Sangria could be a decent restaurant, but the food is not up to par. Everything we ordered could have been prepared better by me. Two of us got fajitas. They simply were not good. The beef in the fajitas was not a good cut of meat, not cut properly, and not well seasoned.
They had live music, which should have been great. I was so excited as they were setting up, only to be disappointed by how loud the music was. Live music in a small place needs only minimal amplification. They were blasting the music way too loud for the space.
I brought my friend here to celebrate her belated birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food and bottomless drinks were delicious. The servers were pleasant and knew what to recommend from the menu. I will definitely be coming back.
Love this place. Beautiful and the service was great. Food was delicious
Food is always good and they have drink specials every night. The night we were there they had entertainment.
Everything was perfect! From the food to the drinks, it was all delicious! Definitely enjoyed the brunch menu and truly felt full and satisfied afterwards. My family was able to sit at a table in a nook over by the window which made it feel like we had the restaurant to ourselves. Excited to go back and even try dinner!
Valentines menu was great!!
Excellent as usual!
I had brunch here Sunday with a friend. We order wings, they were good. They weren't as hot as I am used to but they were good. Large portion as well. My friend had the poached eggs it looked very good and she enjoyed it. I ordered the 3 cheese flatbread pizza, it was very plain I didn't enjoy it. We had the red sangria it was good not to sweet. Service was good I would go back
The wait for the pork chop entree was almost an hour. But once I had my first bite, I was on cloud 9!! Worth the wait for sure :))
Great neighborhood find! Everything we had here was excellent. Delicious appetizers, great paella, fajitas were tasty, shrimp with garlic sauce perfectly prepared. The flan and tres leches cake were some of the best I've tasted. Happy hour margaritas were spot-on - tasty and not watered down. Relaxed, friendly wait staff. Definitely coming back
Quite place with great food
We made a reservation and still had to wait 45 mins for a table. The food and drinks were great though. Still trying to decide if the sub par service was worth it.
Very delicious food, the ambience is nice and the only drawback was the loudness tonight on a Saturday night with a flamenco show due to having to yell to talk. But overall the grilled octopus, ox tail, and paella was excellent. Would definitely go back again! Great date night spot.
Went for brunch with 3 friends. Service was excellent, food was delicious, noise level was fairly low so we could talk easily, and they didn’t try to rush us out after we were finished eating. Will definitely be back!
The guitar player/ live music was nice it was just too loud for the space. It was difficult to have a normal conversation. If it had been at a more background level loud, it would have been perfect. I came to have dinner with a friend and catch-up, not listen to guitar music and nod at each other.
I came with my family and this time around was a little different. The service was quite slow and we waited some time before the food came out. We didn’t even get chips and salsa or something to snack on, which made it more noticeable that our food took so long! The restaurant wasn’t even packed - maybe 4 other groups were there at the time. Besides that, the food was great.
Went for Colombian live salsa night on Saturday oct 26. Was disappointed...though there was live music, it was not any kind of salsa and not Colombian either. I was excited to go, but ultimately was disappointed...I felt
like it was false advertising to say live salsa but there was none of that.
Brunch is very good!!
Great food & sangia. Service was quick and friendly
The best place to eat!
Cute Neighborhood gem. All the doors open to give it an indoor/outdoor experience. it has a cute little bar. Nice decor. Pretty spacious and not crowded on a Sunday late afternoon/early evening.
There's a free wine or sangria with Yelp Checkin which is a plus. We started with a shredded pork over tostones which was a huge portion and delicious.
He got the Shrimp mofongo which was really good. I ordered the pork chop which I regret. it was thick and borderline dry. it needs a sauce and to be juicier. The rice and beans needed more flavor.
A little pricey for a Spanish restaurant but they make up for it with the portions.
Next time I'll try something else.
Love the Sangria and the food was delicious!
Beautiful ambiance definitely a neighborhood gem!
I had used a gift card . the crab cake was very tasty.
Having had paella in Spain and at El Quixote in Manhattan when they were open which was very enjoyable . Here at Sangria it took 45 minutes to prepare and was Dark RED! In the past it was nice and fluffy yellow rice . Portion was small for 2.
Never have I had Red paella and it did not taste very good. What a disappointment ! Took forever for the check to come . This was not a good dining experience .Also ,my first not favorable review ever!
We went there for brunch last Saturday and the food was amazing!! Now we have a great place in the neighborhood for brunch on Saturday and Sunday it’s a must try.
Food and service was great , drinks were awesome
Me and my wife Went back for dinner, this time with my mother in law and her boyfriend and service once again was spot on. As was the food and drinks. Complimentary shots from the owner Dominick - who is absolutely phenomenal and a pleasure to chat with. Booking future dinners and get togethers here at Sangria. You will have a great time ALWAYS! Thank you again everyone.
Great food and Great Environment
