Dark beer, chorizo sausage, shallot, chervil. Served with pomme frites and bread. Please note that mussels continue to cook in to go containers. They will be tougher and smaller than when consumed in house.
Fennel, celery, onions, sorrel, parsley, chervil, mustard, white wine, cream. Served with pomme frites and bread. Please note that mussels continue to cook in to go containers. They will be tougher and smaller than when consumed in house
Snails sautéed in butter, shallot, garlic, white wine, parsley and chervil served with grilled toast points
Food was under-seasoned and way over priced. Service was great but would not return.
Nick , our server, was delightful and outstanding.
I dined outside with two companions, and it was a wonderful experience! The artichokes were amazing, as was the cheese plate (definitely try the triple cream!) and the eggplant entree! The beet salad was very good as well, though I would have preferred a bit less dressing. I asked for a custom drink, and they were wonderful in crafting something perfect! All in all, it was a lovely night out and we are already trying to plan a return trip!
Airy with well separated booths inside, classic looking bar, excellent selection of draft beers (incl. RR Pliny the Elder this week), and a nice range of lunch selections (duck breast salad, BLT, and fries were all very good.) Sidewalk tables too hot for summer noontime (no umbrellas) but indoors is comfortable.
Nice neighborhood bar, good food, our server Nick was very attentive and personable.
Was a little warm inside with a seat by the kitchen and the heat wave.
Food was terrific...huge selection. Cocktails were great. My husband loved the whiskey selection and I liked the number of gins to choose from. We will definitely be back.
A really excellent lunch with a friend a Teresa Next Door. First time back since pandemic and it was as good as ever. Great team working there. Great food. Awesome drinks.
A quick lunch at Teresa’s was good but difficult passing on the great beer options and sticking with water. Just an omelette order and an eggplant order, which were perfect.
This is a neighborhood place where we always feel welcome, the food is predictably good and the staff is warm, informative and attentive.
The garlic bread was terrible. It was 2 rocks on a plate. I can't believe anyone would serve that. When we told the server about it, we thought maybe it would be removed form the bill. Nope. The rest of our food was good but the portions were small. Increase the portions if you are going to charge that much for dinner. Overall ok but we won't be rushing back.
Always a pleasure to dine at Teresa's. Excellent staff, food and atmosphere.
Really love the new partitions between booths! Felt private and cozy.
I was unimpressed with the Lobster roll. It had no flavor and was skimpy for $27.00. It tasted very watery.
Server was great. Friendly and helpful with recommendations.
Mid week dinner crowd was fairly busy. Definitely would go back.
We were out to dinner as a family for my birthday. The food was delicious. Both my husband and I wear hearing aides so it was tough to hear the waiter through his mask because he was a bit soft spoken and there was a very loud talker at the next table. Our waiter was pleasant and very patient with us as we didn’t make our mind up quickly when ordering dinner. We will definitely return.
Theresa’s is one of our favorite places to eat. Great drinks and beer. Great food. Friendly wait staff.
It was my first time back since being allowed to eat inside. It was very good!
First time here and will definitely be back. Great food/drink selections as well as great service. They even gave us dessert on the house because they ran out of what we ordered. Highly recommend!
Excellent food & service! Presentation of the food was quite impressive for such a small, locally owned restaurant. Will be here again!
Sat outside on a sunny day and was very happy with the service, food, and the beer selection!!!
One of our favorite places. Drove an hour for lunch. Always worth it.
Bartender was totally rude and argumentative. My entire party was taken aback by his attitude and arrogance. Ordered a steak that was grossly over cooked and the rest of the food was just ok. Nothing to write home about.
Very good food, very slow service.
75 minutes for a Pizza to get to the table and they ask you to limit your stay to 90 minutes?
Other patrons were getting agitated. The manager, unasked, very nicely comped our drinks.
Excellent service, excellent food, fantastic beer selection and great cocktails. Couldn't ask for anything more really!
Great dinner outside on the sidewalk. Mussels and salads. Awesome G&T menu.
Love Teresa’s - food is always consistently good and nice wine selection.
The food was well presented and delicious. My beet salad was huge and could have been a meal. The sauce for the gnocchis was great and the portion was big enough to take some home, considering the size of the salad. The items and prices on the menu presented to us were totally different from the menu posted online so be prepared for the difference. This may be due to Covid and paper menus or something I am sure the restaurant can explain. Overall, we enjoyed the place and would not hesitate to return.
The service was excellent. My food was terrible. I ordered a Croque Madame where the mornay sauce was extra. There was barely any meat and cheese inside. It was 80% bread. It wasn't grilled. The small salad was very nice and well dressed. The beer and cider choices were very good.
AN OLD FAVORITE THAT i HAD NOT VISITED IN TOO LONG. NOTHING STUNNING BUT EVERYTHING'S GOOD TO VERY GOOD. MORE THAN AMPLE VALUE FOR THE EXPENSE.WAIT STAFF ON THE ROOKIE SIDE BUT NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.
Outdoor dining at Teresa’s Cafe (I still prefer to call it TND - Magen that’ll come back soon) was very good for the 4 of us. Derrick did an excellent just with our entire order and we had a nice time, as usual. Appetizers and entrees were delicious and the beer choices were top notch with an assortment of Russian River including my favorites - Pliny and Blind Pig. Thank you and we’ll certainly be back very soon.
Great social distancing protocol in place. The drinks are fantastic as always.
We've been infrequent guests because Teresa's is a bit out of the way for us. But after this lunch, we'll be spending more beautiful afternoons on Wayne Avenue. The wine list is unique, with some things you don't often see at neighborhood cafes. We had (and loved) the "orange wine", a perfect beverage for a long and leisurely lunch al fresco. We shared the scallop brochette and the fried artichokes, both of which were so good that we'd have ordered seconds if we had any less self control. Then my wife had one of the clever and unusual preparations of mussels, and I had the elk burger. She loved the mussels so much that I thought she'd eat the shells too! And I'm a sucker for elk because it's such sweet meat - and the burger delivered in spades. It's a good thing we fed the parking meter for maximum time, because we used up the 2 hours without even realizing how time flew.
This has been our favorite restaurant outside of Philadelphia since 2011. Yesterday was our first visit back since February 2020. It felt great to be back. The food and beer are as great as ever. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. We can't recommend this place highly enough!
Was cool. Sidewalk not that lit. Kinda busy
Good lunch outside. Mussels, salads, and Belgium beer. A delicious combo.
Excellent! Everything was delicious- we can’t wait to go back!
I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better first impression.. the staff makes you feel and home, and the food— perfection.
It was outdoor dining. They had my reservation and we didn’t wait. The food was good, service was decent, only complaint was the uncomfortable chairs on a sloped sidewalk. It’s not a gourmet restaurant but the food is good, drinks are good, people were friendly.
We were excited to try a local place rather than a chain restaurant. Unfortunately after the initial greeting at the entrance, our experience was terrible. The waiter seemed uninterested from the beginning and all the way til the end of our time there. Which made us not even enjoy our dinner. Unfortunately we will not be eating there again. And won’t recommend it to others.
