Not as good as we remembered. Kind of disappointing this go around. There was no one bad thing, it just wasn't what we remembered. My husband loves the hot plate, but the steak was dry.... we went with the plated dinner, in lieu of a la cart sides and I suspect we would have liked it a little more. But $180 for a ho-hum meal was disappointing.
They were nice to our daughter, though and we appreciated that.
Food was very good, service was okay, very busy night.

This is a very special place to come to for a special occasion. The service is top notch and of course the food is always delicious. Thank you for helping us celebrate #77 for my husband.
We visited for my son’s birthday knowing that Chris Ruth’s will not disappoint and they didn’t!!
Two out of 3 filet mug in’s were undercooked. This was my second time to experience this at Ruth’s Chris. The Server would also disappear for long periods of time so we waited long periods for drinks and bread.

Great food, great service. Expensive, but a nice choice for celebration.
I'm from NO and visited the original Broad Street location many, many time until I moved away from NO in 1989. I've been to Ruth's all over the US. Almost without exception, the steaks are prime and properly prepared and thus delicious. The biggest problem is the deciding on a starter, salad or side dish - they are all so delicious. I've literally never had a bad meal at any Ruth's including last Saturday night at the Addison location. I will say and this has nothing to do with Ruth's but rather what I consider the loss of civility in society - people don't know how to dress or talk with an "indoors" voice. I consider Ruth's an upscale steakhouse and what people wear and the need to share their conversation with everyone in the restaurant is appalling to us. The tables are well spaced so it's not Ruth's problem, it's just we, as a society, have lost our manners and consideration for others..........too bad. A lament and don't expect any response or action as, again, it's not Ruth's issue. I will offer one suggestion for servers with diners in the row of the booth. Our server did a great job. However, the lady server on the table behind choose to stand and lean on the back of my booth and recite the menu and make happy talk with her table of guests. However, her voice was loud, high pitched and she was hyper (like to make coffee or Monster drinks). I couldn't even hear our waiter and it felt she was shouting down directly into my ear when he was trying to take our order. I would suggest those waiting booths to center themselves in the middle, like our waiter was, and not on an end. Furthermore, it would be helpful for them to lean over rather than stand straight up and shout down, particularly into the next-door booth. That's all, overwise a great dinner and service, and we'll be back. Thanks, Lloyd Reid
Service has become increasingly bad, took 45 minutes to get a bottle of very expensive wine brought to the table
We go every year for New Years and Anniversary’ our 5th year in a row!
This was our first time there and the food and the service were great. With the volume of folks in and out of there, it was noisy and busy but would certainly return on a less busy night.
We went on New Year’s Eve so naturally it was crowded. That did not diminish our enjoyment. Waiter was outstanding and attentive. We never felt like we were forgotten due to the number of diners. Food was very good, especially the fire roasted corn (my favorite). Very nice experience which is what we have always gotten at this Ruth’s
Service was excellent. Steak was fine. Salad average shoestring fries were plentiful. Lamb chops were fatty Dessert was yummy. Mushrooms average. Wine was ok. 300 so not a good value for what we got as food was average. Our server Ginni was excellent.
The food was not very good. The manager did take off the lobster which was under cooked and the service was great. With so many steak houses to choose from I would not recommend this one
It's a bit of an older scene, but the food is excellent and the slightly dirty martinis are on point.
I had a terrible experience. It was more than 12-15 minutes before a waiter approached our table. My daughter and I asked for our steaks medium rare, and they were rare. No one asked us to cut into our steaks to make sure they were cooked to our liking. They basically served you and walked away. I had to pour my own wine, as the server never came back to check on us. The bread is not the same as before, the mashed potatoes were terrible and didn’t even have a tint of garlic in it. We asked for our dessert to go and the Creme Brûlée looked as if it was just thrown in the container. It’s my second bad experience at Ruth’s Chris, and I won’t be back. It’s sad because it’s been our family tradition for the last 10 years.

Our anniversary dinner was just fabulous. Our wait person ( Jenni) was outstanding. We will return. Great evening all around.

It wasn’t bad. Not great, but good. Which is a little disappointing, because the menu prices dictate that the food be great. Vegetable portions get smaller with every visit. And service was strained ... I’m thinking our waiter was responsible for a few too many tables. So it may be awhile before we go back. I’m thinking it’s time we visit some of the other great steak places with a little more frequency.
This is where we do our annual Christmas dinner- this year our waitress was awful and not at all the level of service you anticipate at Ruth’s Chris- but maybe an Outback! She insulted my 82 year old father in law and was sarcastic
After this experience a 25 year tradition of anniversaries and holidays will be celebrated next door at III Forks!
We went there for Christmas and the service was phenomenal! The food was cooked to perfection and we had a very enjoyable time. Prices are great for this level of food.
This was a Christmas Day lunch so my review should be ready in context. Bob and Payton did a great job of serving my party of 11, but as you can imagine the kitchen struggled with meat temp while plating for 11.
Nathan was fantastic, as was the rest of the staff. Everyone was very attentive and had a great attitude. The food was delicious - I had the salmon, asparagus and chocolate duo.

Steak was under cooked and took some time to get it back. Also steak didn’t have much flavor. Was very disappointed. The dessert was excellent and the service was good.

VERY DISAPPOINTED...I had a party of 8 for a special family holiday get together. We had a 6PM reservation.
we immediately ordered the "Signature Chilled Seafood Tower" only to be told that they were out stock.
Now understand that this is THE SECOND TIME that this has happened. Food is great but this is not acceptable.
Always delicious , never disappointed whether its celebrating a birthday or a Christmas office party!

Wonderful experience as usual. Our usual waitress was off that night but Tory (I believe that was here name) was very friendly and attentive. Steaks were to perfection, as the shrimp cocktail which were gigantic. Will be back for New Years Eve. No up charge for dinner like many others.
I hadn't been to Ruth's Chris in a while, but glad I made the trip over. Food was great, our bartenders were awesome and just made for a great experience. I'll be back again soon.

The lobster was a bit over done but that’s how I like it. Very tough. I probably would not order that again there. Others had steak and enjoyed it. The waiter gave us the feeling that he wanted us to leave quickly. He picked up our check before we could sign and get our card out. Otherwise he did a great job. It was okay but probably not a place I would hurry back to.
Thanksgiving day dinner, been going to Three Forks and have had a great experience onthis day - decided to go with Ruth Chris just to be a little different - had our rservations for 4pm, didn’t get seated until 4:30pm - Ruth Chris didn’t have enough wait staff to serve their clientele so basics like water was neglected - we had steaks and they were cooked incorrectly basically well done no pink centers - sent food back but still came back wrong - was hoping to have a nice relaxing dinner instead it was quite the opposite and frustrating- should have stayed with Three Forks for consistency
