Whenever we're in town, we eat Siegel's Prime Rib almost every night. We're tried all the specials and this is the best!
This was such a nice surprise! The prime rib was perfect, good prices and portions, grest customer service and loved the ambiance. Will definitely go back!
This place is disgusting. Worst place I’ve ever eaten in my life. Do yourself a favor and head over to Burger King for higher quality food than what’s served here.
Great little diner. We had a fabulous dinner and even better server.
The burgers were awesome. Wish they did have their full menu at this time
The food was good. The service was excellent. Even though it was at 1am, it was not noisy, which I'm glad about
Always a good meal here
Service has a lot to be desired with wait times and attentiveness of staff.
Delicious food at reasonable prices! Great attentive service
Expected this restaurant to be classy but it's a diner basically. Breakfast prices were too high.
We had the Prime rib dinner for $14.99 and it was beautiful and delicious.
Service needs work. We waited and waited while the hostess cashed out guest after guest until she was finally able to seat us.
Nancy was not an attentive waitress. No refills, I asked for more ketchup which never came.
Waited for the bill which she finally dropped on the table without a word as she was passing by to another table.
There were 3-4 tables plus us and 3 servers. We should have been catered to.
Since the pandemic, service is not good because they have been short staffed. The food is good and it is a good value. It is a calm place where you can get a good meal and talk. No frills.
Much more sparse with the COVID-BS. The food was good, service was good enough. No complaints.
I ordered the house special that isn't on the menu, roast beef. Tasty and cooked to perfection
Really wanted to love this place but the prime rib was just ok and the salad lettuce had wilted. The service was pretty meager as well though friendly.
Good value in a nice place, remember to make a reservation. I saw quite a few people turned away because they're only operating at 25% occupancy and reservations are required. Given the fewer tables, I thought we would get great service, however, they must have cut service staff significantly. Though I knew that the whole restaurant wouldn't be open given the restrictions, I expected better seating. They crammed all the tables into the front section of the restaurant, meaning a couple good tables and the rest were small tables in undesirable spots. There were just a couple of waitresses that were running steady to service all the tables, not what I was expecting from what seemed like would be a mid-to-upscale type of place. On the bright side, the food was very good and the prices were excellent. Overall, Siegel's will be on my list to dine in the future.
While the service was excellent the food was okay
It was absolutely fabulous. I normally get sassy Linda but today we had an equally fun and attentive gentleman. Food was delish. Pot roast is out of this world with and with a glass of wine, yum! Chicken and waffles are clean and fresh, don’t forget the ice cream, it’s just pedestrian without! Great value and charm!
Fish & Chips were horrible. Tasted like frozen Gordon's fish sticks
Buillt in 1941, the picture of the past were interesting, the food was okay, the service not so great.
Not what it’s made out to be I would have gotten a better dinner at McDonald’s
Super bummed about this experience. I had heard it was one of the oldest restaurants in Vegas and that it was great price for great food with an old Vegas vibe. This was not the experience we had at all. It felt like a sad, forgotten dinner with sub par food and service. Even the silverware was chinsey with sharp edges that were uncomfortable to hold as we cut our steak. Definitely would not recommend and am disappointed I wasted the time and money on this.
I love this place great food great atmosphere and the prices are great I love this place
The pictures are misrepresenting of the place! Sadly disappointed! It’s nothing more than a glorified coffee shop.
Nice adult atmosphere for the price. Great History.
Anniversary lunch
Customer service is HORRIBLE! People that were seated after us, received their drinks and placed their food orders BEFORE anyone stopped by our table! I literally had to get up and talk to the hostess that sat us to get someone to our table! It was beyond ridiculous and I will never come back! Not to mention the food had zero flavor!!!
Great diner at the El Cortez! It's not fancy, but the service is good and friendly and the food is really good for the price. Will definitely go here again when I'm in Vegas.
Our Server was attentive. Some confusion upon seating with reservation.
Not impressed, food was ok
Great atmosphere! Really love how this restaurant feels. We've eaten here a couple times a year for about 4 years. Food pre-covid was absolutely amazing, so it might not be totally fair to judge our mediocre meal on this past trip to Vegas. It wasn't very busy due to restricted dining, so the slow service was very obvious. Still, I don't think you should miss out on dining at this great bit of Vegas history! We probably just arrived on an off night.
Our waiter Mark was very good. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We didn’t notice spaghetti on the menu and he said of course we could have it. He listened to our special needs for my husband and it was done We had a very nice meal and can’t wait to get back.
The Salmon, liver and salad were very good. Potato was old. Waiter brought out new ones. Menu was limited. Was not expecting that
Went for dinner downtown Vegas. Menu was more limited than expected but overall food was good. Better for lunch than dinner. Prices were very reasonable for portions.
Servicio amable, ambiente retro
Great "old school" place to eat on Fremont Street (and 6th). Value outstanding and food is good. Obviously why many locals dine there.
I had christmas dinner at siegels and it was very good turkey was moist and side dishes were also good
Was disappointed that the turkey dinner discount needed 1 players card per dish. Too much gravy. Not much value at $25.
The prime rib however is excellent and a good value.
We had the Prime Rib special and the Matzo Ball soup. Both were completely awesome. Our waiter was also excellent. The food as delivered promptly and piping hot. We felt that our meal was a bargain in every way.
Food was OK for the price. Definitely has an old Vegas vibe.
Good food great price
