Located in the charming beach town of Gearhart, OR - possibly best known for being the summer home & final resting place of James Beard, the godfather of American fine dining, The Pacific Way is located in a history filled 1929 building. Depending on the coastal weather, you may chose a cozy space indoors, warm by a fire or dine in our covered dog friendly patio. Our menu is farm-to-table, changes based on what is fresh from the farms this week & our culinary team offers chalkboard menu items regularly. You'll find our menu is seafood forward, but it is worth noting there's always something special on deck for the vegetarian and carnivore in the group. We recommend making reservations for dinner (Thu-Sun, 4-8p) but accept walk-ins when we can.

Excellent restaurant in every respect; food, service, decor, you name it. This is a genuine diamond in the rough. I will never understand how a small town restaurant can find such talented kitchen staff. Pretty amazing. You won't be disappointed.

From start to finish our experience was great. I have family in from out of town for the holiday and wanted to end their trip with a meal including seafood..our favorite choice..M and S grill. We were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the front desk staff who went above and beyond moving our reservation by 15 minutes because we thought we might be late and called an hour ahead. Our wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about the menu. He was efficient but unobtrusive. He was especially helpful when our out of town guest wanted to order her scallops with different sides than were on the menu. Our food was very good, beautifully plated and the right temperature. Specifically the Seafood Alfredo provided a generous serving of shrimp and scallops, the Bourbon Salmon was moist and flavorful, the scallops were served with three sauces and the walnut mixed greens were a delightful starter. There is a reason we return again and again and we will be back!

Best view dining on the mid coast! The Sunrise Margarita was a real disappointment for $14. I expect a lot more visual and flavor bang for my buck. The food here isn’t chefy at all—it’s straightforward seafood generally done right. Great service!
