Very loud and noisy atmosphere. We sat at a table near the window and the view was beautiful but we were constantly interrupted by people taking pictures next to the table. Also it took forever to get the bill and pay. Other than that, the food was amazing!!
Food and service were great. Menu is a bit limited, could use a few more options.
What an AMAZING date night for myself and my husband. They got us sat with a wonderful view and our service was outstanding!!
The food was spectacular!!!
We were on a staycation in Dallas and wanted a great steak place. Ser delivered a dining experience from the friendly hostess all the way through to our valet. We savored our courses enveloped in soft jazz and city views. We will be back! 🏆
Food, views, and service incredible. Frank was an attentive and knowledgeable server. Only slight down side is dress code was not enforced, so there were people in shorts and T-shirts for a Friday night dinner.
I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and in the notes I requested a table by the window to see the fireworks display. I called 2 days before and left a message asking about the request. I called the day of my reservation and got to talk to the hostess. She told me that she saw the note and at 8:00 it shouldn’t be an issue to get the table I requested. When we showed up at 8:00 she took us to the other side of the restaurant and didn’t even mention that they couldn’t accommodate. It’s the ONLY reason we were there. Never said anything about a wait list or first come first serve. What’s the point of a reservation then?? We had a baby 6 months ago and haven’t had a night out alone. I made the reservation well in advance. I followed up twice. We spent $320 and didn’t even finish our steaks because there was zero flavor in them. It took 25 minutes of waiting for a server before I got up to ask the hostess who was working with us. I am not a complainer and always make the best out of any situation, but I need to draw the line here. The Anatole primarily gets visited by tourists and probably never sees repeat business. This is a poor representation of a Dallas steak house. The manager did let my wife borrow a shawl because the A/C was blowing directly on her and the server was very nice. Actually even though the hostesses didn’t communicate effectively they were still nice. I guess the main issue is that I paid too much for this tourist trap and expected more from a Dallas “staple”. Definitely won’t be coming back on any mommy daddy nights.
We had an unfortunate experience tonight. We had reservations and were immediately sat at a table. However, we then sat and waited and waited and waited.... finally, a manager stopped by and took our order. The food came really quick and then that was the last we saw of the wait staff. We had to flag someone down to report an overcooked steak and ask for water refills. Paying over $200 for 4 meals, I would expect better service. :/
We went for our wedding anniversary.
-The food was good, not great. I guess we were expecting better for the price paid.
-Service was also good, not great. It felt like the server was absent a little longer than expected, quite a few times. He was pushing menu items rather than suggesting. It was obvious he was trying too hard to up his tip with high-value items vs earning it by providing a better personalized/caring service, which we've had at many way cheaper chain restaurants.
-The ambiance was awesome. A couple even proposed right next to us as we were finishing our dinner.
-The value of the experience wasn't too far from what was expected, just the food wasn't all we expected for the price (it was decent) and the service could have been a little better, more real.
We were disappointed with the experience and food for the expense. For $400 for two people we expect to be blown away. This was not the case. The server was polite but did not give any info regarding the food other then vague details readily available on the menu.
We order the cheese board which was left at our table without any description of the items on the plate which in my experience is usually done. The tomahawk
Was very good however the lobster tail was dry and cold. The potatoes were incredibly bland. The hen mushrooms were delicious . Dessert was the molten cake which was decent but nothing special. We have spent half that at Bobs and had superior food and experience. We will not be returning .
Food and ambience and view were amazing. Waiter was a little abrupt and inattentive but overall everything was great
Anniversary dinner, special evening with view at window table. Waygu filet delicious! Restaurant treated us to special dessert to end the evening.
My BF and I had not been here recently especially since it changed to SER from Nana. We were celebrating his birthday. Impressed with the high levels of accountability and service standards of bar tending and wait staff. We had filets and they were Incredible. Mac and cheese is amazing. American wagyu didn’t compare with the rap thing or the regular filet so don’t waste your money. Desserts are delicious and portions are great.
Incredible view and interior ambiance. Steaks, SER salad, and whipped potatoes were delicious. Great wine selection and live piano entertainment made the atmosphere fun. Our server Frank was awesome. Will be back!
Outstanding service from start to finish! The food was delicious and satisfying. Will definitely return.
Ambiance was spectacular, service was phenomenal, the drinks we amazing. I was disappointed by the ribeye. I ordered it med rare which they did get correct, but the flavor was bland and had a burnt charcoal taste to it. The one food item that was amazing was the baked macaroni, it was the best macaroni I’ve ever had. Our other side was the poutine, which I do not recommend.
The food is as delicious as the view and the staff could not be more wonderful
I recommend the Colorado lamb and baked macaroni
What a wonderful experience! The food was amazing! We enjoyed a beautiful view of the city.
We were seated near the kitchen and could hear the employees calling out orders all evening. It was distracting. the lights from the kitchen also put a horrible glare on the glass so all we could see was the reflection of the kitchen in the window.
A beautiful restaurant, incredible views of Dallas, wonderful ambience, delightful piano music. We chose this for the Restaurant Week meal. Superb food, wonderful, personable waitstaff and marvelous manager. We will return. Perfect for many occasions!
A good restaurant with great food and good drinks (Texas Old Fashioned was not worth the money). My wife and I went for restaurant week and both had the salad and steak with dessert. The food was great though I looked at their regular menu and, to me, it would not have been worth the cost. Due to it being summer and the hotel having a big water themed area for kids, I would not recommend going here for a romantic dinner this time of year...numerous kids and adults wearing shorts and t-shirts, and standing right next to your table to get a picture of themselves with the skyline. The service was nice and overall a good place but not the best.
Food was good, we were disappointed that we weren't offered the Restaurant Week menu. Waiter always seemed rushed, this was our first time at SER.
Food taste great however the cooks were unable get my wife’s steak cooked as medium well. She was only able eat 1/3 of the steak after returning it.
SER is one of our favorite places. We went tonight fir Restaurant Week. As always, the food and the service were exceptional. It’s always an amazing night out. P
SER never disappoints! Food was awesome and so was the staff!
We had a wonderful time and took advantage of the Dallas Restaurant Week special menu. The sunset and view of the Dallas skyline with the reflection of the setting sun were spectacular.
We took our son to dinner for his 5th birthday and he loved the views and the food was AMAZING! We will be back on our next trip to Dallas!
A very good experience in dining.
Great food and wonderful ambience! The view is outstanding.
Dined in for restaurant week and every course was exceptional. The view was stunning. I wish could eat here regularly.
We went for Restaruant Week and had the filet. We ordered medium rare. What was strange was that it was grayish on the inside and not a dark red. It was good and tender but not the red meat color one expects. It was a nice evening with a spectacular view of downtown.
Everything was wonderful; service and food were excellent.
The hostesses could be more welcoming and the service was a little slow compared to previous visits, but the food was impeccable. All 4 courses were absolutely 5-star in both presentation and flavor. The appetizer was literally the best scallops that I’ve EVER had. Highly recommend!
Everything was wonderful!!! What a special treat for our 3rd anniversary! Exceptional food and view and service! Can see how rated top ten in Dallas
Service was stupendous. Steaks would melt in your mouth. Ask for Richard if you go!
Great meal! 1/2 table went on restaurant week and 1/2 went on menu and even took a portion off menu completely. The breads and better are a nice start. Enjoyed scallops and salads followed by great steaks. Wine was matched well.
Flourless cake wasn’t the best but the millionaires ice cream cake was fabulous. Frank, Jr did a great job serving us! The view can’t be beat at Sunset in DFfW.
We came for Restaurant Week, and really enjoyed their special menu! The 6 oz. filets were terrific - so tender and buttery, regardless of how they were cooked.
The food was very good. The view was very nice. The staff other than our waitress was excellent. Our waitress was terrible. I asked her for more water and she never brought it. She just was not very good at all.
We celebrated a graduation at SER and it was amazing. We were greeted and treated like VIP. The service was exceptional. The food was amazing. And the view of downtown could not be beat. Highly recommended!
We have been going to See for a while now...at least 3 years, and it is getting progressively mediocre. Our last visit our server was severely under trained and made countless errors with our order, cocktails and overall his table side manner and just bad. Food was okay but not what is was in the past. I'm thinking maybe they had a management change that is going through some bumps. We will be back, but it will be way in the future. We are saddened because it used to the so good.
