Limited buffet, but it was good.
Service was great, food was just okay and the drinks were very weak. Overall time with our friends was the best part. Unfortunately, we won’t be making this place a regular for us.
Excellent food, excellent services and very stylish interior
Service is not as good as previous visits. Waitress might be new and not as attentive. Felt like a low end restaurant this time.
Highly recommend. Food and service was excellent!
Great anniversary dinner
Very nice restaurant with top notch service. The food was excellent (lobster bisque and Ribeye). I recommend it!
We had a delightful dinner with great service. The steaks were amazing, the lamb shank even more delicious. The mushrooms are "can't miss". While not inexpensive, this place is just as good as some of the highest priced steak houses around with nicer ambience. We will be back when in the area.
It was cooked the way we asked - medium but it was very chewy.
I chose this restaurant as it was connected to the hotel I stayed at with my significant other for our 1 year anniversary, I am so glad we dined here. The staff was super friendly! Our hostess right away knew why we were there and what we requested (as I specified through the OpenTable app), without even looking at her screen, it really added a personal touch! After seating us, we were served by such a friendly waitress, Melissa. She was very helpful, gave great recommendations on the food and drinks and everything came out amazingly! The food was delicious, served just the way we wanted. They also gave us a complimentary piece of cake congratulating us on our 1st anniversary, it was great. Lastly, the staff signed and gave us a greeting card congratulating us as well, which made my significant other and I really feel special. This staff truly gave us one of the best dining experiences we have ever had and made it a memorable anniversary dinner for us, we certainly plan on coming back. Thank you to the staff, the chefs and cooks for such an amazing time that we will never forget!
Wait staff was friendly and professional. Service was efficient. We had a lovely time and never felt rushed.
Beautiful dining room
Excellent food and service
Very pleased with my choice at the Renaissance Schaumburg. i rate it as one of the best hotel restaurants i have dined at and I am a very frequent traveler. Enjoyed their Onion Soup to open with and an awesome Whole Branzino ,crispy outside and soft and moist inside. Too full to enjoy a dessert, but a Johnny Walker Black helped enhance the dining experience . Forget the mall chains and an Uber ride and dine here.
A wonderful meal great quality at affordable price. A wonderful end to a perfect weekend!
It was okay. “Shared” side dishes were really small, steak was cold.
Very nice meal. Asparagus was great as was the rib eye. Not overly expensive. They gave us a card signed by the staff for our anniversary and free dessert. Will definitely return.
excellent dining experience!
Have eaten here twice in the past few months. Really good steaks, good service, nice atmosphere. Will return.
Great place to have a business lunch. Quiet, good food (salmon is amazing) and the service is always 5 star. Great staff. Thanks
Good food. Not great service. Restaurant was empty. 20-30 open tables. Server rushed us so she could close her tickets. Busboy took our drinks away without offering a refill or asking.
Crab cakes too aalty
Nice out of the way place. Every time we bring someone there, they ask how in the world did you find this place. A great place to have dinner or lunch...........highly recommend !
First, they were very accommodating; I had to change the reservation three times (through Open Table) and there were no problems or glitches. Same & Harry's is comfortable, the staff are gracious, well-trained and thoughtful. All of our meals were perfectly prepared and served to our specifications. Great start to a great evening! I look forward to my next visit.
I have my reservation at 9:45 they make us wait 20 minutes I’m thinking why making reservations when other people came after me and get in before me. Also our hash browns was dry and burned, I ask for orange juice never make it to my table.
Menu was not the same as on Open Table. Server told me the menu was changed. Very limited menu and not enough selections. Will not return.
Three of us for dinner. All 3 of us had rib eyes. I asked for mine med-rare. It was more med-well. Taste was great. A little too fatty for my liking . Cocktail prices seemed a little high for the pour you received. But aren't they all. Creamed asparagus was outstanding. Service was amazing...attentive but not pushy and did not rush you.
Celebrated son’s graduation. Lovely decor. Nice staff, good and somewhat unique menu
Large restaurant enjoyed the contemporary design.
Restaurant was not very full the night we dined, service was very attentive. Our table had
sea food & steaks, all were done to our liking. Nice wine list by the glass or bottle at reasonable prices.
We had made reservations for the Mother’s Day brunch for 1245. We ended up waiting 40 minutes before we were seated. Our server Stephen was delightful! He was friendly and fun. He was by far the best part of our experience! The food was just so-so, the shrimp and fish dish were over cooked, but the crab and asparagus hash was delicious. My husband enjoyed the omelette station although he did comment that his omelette was overcooked. The noise level was extremely high which made it very difficult to carry on conversation around our table of six. I do understand that this was a Mother’s Day brunch and I knew it would be busy, but even taking that into account I was a bit disappointed. We might try the restaurant for a regular lunch or dinner sometime but not for brunch buffet.
We went there for the Mother's Day Brunch. We have been here for brunch before. But it was really well done. Food, ambiance, service. We liked that they had a musician there as well. Food had great variety as well. I spoke with my wife and I think we will likely make this an annual tradition to come here to be honest. Well done!
Overall, it was a very pleasant Mothers Day brunch. The quality of the food was outstanding, but in some cases, lukewarm in temperature. The server was pretty much on top of things- except for refilling the coffee. The ambiance added something to the overall positive experience.
The ambience was wonderful and the service was outstanding.
It was such a good restaurant in the past that the disappointment was magnified. I had halibut that was dry and the confit carrots were certainly not confit. The waitress never even asked if we want a second drink.
Best service ever. Food was great and restaurant is beautiful!!
We came for Easter brunch and it was delicious. The French toast was amazing and the bacon. Mimosas were good. Clean atmosphere very beautiful inside.
Easter brunch was excellent. Our server was wonderful and very attentive, friendly, and gave great service. The food was excellent as well.
This has to be one of the finest restaurants in a hotel that I have eaten at. When you call and ask around about a good steak place and people tell you " it's right there in your hotel " , that says something special about the hotel itself ( which , by the way is amazing ). Everything was perfect, from the french soup, salads, aged steaks ( and the Halibut ) down to the limited but fantastic desserts. Exceptional wine list also. Servers and staff were very friendly attentive also.
Best rib-eye steak I have ever had!
