What a find!!! Incredible food, better service, great wine! What else do you need?!
Lovely cozy atmosphere in this neighborhood favorite. Loved being here
Never disappoints. Food was excellent. Service the best.
Very nice dinner and atmosphere. The piano player was awesome! Extremely good food and the price was very reasonable. Perfect spot for our Anniversary.
Fantastic Easter lunch. Champagne brie soup is a staple there and so very good. I had Steak Diane, fabulous. Followed by Godiva white chocolate cheesecake. Yummy. Wait staff is superb. Don't miss this gem. We've been going there for about 40 years. Very quaint and wonderful.
brie soup was good. the duck and sea bass was ok but lacked any flavor
An amazing go-to spot for special occasions! You'll truly have a memorable time and want to come back for their wonderful staff, awesome dishes, and lovely ambience~
This is a gem of a place. The best place I have been in a long time. The service and food is by far the best I have ever had. I really can't stress enough how great this place is. Iris and gabby at the bar as well as the owners that greet you at the door treat everyone like they are important and worth a million bucks. I took my wife Sydney there for her birthday and her friend Ebony and they were so impressed by the food and the service. Plus they have live piano music which relaxes you while you enjoy the night... so awesome.
Reliably good, friendly service - love the piano music. Old school in a good way.
The most romantic restaurant in Dallas. One of our long time favorites for a special night out. Great food, great service, very knowledgeable staff.
I have been eating at St. Martins for at least 15 years and I have never been disappointed. The food, staff, and piano player are always top-notch.
What a find! Charming, romantic, delicious and a fantastic piano player. Super date night place. We’ll be back!
Amazing restaurant with the best food! Romantic atmosphere as well.
James, our waiter, was outstanding. It was our first and certainly not our last visit to St. Martin's!
Amazing live piano music
This is hands down, the best restaurant in Dallas for a romantic dinner for two!!!
Food and service are always on point! We never miss an anniversary dinner here and will be visiting more often.
The food and service was amazing! Highly recommend!
Great Music. Great Food. Great Service. All around 5 Star Experience.
Food was superbly prepared and perfectly presented. Waiter, JD, polite and helpful; no rushing us through our courses. Escargot in a cream sauce, salad with pear and beets both delicious. Rack of lamb medium rare cooked to perfection. Valet parking free. Perfect evening with live pianist.
Loved this place! The food is amazing and the atmosphere reminds me of my time in France. Thank you for brining a little piece of France to Dallas!
One of my favorite spots in Dallas!
Great place to enjoy a nice, quiet romantic dinner. Piano playing creates a beautiful ambiance and the food and service are great. Excellent wine list. Perfect place for a birthday or anniversary.
Excellent service and delicious food. We’ll be back.
St. Martin's was excellent. We took friends who had never experienced this restaurant. They thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated it. We will be back.
Been coming here for about 15 years. The quality has never wavered! It's still the best nice restaurant in Dallas. It's been in business for over 40 years (43, maybe?), which really says something in Dallas's fickle restaurant scene. In fact, our waitress said she first met the owner when she was 12 months old! Her mother has always been a fan of the restaurant, and she even had the famous champagne-brie soup when she was pregnant with her. Our waitress was literally built from that soup!
One of our favorite restaurants to celebrate our anniversary!
We were visiting Dallas from OKC and looking for a nice place to have a romantic dinner date. This place could not have been more perfect!! Low lit, with accent lighting that sets the mood, quiet and cozy with small intimate tables. There was a live piano player that provided the background music. The waiter was very helpful, attentive, and kind. We will be making trips from OKC just to eat at this restaurant!
Great place all around
Dallas' little slice of a Hell's Kitchen bistro At St. Martin's one can escape our Texas sensibilities for a couple of hours. 'A nice interlude.
The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. One of the finest restaurants in the Dallas area.
Menu seems dated. Heavy sauces.
We enjoyed a fabulous anniversary evening at St Martin - awesome food, great wine, perfect service! One of Dallas’ best restaurants, without a doubt.
Our server, Persia, was fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, conversational, informative...just lovely. The ambience in the back room by the fireplace was excellent. The restaurant in general is very cozy, old world and romantic. The mussels appetizer was superior. The main meal choices we made were not as good. The lemon sole had too much heavy sauce on it. The steak was okay. We will return but try different main meals.
Manhattan cocktail just average--recommend using Carpano Antica Formula vermouth and a REAL [Luxardo] maraschino cherry;
Excellent pianist, but much too loud.
We chose this for a special anniversary meal based on the good reviews. We found it to be okay, but nothing really special. The valet parking and service was nice. The restaurant was darker and louder than we expected. We were seated in the bar area; perhaps the other area was nicer. The piano was nice. Food was good, but not anything exceptional. We enjoyed the champagne brie soup the most. The beef burgundy had a good flavor, but the meat wasn't very tender. The seafood dish (with lobster, crab, scallops and shrimp) was tasty, but had way more mushrooms than expected - about half mushrooms and half seafood. Sides were mediocre at best - garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus with carrots. The vegetables were very firm and crunchy. I was surprised that the bathrooms have not been updated. They felt small and cramped with flimsy wooden doors. Overall, I would say it wasn't a bad dining experience, just not what I would expect based on the price.
Excellent. Will be back. Valet service was poor. You need 2 valet attendants.
Had a wonderful experience from the minute we walked through the door. The ambiance, service, wine and food was amazing. Great spot for a special occasion!
Beyond excellent service. Really appreciated the complimentary birthday cake.
Continue to be impressed by the ambiance and food! Our service wasn’t great this time but if we had another waiter I have no doubt that it would’ve been perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
