Located in the heart of Kapa‘a town, ‘Āina Kaua‘i offers creative and delicious Japanese cuisine that highlights the flavors and bounty of Kaua’i. The menu features ingredients harvested at peak freshness from local farms for use in refined Japanese cooking techniques that transform a meal into a transcendent dining journey. The open kitchen allows guests to observe the preparation of courses, while the choice “Chef’s Counter” features four exclusive seats where guests can interact with the chefs throughout their meal. Guests can select libations from a drink menu which includes premium sake, Japanese beer, wine, and cocktails made from scratch with local fruits, spirits from Hanalei Spirits, and Japanese whisky. Located on 2nd Floor in Velocity Honolulu Building. Use "Velocity Honolulu" or enter in "888 Kapiolani Blvd" as destination location for Uber or Lyft. DO NOT enter MW Restaurant in Uber or Lyft, because we have been having issues with guests being dropped at our old location. Entrance to the restaurant and valet parking is from Kapiolani Blvd making a right turn up the ramp. Parking on the ground level in the MW Valet only stall is prohibited and subject to be towed away at the owner expense.

Casual dining with a Hawaii Regional Cuisine flair accompanied by exquisite desserts. We are now located in the Velocity Honolulu building, across the street from the Blaisdell Center.

Me and my husband went here while we were in Oahu. The food is delicious, everything we ate was SO good. The drinks even better. The staff is very friendly. It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Great upscale family style dining. Highly recommend the gochujang Korean style fried chicken and the short ribs. Vibrant cocktail menu and hospitable service.

Very friendly and helpful staff from host & hostess to servers and other wait staff! Excellent food - creative and so tasty! They acknowledged my guest’s birthday and gave her a nice dessert! Restrooms were also clean and nice! A little pricey but worth it for the great experience! Looking forward to returning!

We offer a seasonal tasting menu that utilizes ingredients that tell the story of our island and the history behind it.
(Reservations for Tasting Menu Only at 530pm, 6pm, 8pm, & 830pm. Bar Area will accept walk-ins & by phone only.)

**Our Regular tasting menu is 6 courses for $120, and Plant-Based tasting menu is 6 courses for $100.
We accommodate Pescatarian, No-Red Meat, Vegetarian, and Vegan diets.

Nae Ogawa
Her career starts at the prestigious Michelin-starred NARISAWA in Tokyo.
She then moved to New York at 21 years old to work at famed Michelin-starred Bouley.
Shortly after she was flying to Paris to work at the popular bistro, La Bourse et La Vie.
In 2021, her ideas came to fruition with natuRe waikiki, an upscale restaurant featuring Sustainable Island French cuisine.

I have a renewed appreciation of abalone from my most tasting menu experience with natuRe. I cannot wait for my next trip to Honolulu for the visit to natuRe

At Fukurou, you will enjoy an Omakase-style experience featuring a masterful blend of local Hawaiian cuisine, Japanese Kaiseki, and a delicate touch of Mexican flare. Located inside of Buho Cocina y Cantina, we are tucked away incorporating a speak-easy aspect to our omakase. Our hours are Tuesday thru Friday with two seatings available each night. First seating at 5:30pm and the second at 7:45pm. Price per person is $90 for a 12 course omakase. We also validate parking for the Waikiki Shopping Plaza lot. Chef Miki truly delivered one of the most delectable sushi experiences I've ever enjoyed! This was a birthday dinner for me and my spouse (we have bdays a week apart) and it was magical! The ambience is so intimate, it felt so special and individually curated. Her bites and the flavor pairings were incomparable to anything else I've tasted!! A wonderful Waikiki experience, can't wait to return and find out where Chef Miki will take us next!

Our chef Kenta Kayama has been trained under the best chef in Japan, Mr.Kanda who keeps 3 stars Michelin for the whole time Michelin has been published in Japan.
We opened our door in Tokyo in 2014 and became known as the best place for truffle and old world wine lovers. We serve only fresh seasonal truffles from all over the world throughout the year, Italian Alba white truffle to French Perigord black truffle, Tasmanian black, sometimes even from Spain.

It was a well thought out curated meal. We had the tasting menu. May have been better to include the truffle; and costs, obviously. But I can understand why it was done like it was as part of the show.

A delicious 5 course tasting menu($139) excellent service, and even brought a second dessert with a candle for my husband’s birthday.. the new happening place!

Second time going and was just as good as the first! Would definitely recommend anyone celebrating an event or just looking for a cute date spot!
