Sorrento’s Ristorante at Tsillan Cellar’s owner, Dr. Bob Jankelson, admits that the food of Italy captured him before he developed his interest in wine. Dozens of teaching trips to Italy instilled an appreciation of Italian cuisine paired with food friendly wine shared with friends and family. The same meticulous attention to detail evident in Tsillan Cellars stunning Italian architecture and grounds, transfers to a kitchen that brings world class dining to the shores of Lake Chelan. In winter, the inviting Italian fireplace and panoramic views of Lake Chelan and snow clad mountains blend with award winning food and wine to leave indelible memories. Outstanding ambiance, food, wine and service--- four reasons Sorrento’s Ristorante at Tsillan Cellars was named OpenTable Top 100 Scenic Restaurants in America in 2014.

We had a most enjoyable Father's Day brunch at Sorrento's. The Northwest Benedict was delicious, as was my husband's Maguerita Pizza, although he would have liked more mozzarella on it. The waitress was wondreful, checking back very often. The ambience was beautiful, inspired by Italy, with lovely fountains, & flowers everywhere. We will most definitely return!

Great food, friendly staff, perfect view and lovely wine. The only slightly negative thing I could say is the food could have been served slightly warmer... Regardless, a perfect evening.

Horrible bread
My husband had steak, very nice but carrots were close to raw. I ordered eggplant parmigiana, an interesting interpretation of a classic dish but breading so thick and slightly burned could not taste the eggplant, also very dry. Overall very disappointing. Very expensive for such mediocre quality.

The atmosphere was great, the view was gorgeous and just walking around was beautiful. My family all had good food, however, when I got my chicken Marsala, the chicken texture was rubbery and the sauce was fine, but not worth 28 dollars.

This restaurant is a destination unto itself. We are elated to have discovered Sorrento. Chelan is a beautiful place of course, but Tsillan and Sorrento take it to a whole other level. We will return to Chelan JUST for a visit to this restaurant/winery. The grounds are like being transported to Italy - everywhere you look is another waterfall, koi pond or pristine garden. With surroundings like these, they could take a short cut on food and service, but they elevate those too! My companion had the steak and I had the pistachio mustard crusted lamb. Both were mouthwatering and on par with any 5 star in San Francisco. The caesar was perhaps the best I've tasted. We finished with dessert - don't miss the Butterscotch dish! You'll thank me! Additionally, the service was fantastic, attentive, and classy through and through. The general manager was present and checking in with each guest to ensure their satisfaction. That is always a good omen! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. We cannot wait to return!

Great location and amazing food. We had beef and pasta seafood. Both were excellent. The tiramisu was a great closer. And of course the Tsillan Malbec was perfect.

Beautiful view!

To be the best it needs to:

1. Read the notes on OpenTable from the customer.
2. Allow customers to try a sip of wine to help them with the decision.
3. Have more shades for the outside tables.

Sorrento's Ristorante is our favorite destination restaurant. We like the food and the service. The views of waterfalls, koi swimming, vineyards, and Lake Chelan are so beautiful. We make reservations for lunch or dinner when we want to meet friends in Chelan or when we show out-of-town visitors what Wenatchee and Chelan have to offer. A special occasion brunch buffet, set outside in the protected courtyard, is a favorite memory, too. Wow, that was a delicious feast! Along side Tsillan Cellars (winery)--it is a good place for buying award-winning wines and gifts.

Love Sorrento’s and always have dinner there when in Chelan. However disappointed to see a few items no longer on the menu such as the caprese salad and pesto prawns which now you can only get with linguine. For those who like to skip pasta it is a tough choice since the prawns have always been my favorite. Views there are spectacular and overall ambeiance is wonderful

Food was look, spaghetti tasted like ragu. It was my wife's birthday and I specified in the Note 2 have Chardonnay available because that was her favorite. When we got there it was crossed off of the menu because it was sold out, disappointed there was no other white wine that she enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. The sun was setting and someone continue to play with the sunshade which caused the sun to beat down on our table making it uncomfortably hot and in the eyes.

It was a gorgeous setting to have lunch with girlfriends. The food was wonderful as was the wine. The server was newer, but she did a wonderful job and had a great personality. Two things would have improved our visit would have been an umbrella for a little shade in then garden and a quicker check out process. It took a long time to pay before leaving

Host did not acknowledge the reservation or the special occasion. Mentioned it to the host and the server but nothing. Front house staff seemed unsure of themselves and only engaged with locals. Shows poor training by front house manager. It was our 31st Anniversary and the first restaurant that did nothing about it. The wine was excellent. We’ll go to the winery but not the restaurant unless there are significant changes. We felt bad for the staff as it appeared there leaders did not prepare the for success in service.

Food, service, & wine was great. Our only complaint would be the moving of tables and chairs. We were the last table in the restaurant and they started sitting up for an event while we were finishing up our meal. Dragging tables & chairs around the restaurant and right near where we were sitting. It felt like they were trying to push us out even though the restaurant was still considered open.
