We celebrated our 20th anniversary here. The hostess greeted us with a “Happy Anniversary” and led us to a table already set for us. The server also acknowledged our special occasion - all night long actually - which was very nice. We enjoyed the 1/2 price bottle of wine and 1/2 price charcuterie board. Both were excellent choices!!! We had the gnocchi and mushroom pasta dishes - both excellent!!!! They then served us a peanut butter ice cream and chocolate cake dessert for our anniversary, compliments of the house. There was a musician playing great tunes who was excellent as well. They had our patio table ready when we arrived. We have dogs and they are very dog friendly. Food was great. We oredered salmon with coconut rice and pasta Bolognese. Both were delicious. The space is unique to San Diego, feeling almost New York City like. Chandeliers, Club leather furniture, marble table tops, cocktails that, though, called tiki, are not really the tiki you would imagine.
The cocktails are met with a menu mostly unfamiliar to San Diego. Baja California is where Baja meets San Diego. In a time and place where we need to spotlight it most. Relying on ancient and modern techniques and cross-border ingredients with a nuevo approach to menu delivery, the culinary story will highlight oysters, seafare from baja and produce highlighting the southern california region, including foraged ingredients.

An imposing 29-seat bar is angled towards the USS Midway, which is framed by the dining room’s panoramic windows. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors let the sea breezes in, leading from the main dining area to a west-facing terrace offering tabletop seating, fireside lounges, and an elevated view of the bay.
