The restaurant is good but for the price you pay I would recommend a tourist to go elsewhere as I have been to other top 50 restaurants and this definitely does not feel like one. When I travel I try and reserve with time a top 50; but this one did not impress me as much. Anyways, food was good but if you are on a short stay at Bangkok go elesewhere. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Our meal at Gaa was fantastic! We opted for the 10 course menu and were not disappointed. Delectable dishes that were simple but at the same time creative due to the infusion of different flavors, melding European and SE Asian. The chilled soup of mango, pumpkin and pickles was so fresh. The chicken liver and longan was a match made in heaven. The crayfish was out of this world, while the cauliflower with caramelized whey blew us away! I do not gravitate to tasting menus I must say, but Gaa's has perhaps made me a convert. Granted this tasting menu is more on the 'affordable' side, but it's culinary delights undoubtedly rival those of its peers/competitors. The one thing we would poke a tiny hole in is the dessert. But this might have more to do with my unsophisticated palate! While interesting, the egg fruit (lamut?) ice cream left a very odd aftertaste. But I do not dwell on that note, as the aftertaste in general of Gaa is one of pure scrumptiousness! Thanks for making our anniversary a tasty and memorable one! MoreOpenTable Diner -
