Seasons 52 - Oak Brook
It would be really nice if they had more Gluten Free items available such as crackers, chips or bread
I proposed marriage to my now bride-to-be; our first date was at Seasons Oak Brook so it was only right that I proposed there!
Boring limited menu. Very limited in seafood and steak selections. The restaurant was out of filet mignon at 6:30 on a Saturday-this is 100% inexcusable. Poor selection of appetizers. Sea bass served frozen in the middle on two of our entres as if they just pulled it from a bag. Filet was served with gravy. Ordered a side of risotto- under cooked and gross. Do no understand what the hype was about this restaurant. I will not be going back again. Absolutely pass.
Our server, I believe his name is Ken, was great. The four star instead of my usual 5's for this location is because the wrong appetizer was brought out and corrected with no apology. My friend had completely finished before mine arrived with no apology. I am not one that expects something free for an error of this nature, but I do expect an apology. It was not Ken who brought out or corrected the problem, it was a woman who was slightly unpleasant. Not something I expect at Seasons 52.
The food was good, just not as good as it usually is.
Staff was very good and listened to our request for a quiet, corner and round table. Food was excellent and served hot.
Met my aunts for dinner. We were sat in the bar where there were a few people being loud, but overall we could easily hear each other and talk. Food was very good. Meals were mostly in the $20 rang. The waiter was nice, seemed to want to get on to the next table as quickly as possible. Overall good experience.
Normally a favorite so I brought an old friend here. Our server Sonya as always was super. I gave the food and 3 and not worse because the mushroom flatbread was fabulous. Loving crabcakes so much, he ordered a double. He didn’t seem to be saying too much about them and had almost a whole one left,so I tried it. The crabcake was fishy and salty with no other flavor. I had the scallops with risotto which were so flavorless I asked for a take home box and added lemon and seasoning at home. The broccolini was delicious. What a disappointment and a waste of money. Hope it was just an off day in the kitchen but thankful for the flatbread.
server was great. Food was dry and looked like it had been sitting
The wait staff provided excellent service. The management was attentive and asked about our experience there. We will be back.
Always terrific. Great service, terrific food and never rushed. This is my go to restaurant that I can always count on.
Just a really bad experience ... bad service, bad attitude as if they were doing us a favor
Birthday dinner for my brother. Great food, great service, great time!
EVERYTHING was fabulous! Bacon corn flat bread, panzenella salad, chicken in a pot all delicious. Great place to dine! On the rare occasion they do something wrong they make it right! Great servers and management. Always leave happy and sated!!!
I’ve been to the oak brook location a couple of times prior to my last visit. I had a good time and the food was good. The waiter/server was responsive to our needs. The restaurant was clean and looked fine. We were there celebrating my son’s birthday and the restaurant and waiter made it a memorable experience. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is what matters most.
Overall great !
We were seated promptly and our server, Nyssa, greeted up quickly and took our drink orders. Nyssa helped my husband decide between two entree choices and she was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. The food was prepared perfectly and tasted great. We will absolutely be back.
Celebrated my wife’s birthday. Food was very good.
Fantastic food and ambiance everything was perfect appetizers are amazing
Terrific service great prices definitely would highly recommend it
Been there many times always Good
Always fresh, seasonal offerings with delicious and innovative flatbread appetizers. Soups, salads and lunch specials are varied, delicious and reasonably priced. Great wine list with terrific summer roses including Whispering Angel and Vanderpump Rose.
Great as usual. Its our go to place.
Service always good.
Restaurant quite slow for a Friday night. Had nice corner table for the four of us. Overall food very good, high quality. Waitress was tops and she had a great sense of humor.
Head Chef chatted with us, we commented on the grilled cauliflower that was served with the pork tenderloin entree. We told him it “needed a little work”. If he reads this comment, he will remember us.
Overall a very nice evening. Oh, BTW, today’s bar tenders have trouble with a drink called a Rusty Nail, this bar tender did quite well for a change.
All good, will be back.
Portions were small but good. Not worth the price.
The food was delicious but Heather, our service was OUTSTANDING! Personable, attentive and informative. Kudos to Seasons 52 for having such a fabulous employee!
Service was great! My friends and I were traveling for work, and it was a great dinner that we all enjoyed. The bistro steak was seasoned perfectly.
Always great food across the menu. The trout was excellent, moist and served with perfectly charred veggie backing. Service was perfectly attentive, but not hovering. Lunch was busy, so noise was up a little, but table spacing allowed us to have a good business conversation.
The only complaint is parking. The part of the lot closest to the front door is small with a significant portion blocked off for some other purpose. Otherwise, great spot in OakBrook for a business lunch.
Great ambiance and service! I think our waiter was Chuck
A friend from out of town had never been here. We were all very pleased with everything. The food was incredible. The service was top shelf.
Stuff was great, are server was very nice and happy, we are not happy with the food it take longer than supposed to be, sandwiches and flat bread not supposed to take 40 min
Overall excellent meal. Our server was the best and kept on top of our needs...
Great services from our waitress Yahira.
Good service and ok value. Portions small, but with fresh ingredients. Good wine menu. Starter salad pretty large. Fish portions decent. Definitely get a side dish or add-on if you're hungry.
The trout was amazing as well as the scallops. We had the beet salad as an appetizer as well as the new roasted cauliflower. You can skip the cauliflower.
The evening was made more enjoyable by the service we had. Our waiter was excellent. Very informative about the different dishes and right on with his recommendations. Best service we have had in any restaurant in a very long time.
Love this place but yesterday not as much. Booked thru Open Table noted this was an anniversary event as we have been going here for a number of years and in the past, the receptionist usually acknowledged the anniversary and always seated us in the restaurant area, not yesterday no acknowledgment of the special event and was seated in the Bar area next to the waitress station, waiter was pleasant but not engaging or complimentary just average. We still love the food here and will be back this was just (hopefully) a one-time average experience.
Everything was wonderful as usual!
Awesome food and service!
Your choices for evaluation of the noise level seem to circumvent the real conditions in the main dining room...is energetic your euphemism for " prohibitive to conversation...headache level noise". I am sure that you are aware that at peak times when the main dining is full that the noise is enough to make customers think about leaving. The noise level was so loud that we could not hear each other across the table. When we looked around, we counted 4 tables where people had given up trying to talk and were passively sitting across from each other without any attempt to converse . I would challenge you to bring in a decibel meter. I have some familiarity with their use as a school employee trying to measure ambient noise that might disturb classroom instruction. I am guessing that you would be very surprised by the noise level in the main dining area. I am guessing that it may equal that at a busy intersection or in the rush hour crowd indoors at a train station.,perhaps approaching 90-100 decibels.
For this reason, and this reason alone, we won't be returning. Might you be motivated to consult with a firm that could suggest some acoustical alterations to the room ?
PS Our waiter (who was excellent) told us in all sincerity that some nights he leaves work with ringing in his ears and a mild headache.
Delicious as always and they really made us feel special for our anniversary!!
Always good food!!!
