Food was good. Service was great. This was the first time we went there and will be going back.
Our waitress, Lindsey, was very helpful, courteous, and personable. Our first experience at the Restaurant was pleasurable and enjoyable.
Our favorite restaurant! We always have the best meal here. On Valentine’s Day, the drinks were on point and wait staff was so kind. They work so hard at this restaurant. We had a fantastic evening.
The service was great and the margs were delicious!
Queso Blanco is terrific as is the salsa and crab quesadilla. Highly recommend!
Love this place. Food is outstanding and service is great. On a great Main Street with a fun environment.
Very hot and no atmosphere in back room
One of our favorite spots. I do miss your hard shell tacos. Any way to bring back the hard shells?
Great service, food, and value! My guest and I truly enjoyed our evening here after about 5 years since our last visit. Also, the establishment was properly distancing and was very clean. We would highly recommend this to any visiting families, current students, or travelers through the area.
Everything was cooked perfectly as usual. My favorite restaurant in Newark!
We visit Santa Fe every week. Wings and fajitas are the best around. All the food and drinks are always delicious.
Delish food , good service, reasonable prices
I love Santa Fe! Just wish they had told us our reservation was limited to 2 hours beforehand... A manager abruptly told us that our reservation was “up” and we had been making the table after us wait. We had no idea that the tables had a time limit nor we we informed by email, at the hostess stand or by our waiter. I understand having this limit but it needs to be communicated ahead of time. We were trying to drink our margaritas fast and felt very uncomfortable with the way she approached the situation (as if we had been in the wrong when we had no idea). Other than that, food and servers are usually pretty good.
I love the food. Always have good service. Wait staff is friendly and work hard to make it a great experience. One of Main Street’s gems.
Server was very efficient, and conscientious
Food was great, atmosphere was very nice
The food was delicious and the service was great.
Great good, atmosphere, and service! Definitely recommend.
Sangria tasted like watered down red wine. Enchiladas contained very little cheese And with exception of the red sauce were tasteless. Rice was dried out. Guacamole was good. If you dine here only get the guacamole.
Server was fantastic!
Very good food and great customer service. Social distancing is being done along with sanitizer and masks. Felt very comfortable.
After requesting a booth in the rear is the restaurant we were seated promptly and safely. As always our dinners were delicious.
Food was good. Very expensive for fajitas that were mostly vegetables, 22 dollars. This place is right in the heart of U of D so expect very loud atmosphere. Will never go back due to the loud, vulgar and drunk college kids. It’s a shame they ruined dinner for a lot people.
It was hard to hear people at your table. Order was not completely correct and we paid for extra item.
My main problem is that we were nit checked in and did nit get credit on our Open Table account
The food was delicious I would def recommend the fish tacos. The drinks were strong and worth the money. I also live how easy it was to make a reservation online for outside . Would def recommend and will be going back
They have the best margaritas in the area, and there isn't a close second. The food is also very good and consistent.
I am always pleased at Santa Fe. From their food to their service!!!
I forgot the Name of our server but he was excellent!!! Thank you.
We had a delicious meal and great service. However, we had a party of 6 next to us in a booth, that was more than energetic, they were loud, and used a lot of profanity.
Enjoyed catching up with a friend while munching on nachos and then salads. They seemed to a have steady flow of patrons. We were at a booth near the kitchen door. My only issue was that we left smelling strongly of the food that was cooked while we were there.
Great. Really liked the restaurant
We went to Santa Fe Saturday evening after a movie. For an easy-in, easy-out restaurant, it's very good. Ambience was very good with tables and the bar all filled. My beef chimichanga was just what I wanted and my wife enjoyed her chicken quesadillas.
The food quality seems to be diminishing (as do the portion sizes). The chipotle wings were very good (although served with no plates on which to eat them). The alambre was ok, as were the mole chicken enchiladas. The blackened chicken burrito appeared to be filled with ingredients that were just pulverized to mush. Nothing (rice, chicken, beans, etc.) was discernible inside of it. The burrito came with no sides and was just bland and very dry. The other dishes were served with a side of Mexican rice that was dried up and lacking in any flavor. The menu appears to have gotten smaller at this restaurant, but the quality of the food has not gone up with what should be a more focused service.
The food just wasn’t good and the service pleasant but not great. It reminded me of food you would get in the frozen aisle at the supermarket. Even the Mexican food chains are better. Pass on this place!
Love this place!
Kristen was very attentive. Our server Zach was excellent! He made sure that the birthday occasion was very special.
Santa Fe has been a favorite restaurant of ours since it first opened. Food is consistently good and the frozen margaritas are excellent. Prices are very good, portions are good and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Thank you.
Waitress was great. Was there at a non-busy time so it's difficult to judge what the noise level would be on a Friday or Saturday night. Food was yummy. Brunch menu was fantastic!
Wait staff was attentive but kitchen and bar were very slow. Food and drinks were good one received.
Didn’t get the full menu basically made reservations for bar snack food
have been going to Santa Fe for years and still enjoy their food. Our waiter was excellent and so are the frozen margaritas. We will be back soon!
