Good experience as always ! Food and waitstaff are friendly and helpful.
I love Salumeri even more in the summer as you can sit outside and it's not as cramped and noisy. The food and wine were fabulous and the price is reasonable as long as they don't raise their prices. It's perfect!
The perfect spot for small plates and wine before heading to the Beacon Theater. Rigatoni to die for, wine poured table side and tapas style small plates --one better than the next.
Great meal lovely atmosphere. Came into town to take our graduate out for some good meals and this was on our list. We were treated like regulars and the food did not disappoint. Got the week of the day pasta and it was authentic cacio e pepe and my wife got the chicken scaloppini. We started with the meat and cheese board that we customized to our favorites. We had our classic valpolicella rapasso. Honestly a meal we won’t forget. Thank you
Great food, great service. Tight and noisy , Part of the ambiance .
Delicious food. Lovely ambiance.
One of our favorite places to dine when we travel to New York City!
The food is fantastic! The service is friendly and professional!

Loved the food, the place , everything’s about it! Just delicious 😋
This place is terrible. I ordered the sandwich and I couldn’t stop laughing at how bad it was.
Food is wonderful! I was frustrated because I had a reservation which was confirmed a few hours in advance. She asked if I’d like to sit at the bar and I agreed since I generally enjoy bar seating. When we arrived, I discovered that their bar is so high so that it was awkward. When I told the host that we needed to be seated elsewhere, he said he had no open tables and put us outside. Being that I had a confirmed reservation, I felt it was very poor customer service. I chose not to make a fuss because I wanted a peaceful evening, but it rankles.
Ate outside so noise level and ambiance are hard to quantify. A walk inside told us it is a noisy place. Food selection is good - meat samplers, cheese samplers, salads, etc. Lots of food so be thoughtful about how many plates you order. Food is meant to be shared. Waitress was friendly and provided great advice regarding what to order, this being our first visit. Nice experience, good food, lots of people watching. A great New York City dining experience.
We saw this restaurant last year while walking by and took a business card. It reminded us of Italy where we spent 1 month. We took our friend there on June 2 nd and had a wonderful dinner with an appetizer of meats and cheeses and then their house favorite lasagna. Did not disappoint us.Will be back again on next visit to NY.
Delicious food, fun atmosphere.
Excellent food and fancier than I expected given the deli counter of cured meats. Great Italian food!
Despite the reservation, I was seated at the window bar in a cramped space. Another couple walked in right before me without a reservation and was seated at a normal table and then nothing else was available me when I stated me name.
Very tasty pasta. As good as Marea or Lincoln Restaurante. Can order small portions so you don’t stuff yourself.
Went here for dinner with my sister before a show at the Beacon. We only ordered the meat and cheese board (separate items) and a salad to share. The food was very good. The pasta dishes that other customers had ordered looks delicious - will definitely have to go back. Service was a little bit slow. It was very busy for a Tuesday night.
Very packed restaurant.. we had to wait even though we had made a reservation but it was only about 10 minutes. Great food and cocktails. Super fresh and quality foods. I would highly recommend this place and will be going back.
Great service, great food choices and as usual really delicious
I loved the setting, the food is phenomenal and the cocktails are amazing. I did felt like we were rushed, we got our entrees 5 minutes after we got appetizers and we yad not finished eating. The tables are too small to hold a variety of plates.
This restaurant definitely pays attention to every detail, from service, to the food, and to the ambiance! The staff is very personable! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with an open kitchen. There are great tables both inside and outside! The food tastes amazing and very authentic. We had several dishes, lasagna, the meatballs, gnocchi and the Brussel sprouts as a side dish. Our waiter brought us a variety of breads as well, accompanied with a nice olive oil. Nice wine selection! Overall fantastic place! Can’t wait to go back!
Food is outstanding, great scene. Perfect for a date, friends, daytime and night.
Our experience overall was fair-to-good. We ordered a couple of salads as starters; both were good, but one (the panzanella salad) was supposed to have beans in it and it did not. I ordered lasagna as my entree. It was good, but it came out of the kitchen lukewarm. Someone else in my party ordered pappardelle pasta that was supposed to have black pepper, but there was no black pepper taste (subtle or otherwise). Our server was fine, but not attentive enough to keep our water glasses refilled unless we asked. All in all, our experience did not leave us clamoring to return.
The food was amazing, the burrata was by far my favorite. Place is just a bit cramped so wouldn’t go with a large party.
Intimate best describes this tiny gem on upper West Side. Perfect pre-show choice! Outdoor seating popular even on a cool and damp evening. Conveniently located near the Beacon Theater for Seinfield show and near metro stop. Neighbor vibe, couples celebrating TGIF.
Conscientious service; appropriately sized servings; delicious and pleasing food.
Had a great brunch. Our server Nicole was fantastic. We will definitely return.
You DO need a reservation for Salumeria! It is our "go to favorite" for nearby (landmark gorgeous) Beacon Theater shows. Small plates or entree sizes, salads, cheeses, soups, great wines, beers and desserts. Everything you hope for in a great dining experience. They anticipate everything, pace your choices perfectly, you don't need to do anything but order, relax and enjoy yourselves. ❤️🍽️🥂
Headed to the Beacon Theater for a show and read the reviews on Salumeria Rosi, looked good to bring my family. 4 of us seated comfortably and had very good appetizers to start. The bruschetta is excellent, as is the mozzarella and prosciutto. Ordered the Carbanera , which was fantastic.
Steady, reliable service throughout. A tad on the pricey side, but hard to say it wasn't worth every penny.
The restaurant is so noisy that it can be painful to have a conversation. This really needs to be addressed.
Ondanks extreme drukte is personeel heel attent en vriendelijk. Absoluut een aanrader.
I chose Salumeria Rosi for its proximity to Recolte Desert Bar, and was thrilled. Everything from the decor to food was excellent, including our awesome server who had us in and out in time for our next reservation. My brother in law said the night’s special (lamb pasta) was the best lamb he’s ever had.
We enjoyed the restaurant. Good location. Intimate. Good food.
We go frequently to this restaurant and love it. The food is outstanding and the service is very good and friendly. It's a very happy place!
Great, friendly, prompt service. Food was delicious and great for sharing small dishes.
Food is usually excellent, this time a bit salty, they might need more pasta variations but I love their daily specials, though the service is not the best, specially the blond host she is awful.
Salumeria Rosi is the neighborhood gem of all gems! Great food, incredible service and everyone is treated like a queen/king. Really worth a visit. And get the specials (all of them!)
While we were told that dishes are brought to the table “when they were ready “, it seems odd(and unsatisfying) that a cooked to order salmon dish arrived 15 minutes before my lasagna dish, which simply had to be served. There were two of us at the table, and these dishes were our main courses. We liked the food, and decided that we would come back, by not with friends.
Love the gnocchi and the small plates here. The place has a great casual UWS vibe!
