Sea Fire Grill
2 visit...stuffed lobster is amazing. Loved the striped bass....great upscale restaurant
The wait staff was great, but the food was mediocre and pricy. There was also an unpleasant fishy smell in the restaurant.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.
Excellent service. The fish is fresh and wonderful. Very good wine list. We will return for dinner next time we are in NYC.
Faultless food. Service was in the ‘tried hard’ category, but staff lacked some basic knowledge of wine and etiquette of clearing plates and filling glasses with water. Only real complaint would be how dark it was - every customer I saw had to resort to phone torches to read their menus......
Love every minute here from the lively bar scene to the fabulous dining room. But that is just the beginning. The food is spectacular and the service impeccable. Highly recommend the Salmon, crabmeat cocktail, lobster bisque, and every other of your favorites they have. Will be back again and again!
Food was simply outstanding!
Excellent menu with variety of fish dishes. Specials were well thought out with originality and high end ingredients. Service was impeccable. Our server, Ori was knowledgable, well prepared and knew his job well. We would strongly recommend him and would want to have him serve us again. Martinis were perfectly prepared. Fish dishes were superb. Ahi Tuna dish best I've had anywhere. The halibut was also a hit as well!!! Would look forward to returning again.
Very good food; outstanding service.
Waiter wasn’t as attentive as I expect someone to be him when I’m spending 400 on a night out with your significant other mind you this is just on food alone we were often just waiting on him to acknowledge us. Another employee was very I attempted to ask a question and instead of him listening to answer he was like your waiter will be right over he actually interrupted me and didn’t let me ask anything. The worst part for me was it was our anniversary dinner and they brought out a cake that said happy birthday on it, throughly killed the vibe. Not to mention my meal was absurdly deceiving for a surf and turf it was a total joke
Seafood dishes (e.g. swordfish, cod, oysters) were truly excellent. Not sure how they do it but the chefs make it seem worthwhile to pay a premium price.
Waitstaff very professional.
Noise level can be percussively loud ... manager was kind enough to move us to a quieter region in upper section after we noted the impossibility of conversation at our table for 4 in the back.
It was a wonderful experience. The food was to die for. The service was Impeccable.
Every time I am in NYC I always have one dinner at Sea Fire Grill. My favorite dish is Crab Cakes
Excellent dining! Everything was delicious!
Went with my daughters for a girls trip. There was a lot of staring by the staff which made us a little uncomfortable. My daughters are beautiful but it was excessive. Also there was just so much service that it
The food was good however the waiter failed to ask if we had any dietary concerns and brought dessert with ice cream on it (didn’t tell us it came with ice cream). My husband is lactose intolerant.
Very noisy restaurant.
Have visited several times. Never disappointed!
I have been a regular at this restaurant for some years now. I was extremely disappointed at the quality of the food this time around and when I told the waiter there was not much care. I guess they see a lot of volume from tourists that stay at the hotel that they don't need my business.
We had ordered the octopus as an appetizer and it was sooo salty and hard as a rock. The potato's that came with the dish were also hard. I ordered the surf and turf for dinner it was mediocre at best and ridiculously expensive. There are plenty of restaurants in NYC that I can spend my money
We had an amazing meal and will definitely be back. Thanks to all for accmmodating our party of 10.
Great place for lunch. We ate at the bar and had excellent service, wonderful food and an overall enjoyable experience.
The food was really good, but the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I reserve those for really outstanding food. I would definitely return and definitely have no reservations about recommending this place.
Very nice place. Nice atmosphere. The only issue I had was there were to large parties going on and both groups were very loud. The food was excellent. Would definitely go back again.
Great restaurant- buzzing atmosphere - fantastic food - could not have asked for more!
Our waiter Benson was excellent. Food was excellent.
Benson, our server was awesome! He was very attentive and was a pleasure to have as our waiter. The manager, Nick and the general manager Alex, both gentlemen were very friendly and came by our table to make sure everything was as we ordered. The food was very well presented & the flavor of the steak and red snapper was excellent! Thank you for a great evening!
Never disappointed!! Great service like always.
Diar, the server, was fantastic! Food was really good!
Over all a wonderful experience.
The restaurant is beautiful with modern and elegant features. The staff was polite and timely. The waiter was a total professional: courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing. We had the porterhouse for 2 as well as the Alaskan king crab legs. Both phenomenal. The lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. I only left upset because we couldn’t take the leftovers home since we had other plans after the restaurant. 5 star food, service and ambiance. Will definitely go back.
Fine dining with great food and excellent service. The ambience was exceptional. NYC prices but to be expected at this Manhattan location. Will definitely go again next time we visit NYC.
We will be back.
First class, meal. Awesome service. Friendliest staff in NYC.
Everything (except crab claws) was only perfect. I would have the Oysters Rockefeller every day!
The place is very noisy. Service was very much steakhouse macho. It was intrusive in that the waiter would easily interrupt conversations, reach across persons plates and forearm in face to clear items, and dinner items were not correctly delivered so we had to exchange them around the table. Bread items were replenished without being asked which was nice and rare. All of us had fish. Some were good, some average and one not so good. Portions are generous. The special grouper was overcooked and the accompanying risotto gloppy. The halibut was also rather dry, but the veg accompaniments were nice. The lobster salad was dull - the lobster was too cold and the meat had no flavor. Also for the price, a half of a chick and one claw was rather stingy. The grapefruit dressing was interesting and good. The tuna was good. The wine selection was extensive.
Our waiter, Ori, was fantastic. The food was delicious and it was a wonderful dinner out.
Appetizer was frozen. When we told our waiter he inquired, "frozen??", then moments later he returned from the kitchen and said, "yes. it was frozen. We will bring out fresh plate." The replacement was 100% better but it was off-putting for the waiter to question our truthful assessment of the frozen food served. Overall it was a nice experience minus that offensive comment of confirming that the food was frozen; rather than to just come back and apologize for serving us an expensive ice cubes
I took my best friend for a her birthday and it was a delight. The noise level was high because we were in the main sitting area and after 8pm. We were very pleased with the service, and the attentiveness was on point. Our waiter Benson was a delight to have. They gave my best friend a creme brumleè and Frank sang happy birthday. I'm glad I chose this restaurant.
My wife and daughters meal was very good I had the bronzino and was disappointed. I recently had Bronzino at Il gatto prado near MOMA and it was much better. For $45 the dish was not worth it at all I would not order that there every again
consistently delicious food; pleasant attentive service; have had fish and meat and very much enjoyed both.
Came here for our 20th Anniversary and was not disappointed. Food and service were very good and the only issue we had was my wife's clams were a little overdone but the waiter offered to re-do the whole dish. My wife declined as she loved the flavor of the pasta and didn't mind the clams. My tuna was excellent and cooked just as I ordered it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
