I had the ribeye and my partner had the NY strip with shrimp. Both were done just right. Josh, our server, was also very helpful.
Great service from Paul. Food was outstanding.
Server Ashley was beyond phenomenal! Food and wine was delicious!! Ambience perfect..not too loud or too quiet! My husband and I shared the tomahawk steak. Amazing flavor and cut! Loved the creme brulee for dessert too
Very rude staff.
Sadly not a good dinner. Filet was spoiled and tasted old. We usually enjoy RC for special dinners. Unfortunately this time was disappointing.
This Location is more of a hotel-run restaurant than a typical stand alone... and the service reflects it. The food was awesome, up to Ruth's Chris standards but for the price I expect outstanding service as well.
Service was outstanding. They came out into hotel lobby to guide us in when my limited mobility kept me from using their stairs. Food was excellent & plentiful. Service was prompt, even with a lot of conference attendees there too.
We came in from across the country to visit my daughter. This was a special treat to dine in such an establishment. Reservation was booked days in advance. Before arrival, I telephoned directly to inquire specifically about jeans and if this attire was acceptable. I was told “no, not for dinner.” Our party obliged and we all dressed in smart business casual. Upon reflection, I realize now we were seated near the kitchen with inappropriate diners. One table had 2 crying babies and 2 other tables totaled 4 men in ball caps, unremoved. It is clear we were not in a desired area of the restaurant. Remember, we were not walk ins and had a reservation. Our server Kevin was not friendly and said he couldn’t wait until he was off tomorrow. No explanation of the menu or specials was made. We were rushed to make a menu selection and no assistance was offered when we were struggling to make choices. As we departed the restaurant and walked through toward the door, it felt like a different dining experience for others in the main area. I have never had a poor Ruth’s Chris experience until this time. With all of the delicious choices in a great city, I felt disappointed with your restaurant. I have never written a review before, of anything. So for me to take the time to express my views should represent the level of dissatisfaction I am still feeling 3 days later. I have been a patron of Ruth’s Chris for 20 years and I know this experience doesn’t measure up to your typical standards. It must have just been an off night, for all.
great food, convenient to Convention Center. A bit pricey, but you can get some cheaper plates during happy hour. Connected to the Hyatt Grand
They made our 21st Birthday celebration for our daughter special. So many touches that made the evening one to remember. Service was great and the food was amazing. We will return!
Staff was amazing food was excellent .meat..steak and lamb superb.cauliflower was mediocre. Manager came to our table several times to check on us .very attentive ..was a lot of fun interacting with the staff ..
Overall, great experience! Always love the delicious buttery sizzling steaks here. Great place to celebrate an anniversary as they make sure to congratulate and give you special attention :)
We returning customers to Ruth’s.
Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed.
Lobster bisque unfortunately was not good. Too creamy and not much taste of the lobster.
Steaks superb as well the desserts we tried the cr brulee and cheesecake.
Fantastic! My first experience here, it was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and wonderful to talk with! The food was impeccable and a wonderful atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back!
Great food with great view! Definitely recommended and revisit.
Dined at the Seattle Ruth's Chris for the first time to celebrate my dad's birthday. Overall, it was a great experience and our server, Ashely, did a great job! She was very friendly and professional and I would recommend her if you go to this location.
The ambiance is fine and the food is your typical Ruth's Chris fare and quality.
I noticed in other's reviews of this particular location that service tended to fall a little bit after dinner (between dinner and dessert) and we experienced that as well. It was just noticeable that the support wait staff wasn't around as much to refill water/coffee. Other than that, everything else was great.
Finally, since the restaurant is located inside the Grand Hyatt, validated valet parking is available for a discounted rate of $10.
Our server, Nelson, was awesome! He took good care of us and what we needed. He also recommended an amazing steak for us to try. We had a great dinner that night. The steak was the best steak I ever had. Thank you, "Ruth Chris Steakhouse" for making my Seattle trip awesome! =D
Great service and delicious food. We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here!
Our server Josh was amazing. Great way to start our fun evening with a great dinner at Seattle's Chris Ruth's!
Our first time dining at Ruth Chris, the food was perfectly prepared and presentation amazing!!!
our party of 6 all enjoyed our dinner selections and the overall experience. Would come again.
Service was slow.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Oliver was an amazing a funny host. They had set up a special table and everyone stopped in to wish us a happy anniversary. Our waiter, Zach, was outstanding. He asked us about our evening, gave great recommendations, and went above and beyond our expectations!! A wonderful anniversary and a wonderful dining experience!
Ruth's Chris is always a consistently good steak house
The food was very tasty. A little pricy but we will come back.
A lovely dining experience for our 35th wedding anniversary.
We always love our dining experience at Ruth's Chris in Seattle. The food and staff are excellent!
Had a wonderful meal on Saturday night. The steak melted in the mouth and the Malbec washed down a treat. I loved the sweet potato side dish with the crushed pecan crust- just delicious!
The service was attentive but not intrusive and all in all it was a great night.
I know I will be back the next time I am in town.
My steak was ordered Medium and came out rare was told by the waiter 'just slice it thin and leave on the plate for a bit it will cook. It did, however my plate was now covered in blood and I had to wait while my wife ate. Never once asked if we wanted a refill on sodas.
Our meal didn’t meet our expectations based on past experiences with Ruth’s Chris restaurants. I had a New York Strip which had a vein of gristle running through it and the steak was very tough overall. None of our meals were cooked properly. Next time we go to Seattle we will pick a different steakhouse.
Iur server, Ashley was terrific. The dinner was a business meeting and she immediately recognized that and didn’t jeep bugging us to order. She cycled back at appropriate intervaks so that she didn’t interrupt our conversation. She was able to match the pacing of tge service with our needs.
Ruth Chris is the best place to get a steak. It is amazingly flavorful and cooked to perfection. Every cut will melt In your mouth. The service is impeccable and the environment is very welcoming and romantic.
Service was terrible
Food came out wrong
Service was very attentive
Great way to celebrate our last evening in Seattle. Had the Chris combo which included a starter, side main course and dessert for only 50.00. Turned onto this concept in New Orleans from Bill even though they called us a no show for the reservation. Super service and outstanding food. Only down fall was the walk up and down 3 sets for f stairs to use the restroom.
I was here for a business dinner as I’ve dined at other Ruth’s Chris and had excellent meals. Our server was on point and very friendly. Other than that, the food was under seasoned and over buttered. Literally everything was drowning in butter. At one point I used the leftover bread to sop up the butter on my dish so I could eat around it. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, fries, mushrooms and cauliflower to share. I had the filet which was stringy and my team had three ribeyes. With all the restaurants in Seattle I will not return to
This particular location.
This is place attains to be an old world, high dining steak experience. The food was pretty amazing- the steaks exactly what we hoped for. The service level was very high, especially from the support staff, though there were weird moments, like our menus being left on the table when our appetizer was served, so we had to put our plates on our menus. We were asked if we wanted our salads served with our meal, and when we said yes, they promptly brought them out several minutes before our entrée. I was clearly in a walking cast, but escorted to, and told to go down, no less than 28 steps to find the bathroom. With a $300+ price tag for 3 people, these were disappointing moments.
I was especially surprised by the lack of upkeep in details of the location. There was a broken lamp between banquets that was somewhat held together with packing tape. One of the urinals had black duct tape in a cross pattern to show it was not in use (and clearly had been used anyway), and surely it wasn't a new situation, as you could see that there was residue from it being taped in a different place. The other urinal had some graffiti-type of sticker on it. When I found an elevator that took me half way back up to our table, the elevator was full of scratches and dents, like it was a service elevator. Since it is in the basement of a single use, high end restaurant, it seems it should be kept up better. And it's a shame, because it is beautiful place, with gorgeous layout and lighting.
Was it the best steak I have had in years? Yes. Was the over-all atmosphere aspirational and welcoming? Sure. I will be hopeful that they fix the broken items and put some money into upkeep, and therefore I recommend this place. It isn't a four star experience, but oh, that steak.
Terrible service, simply terrible! Waitress scattered and never came to table once during meal. Took 45 min post salad and soup to get main course and then 35 min staring at dirty plates before desert arrived after complaining 3 times to manager Irving. Worst dining experience we have had in years. It’s no Capital Grille where they treat each client with incredible attention to detail regardless of how busy. Go elsewhere!
The food was fabulous and our server was very good, I'll say up front. Sadly, large parties sat around us that dressed inappropriately (basically, all the things the website said to NOT DO) , way short- shorts, man in tank top and shorts with a hat and kids going from table to table as they knew one another. We asked to move as did pretty much most of the people sitting around them did too. Their money spends the same but it really diminished the experience. We don't go spending that much regularly for dinner and it felt like we were pushing a rock up a big hill to avoid this crowd.
Celebrating a big deal closing
