Have a nice, tasty birthday dinner with family. Would recommend and will make a return trip again
The food was EXCELLENT! Like, truly excellent. And a nice yet still comfortable atmosphere. We will absolutely be back.
This restaurant was recommended by the front desk person at our hotel. We drove up to find a very small and crowded parking lot. Fortunately someone left and opened up a spot for us.
The interior is huge with several different dining areas and vibes. We sat in a dining area next to a window that looked out into what appeared to be an outdoor seating area.
Our server was very friendly. The meal consisted of lobster bisque, seafood pot pie and seafood risotto. The bisque was thick and did not have many chunks of lobster. By contrast the seafood dishes were jam packed with large pieces of lobster, shrimp and scallops. The flavor was amazing.
We enjoyed it so much that we went back for lunch a couple of days later.
A great brunch experience. Will return.
They had a price fixed menu special when we went and the portions were amazing for the price. The food was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Highly recommended
Was visiting colleges in the area and wanted to find a good seafood restaurant. Read reviews and OpenTable and TripAdvisor. Decided to drive 20 mins from our hotel to give the place a try. Service was great (that includes the parking lot attendant!). We only had appy's and dinner. The clam chowder was great! (as it should be in the New England area). But, that's where it stopped. Daughter had the Lobster Grilled Cheese. It was certainly different. But...way too rich and cheesy. All that richness did the lobster claw meat no justice. Less cheese/more lobster may have provided a better balance. As for me, I had what I thought would be a classic New England Lobster Roll. That was marginal at best. I'd had far better lobster rolls on roadside stands! Was not assembled well at all. The lobster meat did not stay in the bun, as the bun was crushed in certain spots. Was not a pleasure to eat. And, again, I've had far better. Would I go here again? I don't know. Was a nice place. But, based in my initial experience, I would recommend trying to stick with menu items that are relatively straightforward.
Went for lunch. Very pretty on the river. Stayed inside because of wing. Service was very good. Nice wine list and make a very good Manhattan.
We sat outside on the covered patio hence the noise level. Overall the experience was very positive for our group. The service was excellent, staff very responsive and the food was good! There was plenty to choose from as the menu is diverse. I would just note, if the sound of trains going by bother you than you should opt to eat inside. We were not bothered by it.
Never disappointed. Great food, diverse menu selection. Good service. I will keep coming back.
Extremely happy with the Resturant would highly recommend it..Our first time there very Pleasant staff from the parking lot in to the waitresses taking the order...Food is outstanding
Waited at hostess stand for 10 minutes. No one acknowledged us. The bartenders just looked at us. It looked like a manger peaked out of the kitchen. Still nothing. Was finally seated. And waited. Another couple was seated. And we waited. 1 person with a party of 10 was seated and immediately offered a drink. We waited. Finally a waitress stopped by. We ordered Sangria. Waited and waited. Order our app and dinners. Asked for them to be delivered separately. They came together. Our meals were way over cooked. They didn't resemble an omelet or frittata. The whole experience was horrible.
Husbands birthday celebration. Everyone around us was staring not sure if it was due to us being an interracial couple or they are not use to African American men. People behind us was very loud and rude and making comments. Waiter didn’t tell us his name so i do not know which one he was but he was never to be found. He was mostly at another table taking pictures when we were trying to get his attention. Had to flag another waitress to help us. Service was good and the food was excellent. Compliments to the chef that made the meals. The sweet potato fries were mostly under cooked because you could eat and taste the raw potato but the ones that were fully cooked were delicious.
Always an amazing meal with fantastic service. A fantastic establishment that anchors the heart of downtown Milford!
We were not impressed with the food, The serving size was to much food for any of us. No wonder the US has a lot of fat people. I have better seafood in Florida than here.
We went to Stonebridge to celebrate my grandma birthday. She enjoyed every moment of it. The service was fantastic, food was delicious and the prices were moderate. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking an outdoor setting with great music.
Great musician- Chris
The most relaxing time, with perfectly timed entertainment. Food, our server, and the surrounding were perfect!
The pan seared scallops and watermelon salad was delicious with just the right quantity of each ingredient. Our waiter, John, was excellent and new when to come over when we needed him and when to stay away when we were deep in conversation! Nice way to spend a beautiful afternoon on the deck.
This is a great place if you are looking for a special dinner, a light meal or just a drink in a friendly place. The location in the center of Milford is perfect and the setting next to the stream and bridge is just charming. The food is excellent.
Yes, but eating brunch outdoors this Sunday the noise was AWFUL. Also, no fault of the restaurant but as I walked out the door to the patio I was stung by a wasp!!!! Right below my eye. Staff was very solicitous and several patrons offered advice. But it was a miserable couple of hours!!!
A favorite place, food is consistently good. Friendly staff, will return again
The venue is bright and airy. The seating is nicely set up for private conversation or large parties. This venue can achieve any type of event experience! The selection on the menu and specials were wonderful. Something for everyone! Step off the street and you will forget your amidst a work day or casual day. I will be back when I’m in town!
Amazing selection of dishes which makes it difficult to choose. The seafood risotto is devine.....shrimp, scallops, and lobster. YUM!
Great food, excellent service and a comfortable booth. All excellent in this really nice atmosphere. We were a party of 6 and all of our food orders came to us as requested in a comfortable time frame to allow us to fully enjoy each course. The service was excellent and personable despite the busy time we were there.
The only partial negative was the noise level. It was very busy, and a lot of people were talking.
Regardless, we had a wonderful time together and enjoyed great food well prepared and presented.
I alway enjoy the food and friendly service. I love that they have a parking lot.
Brunch was really good, location was great, live music was really good and not too loud
My husband and I have been to Stonebridge restaurant many times before. Unfortunately, the food quality seemed to be lacking and was not as good as it has been in the past. The waitress didn’t seem so concerned with our table and, in fact, she had asked another server to drop the check on our table and no one ever even asked if we wanted dessert. It was a little disappointing…
We weren’t given the cocktail menu or the pris fix early bird menu. When we asked about, someone brought it out. 5 minutes later, that person came back and said that they weren’t offering this menu because they didn’t have all of the ingredients and took the menus back. When we asked our regular server about it, she stated that “they aren’t offering it because the sous chef passed away”. Finally, our server came back with the price fare menus and said that they are serving it. Sorry, that’s pathetic and unprofessional and you most certainly do not use the excuse that someone died! We will never go back!!
Food, service and atmosphere was good. A little high priced for an average brunch. $13.00 for one waffle (menu says waffles) with about 2 strawberries on it? $13.00 for three small pancakes with strawberries? The menu says "all you can eat" pancakes but we were never offered more. Again tasted fine but not much for the money.
We had a fantastic meal, excellent staff from the parking attendent and security to the waitress and chef. Actually picked the restaurant out while driving from VA to MA and had the best meal of our trip. Now we will plan our trip to have a meal there if we are in the area.
The food was great, I had the scallop salad. The server was very friendly. Parking was a hassel. It was a busy Saturday night so we expected service to be a little slow. We were right. We will go back, would recommend to friends. Just be prepared to deal with a crowd if you go on Saturday night.
Outdoor deck overlooking the river had nice ambiance. Parking was very limited and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a space to open up. Our food was good, but my friend, who is vegan, asked our server if the kitchen would prepare a vegan entree for her - it was as if they'd never been asked before? This is 2019! Server seemed less than enthusiastic about simple requests, despite our bill being over $300.
Great food, great staff, great location and ambiance.
Outstanding food and wait staff, kitchen was slow between courses.
The food was ok, but not worth the cost. I had seafood risotto that was supposed to have lobster in it and there was not a single piece of lobster. The table next to me had the same thing and said his risotto had lobster in it. The server tried to make some kind of excuse saying it was in there. I’m not blind or incapable of tasting there was no lobster. The paella was good, we’ve had better for less. The ahi tuna app was good. The bread was the best thing we had. The food was served quickly but the server was not attentive. There is no cell service in the restaurant.
Food was good service was was ok and Check in was poor
The food was great, but the service was lacking. Our waiter spilled a glass of water on me (totally an accident and ok!) but then disappeared after cleaning up the spill. It took us over 30 minutes to flag him down again to get a replacement water. It then took an additional 20 minutes to flag him down for the check.
For the price of this restaurant this service was very disappointing. Also had live music for brunch which was great, but way too loud to enjoy conversation over. Especially for a morning meal.
The food was great.....as usual! It was much too noisy......maybe because it was a HOT, Saturday night?
We reminded ourselves not to sit in the main dining room again! Really prefer outside....but it was too HOT! We did have our favorite waitress though!
The food is really good. Too loud and too many people. A little rowdy but great great food. Perfect for lunch.
Very nice view of river. Food was good. Server was nice but service was slow. Train every ten minutes very distracting when outside
