Strip House Midtown
Strip on Toast
Creamed Spinach & Crostini
Toasted Almond, Miso Butter
Love this spot, but unfortunately wasn't as good as it had been the last few times. Order was mishandled and not communicated well that an internal error was made. Waitstaff, normally very responsive, failed to deliver items that were asked for multiple times.
Nice to eat out at last. Outside, but still their usual best.
Food and service is always solid
Food and service were great! Overall wonderful experience with the feel of a traditional, old-school steakhouse. Would definitely go back.
Much better steakhouses available in midtown Manhattan: Keene’s, Smith &Wolensky and Sparks to name only a few.
Awesome evening with special friends from the UK. A little on expensive side otherwise would come back more often
Amazing!! We celebrated our birthdays there and staff was great and food was spectacular!!
The porterhouse steak for two is the best I ever had. This is a great steak house
This is a favorite that I keep coming back to because the food and the staff (and the drinks!) are top notch!
Patrick, Kyle and Eddie are all great assets
Food was delicious and served hot. We had crab cakes and streaks both were great!!!! The service was excellent
Amazing meal and service, as always. Do wish the prices were a little more moderate.
Great food, service and location. My wife and I were thrilled with our experience. Waiter was a
We had an enjoyable dining experience at the Strip House. Menu provided a good selection. The steaks were well prepared. The sides were delicious. The setting was romantic. The service was top notch.
Good food and atmosphere. Steak has a high peppercorn coating, beware. Service was great and no gripes for NYC.
Servers were attentive and the food was amazing!
Was a great restaurant to eat and be able to talk to your partner without having to talk real loud over someone
We went there for Valentines day and it was a great experience. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were sit at the bar, which regarding table size, looked pretty much as the regular tables for 2. We decided to order there and service was fine! Food was delicious!! One of the best steaks I’ve had in NYC and definitely the best truffle spinach cream!! Worth the visit
It was a nice Valentine’s Day in a different city. Lovely place to eat.
Strip House was simply fantastic! Extremely attentive waiters (even on Valentine’s Day) and the steaks were cooked to perfection! I’d be back here in a heartbeat!
Though there would be tiddies because of name. There are nakey pictures of old ladies on the wall but no real tiddies. Disappointed.
Wonderful experience to enjoy food and service best beef ever and I will be here again,
Used to be our favorite. Service has declined significantly and price point increased beyond reason for this level of a restaurant.
Great place ...disappointed to get a tiny table at first!
Very delicious birthday dinner topped off with the incredible chocolate layer cake. Waiter was excellent and all of the food came out quickly
Excellent place for dinner. We went primarily for the 24 layer chocolate cake, however dinner was so good I could only eat 2 bites of my cake. So incredibly delicious and look forward to going back again.
Service and food was great.
The staff was amazing. We had the most amazing waiter. I really enjoyed the food, and the service.
Waiter, originally from Romania but can't recall his name was outstanding. Hope I'm in his section next time I go.
A first impression is everything! Strip House is a prime example of amazing! From the moment we walked in, being greeted by their wonderful hostess, to the professionalism of George (our server). The atmosphere, food preparation and menu options are incredible! Looking forward to returning soon!
Best steak I have ever had
Dinner with wife after Broadway show (Lion King 👍🏻👍🏻). Got there when they opened, 5pm. Decided to have dinner at the bar since the place was very quiet. We shared Clams Casino app. Small Little Neck clams but we’re still very good. Not overloaded with breadcrumbs. Filet mignon and Strip steak entrees, while pricey $50+, were excellent. Cooked to perfection. My Strip had a bit too much pepper/salt crust but still throughly enjoyed. Also shared two sides. Baked potato and mushrooms. Each very good and more than enough to split.
excellent meat, thank you for this good time in your restaurant
Where do I start with my review of Strip House Midtown. To say it fell short of any expectations I had would be a gross understatement.
The service from the very beginning was atrocious, waiter seemed like he was constantly bothered by any request we made and the support staff didn't listen to anything you said either.
Now, this visit to the Strip House was for an anniversary with my wife, however, you wouldn't have known this by the way the staff acted. Nor, did they even make one gesture as to say or do anything special for us.
I had the Clam Chowder and it was probably one of the worst soups ever, not just Clam Chowder, but just soups in general!
Then, we ordered our entrees, which my wife and I both got the NY Strip with sides of brussel sprouts and potatoes au gratin.
They upcharged us $12 each because this was "beyond the normal item for restaurant week", even though every steak house charges the standard $42, so I was expecting a very lavish entree.
Well, it came as a major surprise to me that when we got the entree it was literally just two small strips of steak, 6 brussel sprouts and a 1inch square of potato from a pan.....for an extra $12 each - this was ridiculous!!
It was an okay steak, but I kept wondering what they did with the other 3/4 of it since normally a NY Strip is between 10-12oz.
Overall, I'd suggest everyone stay far away from this restaurant. It was the worst restaurant experience I've had in the city and I've lived here for 4 years and never write reviews. Try any other steakhouse in NYC and you'll be much happier.
Dry Aged Ribeye was perfect. Service was great! Would go back for sure...
Restaurant Week Lunch 2020 $26 for 2 course. Got salmon tartare and 3 chips that taste exactly like onion chip in indonesia as appetizer, big portion. Nice flavour and presentation . Demi strip steak ( additional supplement $12). My friend was shocked when it's coming because it's tiny. But by the end of the steak we have trouble to finish it. Don't let ur eyes fooled you. The steak nicely done in medium rare. I also order passion fruit margarita that quite potent for lunch :) and key lime pie to share. The meringue slightly too sweet for me but it's because my keto diet regime that made all the food I ate too sweet. Service is good and very efficient. Total cost $85 with tip. Expensive lunch indeed. I definitely come back to this steak joint
went for resto week lunch, 3 entree's but the steak entree was a $12 supplement pp so what's the point of going to a steakhouse for a resto week special if the $26 lunch is costing $36. Aside from that irritant - food is delicious. We had tuna tartar which was as good as it gets and the steak ( despite the supplement! ) Steak was perfect and tasty - if not a bite size portion. I love the food and the ambiance but don't bother going to Strip House if you are at all focused on cost.
