Simply amazing as usual...nailed every single detail of service and food. Family was amazed at all the flavors and complexity of all the dishes. Butter Cake was the cherry on top!

It has been said that Bruce Auden has “put San Antonio on the culinary map” but this Chef is just getting started. The Biga menu features fresh caught fish like Mahi Mahi, True American Red Snapper and Ahi Tuna. Main stays on the menu usually include Hill Country Venison and Bandera Quail, Grilled Australian Rack of Lamb and Roasted Bell & Evans Chicken.

The dining room is modern with a casual-well informed style of service.

As usual, Biga was the best! We do all our celebrations there and tonite was no exception. This was my 75th birthday, and they rolled out the red carpet. Food - wonderful; Service - the best. If you are in San Antonio, go to Biga!!

This casual, upscale restaurant offers innovative American cuisine including the freshest seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and Pacific, great steaks from Allen Brothers in Chicago, and regional and seasonal specialties. Daily lunch and dinner specials feature local ingredients whenever possible. The Heights burger can be paired with hand cut French fries, crispy thin onion rings, homemade lemon-pepper potato chips or German potato salad. There is an outdoor patio under a canopy of oak trees that's shady and extremely popular with locals and visitors to San Antonio. The brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays features a menu of classic egg dishes, Texas pot roast, jumbo lump crab cake, seasonal "out of the blue" seafood entrees, entree salads, and Mustang chicken. Our server, Francisco, was incredible! He was attentive, considerate and did not let us lift a finger to pour more coffee or water. He was very thoughtful on timing our food and his check-ins were helpful! The fried sticky bun was incredible and the coffee was great. Our other breakfast items were tasty as well!

The food was very delicious. We had the blackened redfish with the braised short-ribs the first night. The two shrimp on top of the redfish were very large and the braised short ribs were very tender. The second night we had the shrimp and grits and the double grilled pork chops. Again the food was very delicious. The seating was in the bar area and was rather noisy but we still enjoyed a great dinner.
