Located in Surrey Center on Highland Ave. We have been in business for 50 years, Calvert's Restaurant is noted for its elegant, romantic and intimate setting. With an award-winning wine list and recognition as one of the most elegant spots in the greater Augusta area. It is an ideal place for a couple's or family and friend's night out. Happy hour from 5-7 pm. Surf and Turf specials nightly.

Chef Vann creates a menu at Calvert's Restaurant that features an array of appetizers and soups that emphasize fresh seafood, but also delicious choices like the Seafood Bisque, French Onion, Oysters Rockefeller & Bacon Wrapped Shrimp.

Entrees include Surf and Turf, Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Lobster, Sea Bass, Salmon, Chicken and Dry Aged Pork among others, and all entrees are accompanied by the classic green jacket salad and focaccia bread that is a Calvert's Restaurant tradition. Finish off the night with homemade deserts such as the Chocolate Roulade Derby Pie or Blueberry Cheesecake.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Calvert’s in celebration of an anniversary. Eli, our server, had warmly welcomed us upon our arrival to the restaurant and cheerfully described the specials and various menu selections offered. Everything sounded wonderful: I chose the Chilean Sea Bass; my husband decided on the filet mignon. Both were delectable, as well as the green jacket salad with focaccia bread and the chocolate roulade cake that completed the 5/5 star meal. Eli was genuinely hospitable and made us feel relaxed and truly comfortable, making sure each need from refills to a take home box was efficiently met. She made our special day an even more memorable experience. Definitely looking forward to returning soon!

Michael (Mike) was so attentive and made excellent recommendations for drinks and for for dinner. We had the Winter (Bourbon) drink and grouper, as well as oysters. Everything was perfect!

Frog Hollow continues to be our favorite spot for date nights and special occasions. The service and attention to detail is immaculate. Over several years of dining here I have never had a bad dish or bite. From appetizers to entrees to desserts, they hit it out of the park with class. I couldn't recommend it more to anyone.

The service was outstanding! The food was amazing and creative with abundant flavors! They were so kind to me it was my birthday celebration and they complimented me with this amazing Chocolate Ganache Cake. We took it home to enjoy later since we were rather full. I definitely recommend!!
