible service. Nobody gave us the time of day. They Literally forgot about us and our waiter was at the bar drinking wine, and no one came over for an hour to wait our table. The waiters were very cold and not helpful or attentive. I’m so disappointed. The food was over salted and way too oily. I’m honestly just disappointed in my entire experience and will never go back.
I have referred people to Terra Plata in the past but most likely won't after this last experience. This was the fourth or fifth time I've been to Terra Plata and I've enjoyed my experience greatly for all but this most recent visit. The food was very mediocre this last time around - duck fat wasn't rendered well, ahi was excessively fishy tasting (maybe old?), and the roasted grapes dish was way too salty. Also, I've gotten the cheese plate in the past and really enjoyed the cheeses and peripheral items and sauces. However, this last time there was hardly anything that came with the cheeses. Half a tablespoon of some cranberry sauce and another half a tablespoon of some sort of honey. Enough for maybe three bites. Then they sprinkled sprouts everywhere in what seemed an attempt to make the plate look more full.
Service was good, my cocktail was great, and the brussel sprouts were fantastic.
Had roasted pig and scallops, Brussels sprouts, charcuterie, deviled eggs, passion fruit pavlova. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. The waiter and server were separate. We had 2 people with food allergies and the server made a point of indicating which dishes did/didn’t contain allergens. Waiter was excellent also and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Fun, unusual cocktails. Lots of variety in the wine list. Staff across the board professional, informed and friendly. Excellent experience!
Sadly, you had no fresh salads and very few vegetarian options. First time this has happened at your restaurant. I was disappointed.

Individual staff made a point to acknowledge our anniversary. We were also given a complimentary bobbly to begin our meal. The food was delicious.
The service and most of the food was amazing. They printed special menus for my family’s holiday gathering, which was an awesome touch. The Steelhead was not very good; would not recommend it. Everything else was delicious, and we tried everything! The portions were small so be prepared to spend lots of $$ for little plates. The wait staff was very attentive and super nice. Overall, great experience just don’t order the Steelhead.
We went for anniversary and they greeted us with two glasses of champagne and a menu with an anniversary greeting on top. The food was delicious and the service was warm and prompt. Even the hostess was attentive to our needs. It's a bit spendy so I'd go again on another special occasion.
We always enjoy the "Farm to Table" cuisine. Terra Plata was no exception; the chef is ingenious. We ordered the small plate format and enjoyed all the dishes. The Brussels sprouts, octopus and sweet potato were excellent.

Started with some frites that were absolutely delicious with the aoli dip along with a glass of bubble.. the clams n mussels in a broth were also very nice but I was expecting a different twist to this as I read much about Terra Plata. Overall it was good and yes! Excellent service with vibrant ambiance ( there were usual dates and then office lunches) ! Keep it up guys!!
The charcuterie platter was outstanding. I chose the duck and it was superb. Their Tempranillo was only ok; I would chose a different red.
The small plates option was so amazing. All 6 of us got to taste the incredible food (true farm to table) combinations. Unique, foodie menu with a home cooked feel.
The ambiance says “community and warmth”!
The wine list was beyond my expectations.
