Always excellent food. Very helpful with requests for gluten free selections.
Wrong information online there’s no brunch on Sunday’s. Very disappointing
Was there Saturday night first time. Enjoyed very much. The Curry Shrimp was terrific, but that Duck Rice was really really wonderful! The Dates appetizer stuffed with linguica was truly unique and very good. We also tried those crispy pig ears. I liked even though probably wouldn't order again. Maybe order if you have a group of at least 4 and so you can say you had once. Its too many "ears" for just 2 humans though......
We had terrific time there,it was my cousin Marlene’s birthday. Her and her husband came on vacation fro Philly.So. Invited to have dinner at Sugarcane they love it we all had a lovely time.
Drinks are way overpriced and didn’t exceed my expectations. Otherwise food and service were good.
The steak was tasty but cheap. Goat chz croquettes were excellent, so were the sushi rolls crunchy tuna n salmon avocado. Tuna tartare was good too but too small for what they charge. Some dishes, not say most of the dishes, are too small for what u pay for.
The only decent one was the creme brulee.
Service was good n on point.
Great tuna rolls
We had a wonderful experience from our arrival. We were seated promptly and taken care of every step of the way. Recommendations were all on point.
Great food, great flavor to everything! Service was great, only negative is they don't pour a very good drink!
Our server, Linda, was fantastic. Best server I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely delicious but very pricey. I expected it to not be cheap but it truly was significantly more expensive than I personally think it should have been but I didn’t mind too much because of how delicious everything was. The torrejas dessert was phenomenal. A MUST order.
The food was amazing. I’d definitely go back.
Excellent food and service! Everything was good, suggest ordering a few items from snack menu and a few from small plates for a couple. Some favorites:
Crispy pig ears
Wagyu Beef Sliders
Duck & Waffle (worth the price!)
Octopus (perfectly grilled)
Will def come back here again.
Food and service were excellent. Especially love the shrimp ceviche, the shishito peppers, Hamachi and the Wagyu Beef roll. It's a little loud in the restaurant for conversation but worth it.
Service very good. Food excellent! Great choices!
Brought 2 15 year olds & they loved it.
We have been to sugarcane many times in the past. I must say, the restaurant is lacking in many ways. We had a reservation for outdoors and when we checked in, we were greeted so rudely and was told that it would be another 45 minute wait so we ate inside. Not that big of deal but not a good impression. When we ordered a lot of food, the service was beyond horrible. They brought out EVERYTHING at the same time that it was comical. There was no room to place it all on the table. Not to mention that they brought out the sides first, then the hot entrees then the sushi which in my opinion, the server should have warned us that it all comes out quickly or should have coursed it out. We asked the manager to come. He was very defensive and wisked away our hot items. When we finished our sushi, it took another 45 mins for the rest to come out. Flavors and size of portions were mediocre for the price!! Service and hospitality was horrible. They sent a dessert on the house and 3 hrs later we left with no apologies.
Won’t be coming back. Too bad because it was our go to in the past. I won’t be recommending anymore.
We enjoyed the tuna tartare and wagyu sliders quite a bit!
Co- worker dinner.
Great New Year’s brunch with live entertainment!
Diana was an amazing server.
Fantastic service and food—all the yellowtail dishes were wonderful
NYE and birthday
Great food, excellent for any occasion. Service is hands-down one of the best in Miami
New Years Eve with family.
This was my first experience at this establishment and I have never been more disappointed. I made a reservation for two but did not get seated for 20 min. I finally gave up on getting our table so I sat the bar. Was ignored my bartenders for another 20 min without drink order. Asked for a menu and was never given a menu so we sat ignored and decided enough was enough and left. 3 other parties were furious because they waited past their wait time b and decided to leave as well. Horrible service don’t waste your time.
This restaurant must have a lot of new hires. We had food and drinks from other tables brought to ours 5x by different servers. Need to work on their communication. Food is pretty good. Nothing mind blowing but something for everyone.
You need to try the duck and waffles
I love Sugar Cane. I have been multiple times. The food is outstanding for anyone who likes food with a twist. My only complaint is the drinks are way over priced. I ordered the Spice of Love and asked for tequila not vodka. I was charged 22 dollars each drink. The drink is served as a scotch on the rocks would be served minusing the ice so it is not even 25 percent of the cup. So my suggestion would be go to eat and get drinks else where unless you order a beer the mixed cocktails are over priced for a small place in midtown.
Had a great experience while on my date. The waitresses were all helpful and the food with drinks were all delicious!! Will be back! Even if it’s by myself. It would be a great treat!!
This was my first time dining at Sugarcane. The ambiance was energetic and shabby chic. Our server Ricky was attentive and my friends and I were able to dine without being rushed. The wine and cocktails were spot on, we ordered the Malbec as well as the Spice of Love which was vodka infused with mango purée and jalapeño (not too spicy though). We started out with the goat cheese croquettes which were crispy and delicious. Next we sampled an array of small plates like sushi, beet, goat cheese and arugula salad, and tuna tartare which were very good. My friend ordered the duck and waffle which was very flavorful so we added the duck fried rice, the latter was a bit greasy but yummy. Then for awhile nothing came out until the beef short ribs arrived with the sweet corn. The corn was mediocre and cold and not worth the $7. The short ribs were tough and fatty. Short ribs are supposed to fall off the bone so I returned the dish and our server removed it from our bill no questions asked. All in all it was a fun night and I recommend Sugarcane for its fun ambiance, good drinks and food.
Very happy with our meal. Music was great and food was delicious.
The food was amazing like always, it was just very loud. But overall one of my fav restaurants in Miami 😍
Excellence all around
So many different options to fit everyone’s tastebuds. Very creative and fun food. Everything we had was delicious and would definitely go back again. Make sure to leave room for dessert too!
Great service , food was wonderful
Our waiter gave us wonderful suggestions
It is great restaurant with many options for food, place to sit and they can accommodate for many types of occasions. The place is well taken care of, the staff is friendly, and their food is appetizing.
Only downside would be the noise level. Everything else can be overlooked with ease.
Food was great, they had a small band playing live music that was terrific. Great time for a friends get together. The goat cheese croquettes and the bacon wrapped dates were incredible. Torrejas for desert were phenomenal.
Great lyche cocktail! The sliders, skirt steak and Octopus were excellent!
Stanley was AMAZING
Nice dinner, food was good, as well as service.
Just a bit noisy
