The atmosphere is beautiful. You feel like you are in a little European restaurant, not Wheaton. The food is really exceptional and delicious. Worth a try!
Suzettes with it's atmosphere, fabulous food and service is always a favorite with us. Whether it is breakfast, dinner--anytime it is always just the best! The staff and servers are knowledgable and friendly, with a tasteful discretion of when to leave you alone. It has it all!
Ambience was very nice. Service seemed a little off as there were a lot of new servers working. Food was very tasty, but plating was off as well. I had the sole dish, done very nicely, but sunk (or pushed) into the potato puree. Live music (piano) played at a low level and from a secluded corner, a big plus!!
Outstanding food and ambience! The fine details are attended to! A lovely setting!
This was a very nice first visit to a restaurant that has been in Wheaton for 20 years. The menu was what one would expect from a French restaurant serving crepes and quiche and we were not let down. The French Onion soup was a bit different moving from what I'd consider to be a traditional beef broth base to a creamier onion soup with the traditional cheese and baguette topping. But still very good. We went for lunch on Valentine's weekend and happy to get a table. Looking forward to dinner during the spring or summer when we might dine on the patio.
The food and service top notch.
However, it was Valentines Day and they only would let you order pre fixed four course dinner which is way too much food for us.
I wish open table or the restaurant would have informed us before hand .
We would have gone to a different restaurant for the evening.
A few other tables around us asked if they could order off regular menus too ..
A little information on open table or at door of the restaurant would be helpful.
We had cheeze fondue for two, side salads, one rack of lamb and one filet mignon. All were excellent. Given the quality of the food and ambiance, it was a great value!
Wonderful crepies food delicious, service excellent, one of my favorite places.
The food and service were fantastic! It seems like a small place, but the quality of food was great! I ordered the Steak Frites and it was one of the best steaks I had. My wife ordered the Chicken Gateau and we were pleasantly surprised by its structure and flavor depth. The bartender had no issue helping us decide on which wine to try and Justin, our server, was pleasant, attentive, and always willing to get more information or answer any questions.
Food is good, but service was very slow.
Food service staff and ambiance were terrific but couldn’t hear the live music in the back room.
Great food. A change from other restaurants. Really gave me a taste of France.
My friends love the place. But if you’re living the Keto lifestyle, Suzette’s is difficult. I suggested they could do a Keto dessert and was told they “don’t use sugar substitutes.” Nice of them to be purists . . . Guess I’ll pop an Atkins bar in my purse when next we have a girl’s lunch.
Suzette's has really become a fine restaurant. We hadn't been there for a year or two (service had been slipping and the wait for meals was too long). But Tuesday night we enjoyed our salads, crab cakes, beef bourguignon crepes and lemon sole as well as scrumptious peach pie a la mode. And a lovely glass of wine. They now have a Bistro menu as well as the traditional crepes. Service was excellent and the restaurant is so beautiful, it's a pleasure to be there. I almost hesitate to write a recommendation for fear that it will get crowded! But I imagine on weekends, tables might be difficult to come by; solution: make a reservation! Just hoping that the good service with no long waits is true on weekends too.
Love Suzette's. Always a great meal and service. I love the coffee and the food.
We enjoyed our evening at Suzette's with wonderful food and service. The dining room was a bit loud, but that was partially because we were near the piano and people around us had to talk louder to be heard over the music. We love French food so we will be back!
We splurged and had the high tea - one French and one English. Absolutely delicious. And the service was extrodinary as was our table in a quiet alcove. All perfect!
This is 2nd time we were there, 1st time was excellent on all levels. This time not so much, the main dining area was almost empty and we were seated in a corner near the bar. This would have been fine except a few "gentlemen" who seemed have had a number of drinks were sitting at the bar talking very loudly. They may have been regulars because the bartender was joining in the conversations. Several times we could not hear / understand each others words because how loud the bar patrons got. This went on for our entire dining experience. WHY we were place so close to the bar area seems odd with an almost empty dining room. I guess we should have requested a different table but my spouse did not want to move until the food was already being served. Lesson learned.... Not sure if we will return.
On a second note, the place is showing its age. Both of our chairs had the fabric on the arms worn through to the padding, and one of the ceiling vents above us was missing leaving a big hole into the duct work. It is a shame it was a place we really enjoyed in the past..
Excellent food and service. Server was great and really made the night special. Piano player added a really nice touch to the overall ambiance.
Excellent, though definitely on the pricey side for what you get with the tea service. My only negative was the woman who called me to confirm my reservation was actually quite rude and condescending when I was confused and asked a few questions about the tea service. I almost cancelled my reservation due to her snobbery. She changed her tune when she found out that I'd never been there before, but the initial attitude was unsettling.
What a fabulous, something different treasure. The pate platter was amazing.
Enjoyed a delicious Sunday breakfast in a very cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive.
So quaint and lovely! There was a shower going on in the back area of the restaurant, which is nice to know in terms of future get-togethers! Food and service were both excellent... Atmosphere was quite nice, too. Overall experience was most enjoyable and deserving of a repeat visit for dinner as our table enjoyed a luncheon. They also have what appears to be a sought-after afternoon tea service which quite a few other tables were taking part in, and a bakery area with many sweet treats to be had and taken home. I'll definitely return! 5 stars overall!
nice menu with french influence. the Sole Muniere was perfectly cooked; roasted vegetables were delightful
So lovely for an afternoon tea! The food was amazing! And a very cute place
Wanted a place on the way to the Arboretum and we love French food. The food was very tasty but not the best we have had which is why the 4 stars. The soufflé starter is not what we would consider a soufflé. That said it was cheesy delicious. French onion soup was very good. My spinach salad was very good. The show stopper was my husbands lamb chops. Those were really excellent. We look forward to going back and trying more dishes. The ambiance is lovely and very relaxing.
Our server was knowledgeable and very pleasant, food nicely spaced, atmosphere cozy. Great fondue appetizer! Our first visit and we’ll be back!!
They lost our reservation made through opentable but were able to find us a seat.
Excellent food, atmosphere & service. The manager Denise made our first visit fantastic. Will definitely be going back frequently.
Delicious food in a lovely setting
The food was amazing! I had the rack of lamb and for desert the apples crape with caramel. We celebrated our wedding anniversary in style 😉
We have been here many times and enjoy the live music. Normally, the food is better than it was on this last visit, but the service was very good as usual.
I Love Suzette's! Always great food and the service is fantastic. The coffee is very, very good.
We went for the Christmas tea and we were not thrilled by our experience. Despite arriving before most other parties we were seated in the furthest back room (the chef kitchen) in a corner on what I can only describe as banquet metal chairs. Other guests were seated in arm chairs and nice wooden chairs. Our table was the ONLY one with these uncomfortable chairs and shoved into a corner with doors on either side. The food was subpar. When asked which of the sandwich selections had mayonnaise (as we had one person in our party allergic) the staff replied “all of them” and took the plate away. A crepe was provided instead, but it had a Dijon mustard which we were not warned about and this also caused an allergic reaction. The scones were superb but the desserts were mainly flavorless and the mousse we were served had cooked egg white pieces in it which were unappetizing.
The food was wonderful. This was not our first visit and I’ve been favorably impressed every time.
One of our favorite places to eat! The quiche is amazing! The staff is always super attentive and we have never had a bad meal or experience! everyone we have ever brought there or recommended to eat has said the same.
I was treating my friend to a birthday lunch. We sat in the wingback chairs by the faux fireplace. Our meals were delicious, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful. Love this place!
I love the atmosphere and variety of dishes. Service and quality of food is outstanding.
Great service and food everytime!
Our family went to dinner at Suzette's on Saturday evening. We sat in a back room, we could hear the live music in a good sort of way--we could hear the music but could still visit. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing--we had the strong feeling we were in a back room and were forgotten. We had to ask for a wine list twice. When we ordered apps were advised cheese soufflé would take twenty minutes, but they could bring the other two, pate and pomme frites, before, which we said would be fine. Twenty minutes later they brought the soufflé, a few minutes after the other two apps. Main courses were quite awhile later. . Pate was excellent; soufflé average; pomme frites average; seafood crepes lousy; quiche excellent; gnocchi (appetizer portion) excellent; pasta ragu average; left without desert. We arrived at 6:45 and left at 8:45, without getting desert.
