Great food, great atmosphere, overall a wonderful place to spend a Saturday night! Don’t miss the bread and butter- it’s worth it.
We have been regulars at Single Shot since they opened. On this occasion, we were introducing my brother-in-law visiting from Los Angeles to Single Shot so he could appreciate why we spoke so highly of it...and he was not disappointed. Everything was exceptional. We highly recommend Single Shot to anyone wanting a great gastronomical experience.
We sat at the bar and had a fun evening of chatting just the two of us and conversing with the bar tender, owner, and wait staff. Food was delicious as were the cocktails and wine the bartender recommended. Awesome menu, great wine / cocktail list, cozy but lively environment, and great people. Add this to your list of go-to places.
Staff was very accommodating. Had to add two additional people to the reservation and also push back the time. Staff was able to do this for us with no problem!
Great food.. especially cauliflower and ribs. Super cocktail.
The risotto maybe overcooked but i m italian, we have different habits about pasta and risotti
Really nice place and service! I would come back
The food is always good!
It wasn't terribly loud, but it was loud for me since I have difficulty speaking even in semi-loud places. I loved the space and the feeling. The food was really good and I appreciated the drink menu and digestif options.
Small plates, large plates. My wife and I enjoyed two small plates — heirloom tomatoes with burrata and caramelized cauliflower with whipped chèvre — and a large plate — bowl of risotto with sautéed chanterelles. All were prepared with a fine touch. It’s a small cafe-like restaurant and we dined early. Reservations may be in order for anything past 7 pm. A very good evening.
Love this neighborhood spot! Everything is so lovely~ the food, ambience and staff. Never disappoints!
Single shot was a great setting for our small birthday celebration and for my wife’s return from a long trip overseas. Comfortable and familiar surroundings and excellent conscientious service with unique and tasty dishes.
Food was excellent. My two friends and I ordered a bunch of small plates, shared a main and ordered dessert, all delicious. I love how the menu changes with the season but the quality stays consistently high. I moved out of Seattle a year ago but it’s still my go-to place when I come through town.
What a lovely spot! We had dinner here last Saturday night. There was only bar seating available which turned out to be so nice! Who wouldn’t enjoy sitting at a beautiful white marble bar with lots of fresh cut flowers all around, chatting with the bartender who is not only personable, but makes absolutely delicious and unusual cocktails!
We ordered a few small plates which turned out to be not so small! Plus one large plate, the pork chop most of which we had to take home we were so full. We had grilled avocado with Dungeness crab, caramelized cauliflower with goat cheese, and the burratta. They also have a great selection of wines. Can’t wait to go back , next time will save room for dessert!
Singleshot has become our favorite neighborhood restaurant for nights where we treat ourselves to quality. From their cocktails and wines, to seasonal fresh menu - our high expectations are always met or exceeded.
I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly with crispy skin and great seasoning. The service was engaging and friendly without being intrusive. Such a great spot
The ambiance is just Seattle cool. All the staff are attentive and happy to provide you the right amount of attention. The manager Ruidhri is one of the nicest guys you could meet. The whole experience at Single Shot is a pleasant way to spend time in Seattle.
We went here for our anniversary, and it was fantastic! Sat at the bar with a clear view of everything. Delicious food and wonderful waitstaff. Definitely recommend!
After a 1 hour and 15 minutes at Single Shot we were only served bread, butter, and cheese (we paid for bread and butter) with our wine, while we watched the ribs and salmon we ordered be delivered to 2 other other tables who sat down 15 and 30 minutes after us. When we brought this to the attention of our server in a very nice way, she complained that we were served bread, butter and cheese, so could wait. We then decided we would like the check and she said, "I have it covered. Feel free to leave". This was our 4 year wedding anniversary which was notated on Open Table reservation request. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant without paying the bill which was very offensive. I would only return to Single Shot if this server is no longer part of the food service team.
Date got sick from crab omelette.
Great neighborhood restaurant...will be going back very soon...!
First they were overbooked. We waited at the bar. Then in 45 min we got our salad. We complained and asked the rest of the food to arrive faster. Our bread order that we had asked when we sat down came in a hour after we sat. Instead of bringing what we asked they decided to give us additional appetizer that we didn’t order, which delayed us getting what we ordered. In 1:45 hours we got the last appetizers. Main course was risotto, probably worst risotto ever, more like rice soup. Will not go back.
Single Shot is the best! Service, food, and drinks were all lovely.
Fantastic food and great service. Loved that the wine list had numerous Old World selections as well as local wines. True care with the vegetable plates that made each an exceptional experience. The entree that we shared after eating 4 small plates was fabulous We had a wonderful time.
Highly recommend the small plates ... although the entrees are also wonderful. Nice relaxed vibe ... take an Uber ...
Great place for a weekend brunch or visit after work
Great food and service.
Pretty poor service from our server.
Fantastic service and great food and always a wonderful place to go
Great food and service. Wonderful restaurant with shareable small plates and large plates.
The food was perfection. The flavor, texture, freshness and visual appeal was excellent. I have eaten in a lot of great places, but this was right up there. The service and casual yet respectful style added to the experience. The price was a little high, but justified by excellence.
Service was lacking for the start. We tried to cut the server some slack because it seemed like she was the only one and the restaurant was full. This was suppose to be our fun meal/drinks before a concert at Showbox but it ended up almost putting us to sleep with the crazy slow service and lack of enthusiasm our service had.
Food was decent, but not outstanding enough to warrant the price and not even close to cancelling out the bad service.
We won’t be giving this place another try.
Amazing food, service and drinks. What more do you want?
Nice local neighborhood gem.
Beyond spectacular - food, ambience, drinks and bar tender - we will be back too soon
I really like this small neighborhood restaurant. The bartender made some excellent cocktails. The wait staff was attentive and just the right balance of professional and friendly. The decor is very cool. We loved all 4 appetizers and 2 main courses. Very well done and our foodie friends from out of town agreed.
Food was pretty good. I loved the cauliflower! The service left a lot to be desired. Plus, I'm always a little peeved when a restaurant thinks they're food is so good that they don't need to put salt and pepper on the table. I'm sorry, but your risotto needed salt! And since the service was lacking, I never got the chance to ask for any salt...
We dined at the bar and had a wonderful selection of small plates to share—a salad, asparagus with crab, a flatbread and spareribs. Everything was seasonal and delicious! The server made sure that our meal was well paced and our drinks were replenished.
Food was great but they took an hour to serve our entree
So delicious. Drinks are yummy. The asparagus with dungeness and bernnaise was delightful!! Highly recommend!
Had an early dinner at Single Shot where we had four small plates for two people, the perfect amount. The grilled asparagus with crab was especially tasty, and our considerate server offered us extra toast for our burrata plate! The only downer is that when it fills up, it makes getting in and out of the back seats pretty difficult as the tables are quite close together, but we will definitely be returning.
Food & drink creative & well-executed, but very limited choices. Noise level is sufficiently distracting from ordinary conversation to give pause to a return visit.
