Beautiful food and flavors!
The food is absolutely outstanding, the flavors take center stage in carefully prepared dishes that combine traditional Mexican ingredients with a novel twist to turn them into mouthwatering dishes.
My only small critique would be that they don't give the time the food deserves, there should be more of a break between dishes, to allow one to continue enjoying the last bite before the next dish arrives. We felt a bit rushed especially for a restaurant of this standing and food of this quality.
Eveeything is Great！
one start, one pasta, one drink, one dessert plus 15% tip, cost only 45 US dollars! Much better than I spend same if I have the meal in USA
Great place with great food and service. We were in a separate room that was very quiet and comfy. Tasting and creative food, a must go in CDMX.
Wow was Rosetta a treat for our first weekend. The seasonal ravioli with sweet potato and chili oil was one of the most incredible things I've ever eaten, and the kale and pistachio tacos were truly one of a kind as well.
Appetizers were great. Entrees were our least favorite so far in CDMX. Outside tables are terrible. Exhaust in your face, street performers come to the table and ask for money, car horns blaring ten feet away.
We’ve tried many restaurants in Mexico City and this one is our favorite that we always return to. The chef/owner is so talented-it never feels like a tired menu, and the food and place are so special.
Excelente comida! excelente servicio!
Beautiful restaurant with sectioned off dining spaces.
Cocktails: Rosa Sangria was sour/bitter. Not good
Michelada with mezcal was meh. Not savory.
Appetizer: green tomatoes, Lima bean salad with cheese in a heavy fig dressing…presentation was very pretty. Flavor was tart from green tomatoes but overly sweet from fig syrup.
Mains: night special of pasta with lobster & shaved zucchini. Tasty, clean flavor. Not over sauced. Simple & clean presentation. Spicy from chili flakes.
Fish: large serving; presentation is interesting. It’s baked in a hard shell that’s opened table side. Fish is laid on thin bed of raw spinach and drizzled with olive oil. Taste was very bland. All
Show no delivery. Spinach did wilt under steam of fish. Olive oil served no purpose. I understand focus on quality ingredients and freshness..but it needed some more “pizazz”.
Didn’t bother with dessert.
Some of the most interesting and surprising food in Mexico. Not the only the food is delicious it it’ll surprise you in many ways. The service is impeccable, genuine recommendations and the fastest you can ever imagine at this level. You’ll find a mix of traditional Mexican cuisine and European. A big plus for the wine by the glass.
Uff delicioso
The Service was no good at all, and they online have 2 white wine by glass, how come !!
We were so disappointed in Rosetta, which was a meal we were really excited about. In the end, we got decent Italian food -- on the level of your good hometown Italian restaurant -- with absolutely abysmal service. We hit several fine dining places in CDMX on a recent trip and the inattentiveness, lack of interest, and general rudeness of the servers at Rosetta was such an unwelcome change of pace from the hospitality we saw everywhere else. In addition, the restaurant is very loud and we were sat next to a huge group that kept taking chairs from our table (on one occasion, a staff member took a chair without even attempting to check with us first), which we found a bit odd and off-putting in a high-end restaurant. With so many other exceptional places in CDMX, I have to recommend skipping this one.
Incredible lunch! Every dish was delicious and so was the complimentary bread. The space is beautiful and comfortable. The Pine Nut and Pixtle Dessert was one of my favorite desserts that I have ever had. Will definitely be back next time I am in Mexico City.
Amazing! Loved everything about it. A must visit in CDMX
the food is not enought for the price that they ask .
the flavour is ok
One of the Best services in the city, delicious flavours
Our experience was overshadowed by the hostess’s unwelcome greeting. We had made a reservation in advance. When we arrived she told me our reservation was cancelled. I asked why and she said because we were late. We were just a few minutes after the grace period. I asked if she had a table for two and she said yes. There were many tables available both outside and inside. I wonder, if I hadn’t asked, would we have gotten to dine there that night? And, what was the point of cancelling us and rejecting us when there was so much availability? Overall the food was good - some dishes were delicious and others were forgettable. Our waitstaff was nice but seemed stretched so thin they were almost always in a hurry.
From the ambiance to the food, everything was amazing. We loved the kale and pistachio tacos as well as the braised short ribs. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the margarita served up was one of my favorite cocktails I’ve had in a while. Thank you for the excellent service and memorable evening! This is hands down a favorite in CDMX.
We were waiting for about 20 minutes upon arrival. We were escorted upstairs to the bar, then back down a few minutes later. We didn’t have a dedicated server, but rather a lot of people came and dropped off food, no introductions, no check-ins.
Food itself: not memorable. Pasta undercooked, seafood over cooked and rubbery. Risotto was decent. Could have used way less salt, had to offset with more bread. Best part was rosemary focaccia and olive oil. Great olive oil! The tamal dish…what a letdown. The sauce was bland…almost like milk. The tamal itself was salty enough, but also lacked depth, nothing like the rich, dense tamales sold on the street corners. It felt empty, almost. Sweet potato dish was recommended by a lot of servers, but was the worst of all. The potatoes were underdone and a few slices were raw in the middle. The sauce it came with was watery and strange. Almost like milk with water. If it wasn’t for the salsa macha on top it would have been inedible. The extraviano fish entree, was haphazard. Bok Choy way overcooked, sauce salty without any flavor. Fish cooked very well and flaky, but it was as if it was poached without any seasoning. It lacked ANY salt, and I suppose was to be balanced out by the sauce, but felt like the dish didn’t tie together. Overall, we wish we had a different experience. They were extremely busy, and both the service and food reflected that.
Original, delicious. I especially loved the appetizers. The ambience, like the food, was very cool with long vines cascading down from the ceiling.
Hostess was not welcoming at all,
Excelente como siempre. El róbalo extraordinario. Felicidades a Elena Reygadas!
