Steak & Lobster Warren Street
Guided by the directions of the UK Government, we have made the regrettable yet necessary decision to close our restaurant until further notice.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and loyalty during these uncertain times.
We aspire to be the very best in what we do: delivering the finest steak and freshest lobster to your plate. We believe simplicity is key and let the food speak for itself.
With freshly caught lobster and steak from County Antrim in Northern Ireland, we understand the importance of provenance and quality.
Celebrating the finest from land and sea, our signature cuts and lobsters can be enjoyed in their purest form straight from the charcoal grill, on a baked brioche roll or through other exquisite combinations.

Lovely service and the food was delicious. I had the lobster fettuccine it was divine. Lobsters were a reasonable size and steak was fab . Desserts were bonkers
I came here to celebrate my partners birthday, I am 9 months pregnant and the staff couldn't be more helpful.
They ensured my comfort in the table, found me a pillow, advised on how to have my food cooked and were very attentive
The food was lovely and overall the evening was a 5 star!
Outstanding service. Highly recommend. Punctual and tasty.
Located right by Warren Street tube, so convenient. I gave a low score for ambience which was because it was empty bar us. Honestly on this day London was quiet - Coronavirus. The foot was great, good steaks.
Very poor service. Food in main meal unwhelming yet expensive. Dessert was very nice.
Lovely steak, lobster disappointing...very little meat on it. Service fantastic, very competent , friendly and pleasant staff. Ambience disappointing, no real sense of intimacy, and spoiled by overloud piped music. Totally unnecessary. Overall, we did enjoy our meal with the above qualifications which are enough to persuade us to go elsewhere next time.
My third visit, I found that it had changed its menus, and now offers a wider selection of food than before. We still just had steak and lobster, both of which were cooked perfectly to our liking, and tasted delicious. The menu now offers chips or salad, not both, and not unlimited as before. We asked for a jug of tap water, and the waiter filled our glasses. We asked her to leave the jug, but apparently they have a policy which prevents this, so she wouldn’t leave it! Reasonable value for money
Mistake with the bill took forever to rectify! Food fantastic though
Perfect date night. Amazing food, decor and service. However, we both felt the lighting was just too bright and harsh. We will visit again, though.
Amazing food, fantastic service! Had an amazing evening and can't wait to go back again.
Having been before when the menu was slightly different and being one of the best places I have been, it was really disappointing to see how much it has changed and the food just not up to the standard. Smaller portions of fries and not unlimited like before, cold fatty steak and cold lobster. The starters and dessert were really good but for £36 pound for a surf a turf I would of expected the food to not be cold as if it was left out for about 15 minutes. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time so being busy wasn’t really any excuse. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back here again and would of much preferred to have just had a McDonald’s.
Fantastic ambience, food and service! great venue for fine dining
Ive had better lobster elsewhere.
However steak and sauces was very good. Food is good but too expensive for its quality. Restaurant itself was very nice but also it was difficult to get seated intitially as staff were elsewhere and not based at the door
What a fantastic restaurant, with great ambience and mellow music in the background. The food selection and quality was sublime and with service from the staff to match.
Great with friends or for business lunch/dinners or romantic meals as a couple.
The welcome was warm. Waiters were friendly. The dining room was clean and spacious and the food was tasty and well cooked. An all round lovely experience. Would happily go back.
Our family has been to Steak and Lobster once or twice a year for the past 5 years. It is still Ok, but we may not return. The price of lobster has increased and the unlimited salad and fries have vanished. We also booked for my daughters birthday, but the staff did not bring a small birthday treat as in the past. We will probably try elswhere for our next event.
one of the best restaurants ive been to due to the service and food
Birthday celebration, only issue we had was waiting for a table that was pre booked. We waited for 30 minutes but the service was excellent by the waiter
Food was good but service was quite poor. Had a reservation but had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Also, had to call the waiter/waitress a few times during the night so our order could be taken, and twice for the bill to be brought out. Not a bad experience but service should have been better.
The dining area was closed and we ate in the hotel part of the restaurant . We was sat on uncomfortable seating very close to a couple either side . There was no privacy.
The service was slow and our food was brought to the table With no offer of salt and pepper or condiments . We had to got to the bar to ask for them as well as drinks . We didn’t have anyone come to ask if we enjoyed are food or if they could get us anything else . My partner had taking me for Valentine’s Day and was to embarrassed to complain and ask for a reduction on the bill but I feel as if we should have been compensated or offered a complimentary dish or food at the very least. We travelled for hour and a half to get to the restaurant as my partner had been previously and said how amazing it was , we were both left very disappointed .
Nice food but the service was rubbish everything took long waited over an hour for food and drink really didn’t expect this as I have been here before
Very poor experience overall. Came for Valentine’s Day and waited hours for the food to come, the food once it did come was dry and with barely any flavour. As mentioned we spend at least an hour waiting for our main course however when it came to take payment for the meal this was almost instant.
Very disappointing experience will not be coming here again.
Had to send back both of our steaks three times since they were well done when asked for medium rare. Had to ask for salt and pepper twice since the first waiter completely forgot about it. Waiters seemed very new and inexperienced. Not worth the money spent.
Based on my last visit I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends, I waited over an hour for my food after ordering. A couple next to me ordered after me and still received there food before I did.
Eventually when my food arrived my steak wasn’t cooked to the standard I asked for. The waiter advised me if it was to be changed it would take a long to time to be re-done which would’ve been a further inconvenience as I wouldn’t have eaten at the same time as my partner. So I ended up eating burnt food to avoid any further delay.
The whole experience on this day wasn’t up to standard.
We arrived early and was asked to take a seat in the waiting area. We weren't asked if we would like a drink while we waited to begin with, I made a comment to my partner and then we were asked, so I'm not sure if I was overheard. Our reservation was at 8pm, we were sat down at 8:10pm to be told that we had the table till 9:30pm, this made our experience not as relaxing as it could have been because we now only had 1 hour and 20 minutes to order our food and eat it and considering they sat us down 10 minutes late, this took 10 minutes off our time slot.
The food was lovely, if I had wanted a dessert, we would have had 10 minutes to order and eat it.
I don't think I would go again, not because the food was bad, but I like to feel relaxed while having a meal and not have to clock watch.
CSILLA was an amazing waitress she was at out service all the time and was very friendly and smiley .
Terrible food ! Lobster was chewed and old ! Dessert was useless, staff was nice
My daughter and I ate there for a treat, before a hospital stay.
The atmosphere was relaxed, with a good mix of business people who were probably staying at the hotel and visitors to the restaurant.
The service was prompt and very friendly. Although the optional 12.5% service charge was a little high.
We had checked the menu, so we understood the limited options but were keen to try the steaks. Lobster rolls and beef carpaccio for starters were excellent, followed by fabulous fillet steaks (medium rare).
We were so pleased to have chosen Steak and Lobster for our treat and will look forward to returning.
I did'nt enjoy the experience, The staff were very friendly, it's just the food was not value for money and the ambience felt more line having a drink in a hotel lobby.
It may be a great place for meeting someone for a quiet drink and friendly chat but not a restaurant
Very good meal, nice atmosphere and staff helpful and friendly. We will be back
My son’s birthday and he enjoyed the Steak & Lobster
The food was pretty basic for the price. The food small in portion and served in huge plates. The food took a while to come out and it wasn’t busy. And wow the price of the service charge you would think they would sing me Happy birthday lol.
Usually love this place but they have taken away unlimited and fries or salad, was still hungry. Service was slow and poor and bill was nearly 200 for 3 people and only 1 drink. Will not be returning.
So the food was pretty good...and service was great.
But this is like a canteen.
The tables were dirty it’s like being in a school dining hall, not what you want from a night out.
Staff were brilliant, venue and ambience was brilliant, the food for £36 for a surf and turf was shockingly really poor value, the steaks though, stringy full of sinews and fat,I like fat and do believe that is where the flavour comes from, but there was no flavour,I think the buyer is trying to bluff the customer and has got a deal on with some dodgy back street Butcher, has he has with the local fishmonger, the Lobsters were appalling, not a patch on the frozen £5 ones you get in Iceland, trading standards need to know about this dish, their starters and desserts by the way were beautiful.
Hotel restaurant lacking in Ambience as they cram in the tables a bit like a school dinning room
This is a beautiful restaurant, nice and spacious. Lovely vibes.
The food and drinks were just so so delicious and came out fast.
Service and staff also amazing, I dropped a fork by accident and 3 members of staff rushed over, how attentive! I felt like royalty.
I love this place.
Really good food and really good service. The waitresses were very attentive and the restaurant building itself was very elegant and grand. Would recommend this place for a nice dinner and drinks.
The staff was nice and friendly, but the saddest part is their "live lobster" is not as fresh as I expected it to be. This ruined every good part ;(
Very modern and relaxed...waiters were very friendly and professional
