Ted's Montana Grill - NYC
Great dining experience!
I ordered a bison buffer medium rare and it was well done. I had to ask to have it remade and my husband was finished eating when I got my food. It was good when it was made correctly but I would’ve liked to have eaten with my husband.
Great food great music.
Substandard burger. Many other better places than this.
Nice and quiet, good food and a friendly waitress, lovely evening
The food was very tasty. The Ted's signature margarita was weak but the jalapeño huckleberry was terrific. 50 bucks for a 16 oz steak is a tad pricey but it was well prepared. The sides were all good! Asparagus, mushrooms and a bison nachos appetizer all hit the spot. The waiter and bartender were very friendly and quick.
The cedar planked salmon was done perfectly, and they are happy to let you “choose” the side you prefer—baked sweet potato rather than garlic mashed did it for me. Service was a highlight—if you’re lucky you’ll get Mariana!
Everyone enjoyed their meals and the dining experience.
Great meal at Ted’s as always. The service was excellent as well
Nice midtown steak house-I prefer the Bison burgers and entries- they are well done and flavorful-less pretentious than other midtown steak house.
The food and service were excellent. They even had gluten free options which is perfect for me.
We were sat in a dark corner of the restaurant where the low lighting made it hard to even read the menus. It got even darker when a cloud moved in front of the sun as if someone turned down the lights more. Once our waitress took the order, she would disappear, nowhere to be found until the food was served and then disappear again. Food (we all ordered burgers) was OK. The women in our group complained that the old fashioned "soap" in the bathrooms (powder) was making their hands dry. I thought it was kind of old school and did not mind it. Overall, no ambience, too dark, food was just OK - we will not be going back.
Good food and atmosphere
Always a great experience at Ted’s. The food was delicious, the service outstanding. You get true bang for your buck here. I’ve been coming for years and have never had a bad experience.
Our waiter was LeLand and he was excellent! I also loved the cheese cake and the sangria! The fries and the Bison steak are great too!!
We only had a main course and a drink .The burgers-one beef and one bison-were good as we have found on previous visits. Our booking was for 8 pm and therefore restaurant not too busy .
I ordered the farmhouse salad with chicken. There was very little chicken and what was there was dark meat and some fat. Will never order that again.
However those in my party that ordered the burgers with side of half fries and half onion rings said it was pretty good.
i chose this restaurant based on reviews
i am beginning to think that many reviews
are bogus as have had bad results the last couple of times i based selection on reviews
i eat out alot and usually go to better higher end places.. i am not sure what value ooen table has if as consumers we depend on accurate reviews to help make decisions
this restaurant was fairly empty yet soup
took 20 minutes to arrive
steak which was supposed to be medium
came out well done and chewy and a lot of grizzle. turkey burger very bland .
service poor.. waitress actually stopped serving us to watch TV!!!
i cannot trust the reviews here to make decisions
the quality and preparation of food has change since the last time we have been there.
Our waitress Kenya was excellent!
We had to arrange a group dinner for 8 peopleand ended up at Ted's Montana Grill. Excellent choice in terms of food, ambiance and service. Would definitely recommend this place as it's affordable as well.
Fantastic; location, service food, low noise level great for having conversation. last but not least; the food was delicious! had the Bison Rib Eye- outstanding for steak lovers.
I made a reservation for 8 people and we were in a lovely, private room. Our server, Leiland, was absolutely fantastic and accommodating. This was a wonderful way to spend my graduation evening!
Amazing burgers and wonderful service. Will come back
Ay bruh or sis (I don't discriminate) this place definitely popping, telling you those bison patties are better than a Bob Ross painting at 3:00am
Ted's Montana Grill is consistently a great dining experience. The food is always good, the servers are very friendly, and the huckleberry margarita is on point.
The food was awesome, the waiter was very friendly and very accommodating. It was a real nice experience. My friends and I will be back.
We stopped here for an early dinner pre theater....couldn't have been better. We were a party of 7. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was excellent from the bison meatloaf sandwich to the crapcake sandwich.
Kale salad was outstanding. We will return!
The food was good, the service was excellent, and the location good for the theater district. But the building they are in is under construction, and the restaurant difficult to find and access. During this time, they should do something to attract customers, like extend happy hour to the restaurant area. We were disappointed that you could only get happy hour prices at the bar.
We have had bison burgers before, so when we got into NYC we knew we we were ready for more. It was pouring rain and the whole block is being remodeled, but we finally found the restaurant. The bison burger and the bison meatloaf sandwich were great. We will return again the next time we are in town.
Great find. Was able to get a pre theater table on short notice. the food was very good and so was the service. Glad we found this place
Great meal. Excellent service. Would visit again and recommend to anyone visiting NYC.
The woman at the front Mel was so accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful.
Definitely will return for another meal. My husband was excited to celebrate his birthday and we all felt welcome here. The food was amazing and the staff was very professional.
Excellent all around. Noise level very low if you go early. We had dinner at five o'clock but naturally by the time we left it was busier and a bit louder. Nothing intolerable. We ordered the pot roast dish and the trout dish. Both delicious.
Food was fine, little noisy, overall good experience
We had a great dinner at Ted’s Montana Grill! The atmosphere was calming, a nice break from the madness of Times Square. The staff was friendly and seemed happy to be working there, and food was excellent!
Server Max was awesome. Filet ordered came out rare when ordered medium. Also was very stringy when we cut into it. Also, NY Strip was flavorless. Neither steaks very good for a steak restaurant. Burgers were good for the kids and the service was fantastic.
Ted's is a great go-to place for a tasty yet speedy lunch in midtown. The prices are ok, some things a bit overpriced but what do you expect for midtown. I had a pretty good crab cake and wanted soup because I wasn't feeling well. But no chicken noodle, so I passed. But the waiter/kitchen scared up a bowl for me! And it was the best chicken noodle soup I've had in a long time. They should keep it on the menu permanently! It was very much appreciated. Good service and good solid food - but exceptional chicken noodle soup!
By far the best steak we ever ate. Also kid friendly. A place to go as a family for a nice diner.
Very accommodating to my disabled parents in wheelchairs . Solid food . We had burger , fish sandwich , soup , ribs . Ribs were small portion . Very close to radio city so it was very convenient for our show. We will return
