    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at Spencer’s! We chose Spencer’s to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday, and what an AMAZING dining experience! From the food to the atmosphere to the exceptional service, the evening was everything we hoped for and more! First, the FOOD! Absolutely delicious! From the Caesar salad and perfectly prepared steaks and lamb chops to the creamy mac and cheese, roasted carrots, and fresh bread, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. And the special birthday dessert was the perfect ending to an already wonderful evening! But what truly elevated our experience was the OUTSTANDING service from Erik, our waiter, and Rene, his assistant! These two were absolutely FANTASTIC! Their attentiveness, professionalism, warm personalities, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcomed and cared for throughout the evening. They demonstrated what exceptional fine dining service should look and feel like! As someone who values experiences just as much as great food, I cannot say enough about how special they made this birthday celebration. Spencer’s, you have two absolute gems in Erik and Rene! Please recognize them for the outstanding experience they provide your guests. We came to celebrate a milestone birthday, enjoyed an incredible meal, and left with wonderful memories! 10/10 — HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will absolutely be back! ❤️🥂

    In my opinion if you want to spend money for a good steak in the SLC area Capital Grill or Ruth's Chris would be a better choice. the steaks were good....more expensive than the above mentioned but the sides came out only warm. My butter add on was not melted on my Wagyu filet which tells me it had been sitting for awhile..cocktails were fine. Our waiter seemed harried even though it did not look that crowded. We weren't impressed

    Steaks were good.. But ordered the beet heirloom burrata salad... Less is more- they were not heirloom tomatoes- and it was as just too much fluff. Green been side- frozen beans. Not good. French onion soup - bland.

    Service was very slow although it was not busy . Drinks took 20 minutes . Presentation of the filet mignon not existent. The regular filet Mignon tasted better than the wagyu filet mignon (20’dollar difference ). Burger was ordered medium rare , appeared well done . The waitress did offer to either get another one or take it off the bill . It was just a very disappointing experience for a high price .

    I love this place but it was a little off this visit. The temperature in the rare room was like being in a meat locker and the service was extremely slow. We still enjoyed our time but we were freezing and the food took forever. The changed a few things on the menu and what we wanted was not on the current menu. I would Give this visit 2/5 but this one visit won’t change my overall love for the restaurant. The Rare room was decorated really fun for Halloween which I thought was awesome.

    I have been going to Spencers for almost 20 years. I have never had a bad meal until last night. The quality of my steak and the lack of seasoning was a severe downgrade from my previous experiences. It was comparable to Outback steakhouse at 3 X the cost.

    Timing was off, received drinks one at a time, some with starters, one after the starter. French onion soup was terrible, received one of our sides after the entree’s were eaten, never did see the second side until it appeared on the bill. Steak was okay, but nothing better than what you can grill at home. Atmosphere was not too loud and server had a pleasant attitude.
