Terrible service, simply terrible! Waitress scattered and never came to table once during meal. Took 45 min post salad and soup to get main course and then 35 min staring at dirty plates before desert arrived after complaining 3 times to manager Irving. Worst dining experience we have had in years. It’s no Capital Grille where they treat each client with incredible attention to detail regardless of how busy. Go elsewhere!
The food was fabulous and our server was very good, I'll say up front. Sadly, large parties sat around us that dressed inappropriately (basically, all the things the website said to NOT DO) , way short- shorts, man in tank top and shorts with a hat and kids going from table to table as they knew one another. We asked to move as did pretty much most of the people sitting around them did too. Their money spends the same but it really diminished the experience. We don't go spending that much regularly for dinner and it felt like we were pushing a rock up a big hill to avoid this crowd.
Celebrating a big deal closing
Spectacular, as always...sad to hear that Olivér is leaving but Paul and Irving were gracious.
Our go to place for special occasions. Great steaks, super drinks and fabulous wine selection. A bit of a drive for us but worth the effort. They will see us again.
Being it was our 30th wedding anniversary my husband and I chose to celebrate it at Ruth’s Chris Steak House while on vacation In Seattle. They did not disappoint. I ordered the petite ribeye, shoestring fries, grilled asparagus, later ordering my favorite dessert, creme brûlée. Everything was so delicious, especially the ribeye. I would definitely eat here again since it is such a treat. Shout out to the nice and friendly restaurant manager Irving for coming by our table and asking how our meal went.
The best filet mignon ever! Lobster bisque and crab cakes were superb. Beautiful restaurant. Service was friendly, prompt, and polite. A 1st class dining experience.
The food and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning. The quality of the steaks was outstanding. This is coming from a person who raises his own beef. I am very picky on the quality and you raised the bar in this regard.
My steak was well over done for my requested medium well. Also, another member at my table was over cooked for their requested medium. The manager did come over and apologize, but from our previous experience at this restaurant, there has never been a problem before.
Our meal was one of the best we have ever had at Ruth Chris. Our waiter Josh was outstanding and a real asset to the restaurant. Wish we lived close - it would be a regular.
The only issue was my medium rare steak was served to the other person in our party and I got the medium steak which wasn’t what I had ordered. Food was great besides that, I didn’t send it back because we were in a bit of a hurry.
While we have been to Ruth Chris Steak houses before, this was our first visit to their Seattle store. We had a 7:15 reservation and arrived 5 mins early, so we went to the bar; but at 7:30 we were still waiting for a table and when I went to the Maitre d, he said our table was ready. But was he ever going come to the bar and tell us? We was placed toward the back of the house and the service was OK, but not much more than OK. Food quality was good as always, but it was not the experience I have had at other Ruth Chris stores.
This restaurant definitely has the sizzle! Steaks are flavorful, tender and juicy......certainly the hot buttered plate helps! Service was outstanding. we were a little rushed, due to theater tickets. I wish we could have lingered longer. Will certainly return when we have more time!
Excelente servicio enrique un muchacho origen mexicano nos atendió como reyes a mi y a mi esposa margaritas para iniciar y toda una selección de productos ricos y frescos excelentes el lugar
Had dinner prior to seeing Wicked at the Paramount Theater. Had the 12 oz. ribeye, medium rare, the potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach. (I do prefer my creamed spinach a little thicker...and felt it needed a bit of salt.) A fine meal.
Great time celebrating a birthday before heading to a show. Everything was delicious. Our server was attentive but didn't hover. It certainly is pricey, but we knew that going in. I highly recommend.
Enjoyed prefunction before the Paramount.
Staff was excellent. Food was excellent
The worst service and food quality I have ever experienced at Ruth Chris downtown Seattle location!! Waited over 35 minutes for drinks ordered in bar and then sat 30 minutes after reservation time. Party of four, all dinner orders were incorrect and then waited another 20 mins for correct dinners to be delivered. Presentation of lobster and steak plates looked like someone dropped the plates. 60$ Rib-eye steak was not up to par. Manager and waiter comped one round of drinks on a $450 bill.
Would not recommend this restaurant at all. Too many nicer less expensive and higher quality of restaurants in Seattle to choose from!!!
Was going to see wicked
Came with a party of 8 while on vacation visiting Seattle. It was also a 29th wedding anniversary dinner for me and my wife. We arrived on time for reservation and was seated almost immediately with an acknowledgement of the anniversary ( great ). The restaurant is very appealing to the eye if you like low light and darker tones, which I do. Our table was round, in a good location and was set up very nice. Very impressive! The only negative as far as the building goes is the multiple seating levels requiring the navigation of stairs. A true negative if you have mobility issues. Here is a list of the positives and negatives.
> lighting / table setting
> staff nicely dressed
> steak was rated about a 7 of 10 ( mildly chewy) tried to request between med - med well.
> stairs inside
> never seemed connected with our server
> server had to be reminded a couple of times about request
> the big one was that none in the group felt impressed by the food. The sides in particular were horribly amateurish. Tasted like boxed potatoes and canned spinach. The bread and butter were okay.
A true sign of a not so good meal is when no one takes home the leftovers and nearly 100% of your party has negative comments afterwards. Hopefully it was just an off night, because we have had positive experiences at other RC locations. The bottom line is that if I ever return to Seattle, I would probably seek out one of the other steak options in town.
Impeccable service. Voluntarily provided me with a black napkin to save my black dress from lint! Attentive but not hovering Loved the meat! Food came out in great intervals. I love dining there before Theater events!
Very consistent food prep. One of the best locations for food and service!!!
As expected the dinner experience was exceptional.
Delicious food as always, and excellent service too!
Great dinner on a getaway weekend, first time at Ruths Chris steakhouse but it will not be the last! Amazing!
The petite filets were not very tasty - lots of fats to add flavor and the wait for dinner was unusually long -
I've been to several Ruth's Chris Steakhouses and I found this one to be on PAR if not better than average. Everyone was courteous and informative. We also did not feel rushed or strong-armed into any particular meal. I have no suggestions for improvements.
The food we ordered was good, however my filet was overdone. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to send it back and get one the way I asked for it to be cooked as we were going to a play and had limited time because it took a while before our order was even taken. Also I my mom ordered the filet with shrimp but she was bright a filet with lobster, she sent it back so she could get what she ordered but I still got charged for the filet with lobster, but again we didn’t have time to deal with that as we were trying to make it to the Paramount. Overall the food was good but they were a little sloppy with getting orders correct and they were also very slow.
Seeing a broadway play with family
Enjoyed our evening. We celebrated u UW graduation, a 51 year marriage, and just being together.
Dinner was wonderful.
Great food. Great staff. Wonderful event.
Always great food.
Always great service! The atmosphere is also very pleasant.
We were celebrating our anniversary and were treated like royalty ! Rose petals covered the table and happy anniversary was written on our dessert along with a card!
Great as always...the service is superior to other restaurants that we've been to and that makes the experience memorable.
The waiter was very attentive and we never had to wait for anything. This was my girl’s and I first time dining at Ruth’s Chris. The food was very good and the steak was cooked to our liking. The price of the food is your typical steak house cost. I would definitely be dining in again.
Lovely dinner, as always! Ruth’s Chris never disappoints! Tender filet, creamed spinach. Easy to do low carb dinners here!
SPECTACULAR!!! Fifth visit to the Downtown location. Very elegant, attentive staff. From Olivér at the front desk, to Irving the manager coming to our table, to Paul our server recommending fine wines to complement our experience, Ruth Chris' Steakhouse continues to live up to its reputation. Thanks for such a lovely evening.
Very nice experience. Food was very good. My steak was undercooked for me, but they made it right very quickly. Love the creamed spinach! Tasty desserts as well.
Lovely dinner on a Sunday evening. Excellent dinner...soup, filet, creamed spinach and double chocolate dessert. Outstanding service, as always.
