Formally an old school Irish pub filled with mahogany charm, dbar has been renovated into a hip chic hot spot. With warm glowing candles & long leather banquettes, dbar offers a casual and comfortable atmosphere that attracts clientele from Dorchester and surrounding areas. The unique and classy menu inspired by Executive Chef Christopher Coombs changes with the seasons and features the finest and freshest available ingredients throughout the New England area. Most of the menu takes a French twist, but also contains an assortment of comfort foods (such as our famous Veal & Pancetta Bolognaise) and old favorites (like our simple yet delicious Giannone Chicken Under a Brick.)

We went to The Landing for brunch on Easter. Sat outside overlooking the harbor on a beautiful day. The food was excellent. I had corn beef hash. Others had Eggs Benedict and lobster roll. All were excellent. I could not have been happier with the experience.

First outdoor dining of the year, it was beautiful. The food, particularly the sushi, was delicious and Sara, our server was attentive but not intrusive. It was an excellent family lunch.

We have fresh local clams, fresh local lobster, hake, halibut, and a stunning lobster grilled cheese sandwich with sage butter. We're about friends, family, fun and we even have music some Wednesdays. Local bartenders are always coming up with new drinks like our signature "Purple Rain." We host the Blue Fin Blowout each year in July.

Great experience and fun on Easter Sunday. The waitstaff were troopers - it was sunny but windy- yet everything was delivered perfectly. Great food and ambiance-,would definitely recommend!
